Should i use general account investment or Roth IRA?
I have a 401k with my job sitting at about 20k and i put in 6%. Ive only been there a few years. I also have 3 annuities. one of them is an IRA and the other 2 are NQ accounts. I funded these with sale of deceased parents house and life insurance. The IRA was funded with old 401k rollover. I know im locked into these for a few years and I dont want to take the fee hit pulling out early. ( I got into these variable indexed annuities because I didnt really know what I was doing at the time) At 43 years old where should I allocate these funds too when im free to move the money? there is 280k and 60k in the NQ accounts (as of today) and 70K in the IRA. Can i move them to an IRA outside of these annutiy contracts, like Fidelity?
