I was there bro, chez and clouds. Way back before tropicana and ange noir. When Dj Mukiibi and Dj Andy were spinning the vinyls, where were you? Am on 5th floor of life and enjoy the good music.
Same here, Choubidou. In August of 1986, Tony Humphries was the guest DJ on 98.7 Kiss in NYC, and he mixed one helluva party. And to this day, I still have it on cassette.
@Soulito Boogie Talk about reminiscing! I will have to search through the many cassettes in my collection. The song you are mentioning is screaming at me and I know for certain that I have it, however, it will take time.
@Soulito Boogie Thanks for the links. Yes, I was able to open and listen. This one is not easy. DJ Humphries mixed Celebrate with quite a few dance songs. Please allow me to research and I will get back to you. Thank you!
@Soulito Boogie Alright, the word is out. Not only am I involved, but the world is too. I notified several forums to assist. Again, this one takes a little more effort, so give it time -- not too much time, of course.
LOL iv just seen that i spelt length wrong ... anyway most of the Electro that i luv has a lot of hip hop or rap influence too but thats from the commercialization of mass produced music but in saying that there are a lot of tunes that are classics in there own right that are still played in clubs and on pirate radio and now on the internet but they never realy made it big but people like us keep them alive ';-)
if its good and its got a beat with some ace BASS i dont care what genre i luv almost all music well i say almost i realy mean 80s electro of course LOL ';-)
just so we are on the same wave lenght i didnt mean to make it sound as though i class this as electro i was trying to say i like this but i realy like electro more but anyway as its an awesome tune i luv it all the same ';-)
Its confusing because today's audience thinks of anything new or from the early 80s that has a lot of synthesizer and certain 80s drums. Back in the day, electro was only a narrow niche, tracks like Hashim Al-Naafiysh
Man this is late 80s club anthem that can never die
