Always LOVE the miniature persons concept, ever since that tv series from the 60s I loved to watch when I was little in the '80s but could never remember the title of. Lol. Land of the Giants, I think.

I agree that Downsizing had great potential, I wish it had delved more on the potential misuse of technology (like the shrunken political prisoner) rather than the ecological message that felt tackled on (not that I'm against the concept, just felt out of place and going in all directions at once)

Shrinking tech like this would be better used in a horror movie. Capturing and shrinking people, then putting centipedes and spiders to hunt them in a terrarium or a maze.
