Hi Wilson! This Music Video was inspired from a Philippine Mythology from Binibining Haliya(portrayed by Miss Liza Soberano) as the moon diety that was said who would wear a mask of gold to hide her beauty. Haliya was a warrior goddess who fought Bakunawa(the serpent that you saw in the MV) that tried to swallow the moon that would cause total darkness. I remember when I was a child, my grandmother told me about this story. There was an eclipse at that time, she told me that Bakunawa would swallow the moon so we should make some noise to chase Bakunawa away. The funny thing was I truly believed this when I was young, so naive...haha... I think some regions still doing this rituals. Some scenes also showed some popular artworks from our great Filipino artists(like Akira dragging a sand bag and a scene before Mikki raps when the boys are shouting/crying and there's a smoke coming out from Gelo's hand). It was just an imitation actually but who thought about this scenes was brilliant. Thank you for reacting and supporting this Music Video. Looking forward for your next videos. Haliya (Liza Soberano) is a lunar goddess worshipped mainly by those who lived in pre colonial Bicol. Haliya arch enemy was Bakunawa ( monster you see in the screen) a giant serpent who according to legend, had devoured her brother Bulan, the embodiment of the moon, whom she had sworn to protect. Haliya is said to have forged a mask of gold to hide her beauty (RedGoldMoon) it's a mind blowing concept just for the MV right? Haliya hired/trained BGYO to fight for the serpent-dragon. They put a twist in a modern way.
