Treats harmonics from vocals, guitar solos (electric) in a slightly rough way. it is in the 4-6Khz area. Not reflected in a graph..I don't think but using a spectogram and filters I narrowed it to there. Great value if that does not bother as it is not far off the Sus but Sus is superior in every way with my library. Review will be coming
Have you tried AB1266? I have both and kept going back and forth, couldn't tell a winner. It will be good to hear your opinion. Thanks for your effort.
Hello again. I wasn't quite sure what you meant when describing its power requirements - were you saying that the susvara is harder to drive than the HE-6SE?
Cheapest latch that ever could latch a damn latch! Dats a lot of latches my man! You OCD matches you perfect for this. No one can compete with your precision ‘if I could point to one second that made this better....’ no reviewer has the rep but you to make that a reality. Because all your reviews are that precise.
80% of people who listened to the Susvara have no idea how it can sound, because amplification was not up to par (even with high-end headphone amps) and the supplied cable is an utter joke. I own a Susvara: the cable IS is a Troll. Especially low AWG headphone cables (17-21 AWG) do sound massively better. When you compare similar quality headphones cables, lower AWG will always sound better. On my speaker amp (Naim Supernait) the Sus needs similar volume/power as my Harbeth speakers. And just like speakers, it will sound compressed and less extended when AWG is too high. Did I miss your comments about amplification? IMHO most reviews just do not mention importance of amplification enough. It makes a phenomenal difference: with enough power and current, the Sus really transforms: Soundstage and PRaT are clearly better and will rock even more. The Sus is a b*tch to amp up to her potential. That is why so many Susvara owners use speaker amps.
You would need to replace the cable connecter in the cups if you are that worried about the cable thickness. Cause it would need to match your outside cable.
@@-havoc-tzu-3197 I have no doubt the tonality of the Susvara is superior. But I use eq for everything and soundstage and imaging is very important to me (along with detail) so I was wondering if an equalized Abyss is better than an equalized Susvara?
I haven’t actually tried to EQ the abyss, but it was connected to a $13000 tube amp, and I really disliked it... so obviously I didn’t feel the need to spend anymore time with it. Susvara is much more impressive.
I just noticed you said that the Susvara is indeed higher to drive than the Hifiman...😂 I know what you meant tho, it was just hilarious at the moment...

It's funny to me that I watch reviews of headphones that I know I can't buy because these would be over 5% of my yearly income. Sometimes when I watch them you tell me about sets that are much more affordable that are actually better. If you get a chance, review the Abyss'. Can't afford them either, but at some point I might make that jump and splurge on them. I guess you'd call them an "endgame" headphone.
Awesome, I am going to pull the drivers and try and get a cool looking shell to put em in. The current plastic feels like the cheapest plastic on Earth
I have an Arya which I like but I think he6 would be perfect for me but they just look so ugly to me. Also I would need a new amp.. the only thing I don't like about Arya is they don't have a slam but the bass is still very nice. Susvara would be the solution but they're 6000$

My box lives in storage, and its scratched up. No idea how. Funny thing is my Ananda box is fine and they live next to each other.
