If I may--it occurred to me while reading Psalm 86:7 that the Lord's answer is promised, but what the answer is isn't. As hard as it may often be, "no" is also an answer sometimes, but at the thought of that I think of a quote I once heard: "The Lord will either give you what you want, or better." What "better" might mean isn't always very apparent, but we know that in all things, it has to do with being made like Christ. When a request is delayed or denied, I've found comfort in knowing these things:
1. The Lord is holy; there are none like Him, and His ways and thoughts are infinitely above mine. I can't comprehend them, but I can most certainly trust them. His wisdom is more than mine and more than anyone's.
2. The Lord has already proven His love for me in the greatest way: in sending His Son to live and die for me. Why should I doubt Him to provide anything lesser than that?
3. The Lord tells us again and again that He is compassionate, kind, mighty, bountiful, benevolent, caring, tender towards us, etc. These are just a handful of His attributes, and there are plenty more. Just how much I need to meditate on them daily! They are my comfort and my counsel in trials and temptations.
I know that the Lord is not cruel, and I also know that He is sovereign over all things. He knows my prayers and hears my cries. When it seems they are unheard, I'm not called to rationalize or understand everything, but to trust in Him, for He has been my God and will continue to be. His steadfast love and care are over me always, and I know that because He says so in His Word. I don't know when certain answers will come, how they will come, or, for some things, if they will come. I do know that He will continue the work He has started and never forsake me. I won't look back in glory and take joy in what I was given or not given as much as much as I will in how he made me to love Him and glorify Christ in what I was or wasn't given.
Wow, looking back just now I realize how much I just wrote. Kind of went a little ham there without realizing. I guess I'll end it here 😂
Sidenote: Amen to your prayer at the end. The Lord knows exactly what we need, exactly how we need it, and exactly when we need it. He wills all things for our maturity and joy in Him.
C’mon preach! 🙌🏼 That was all so wise and Lord led. I know it will help others who read it as it did with me. That’s a great verse you pointed out. Also a good reminder when you said that you won’t look back and care about all the things you got/ didn’t get. I know when we have a kingdom perspective and our main goal is to meet him in eternity, it shifts how we live and what we desire. Every answer he gives (sometimes the silence is an answer too) I know I can trust and he will always lead me well! He is our wonderful shepherd after all. God knows all my prayers
I feel this. Been going through this for a minute now and finally got to a point where I just surrendered it to Him and said not my will but yours and trusting in Him and His timing. If it happens, cool, if not, I'm still going to trust Him and have faith.
I know it’s so hard to get to that point, but when you do there’s so much peace in releasing that control. I’m glad you got there! Thank you for sharing this I’m sure it will encourage others who see it.

Because to me it looks more like a faith declaration, but not an clarifying explaination of anything.
I don't mean to judge here, but I'm a person who always wants to know everything for certain. I don't want to have to belive with doubts.
I know I'd like to have a wife but i also know i should want the Lord more than anything. Father God knows my hearts desire and i lay that at his feet. Even if it hurts, if He decides no than i will accept it because no matter what I will still have Him.
God wouldn't order you to marry somebody and he wouldn't forbid you to marry at all either. Generally it IS God's will for us to marry, but it's important to know where our desire to marry is coming from.
Or more precisely: What is your desire to marry really about? What are the thoughts attatched to it about? Is it just lust, or do you want a meaningfull relationship with somebody?
What is driving you? Selfish ambishion, or unconditional love? Fear, or confidence?
btw God wouldn't DEMAND you to have him set as the most important person in your life. Instead he's always trying to convince and encourage us to DECIDE if we whether or not want to set him as the most important person in your life.
My pesonal oppinion (IF your're interested):
To me it appears like that you seem to have a problem with lak of self confidence. Now this will negativelly affect ALL your relationships!
According to my personal experiences lak of self confidence, or low self esteem is usually attached to a lak of wisdom and knowledge about either your self, or about God.
As far as I know insecurity and self doubt are coming along with it. You might be negatively affected by past trauma (is my best guess).
I would advice you to seek for healing of your soul and wisdom from God. He can give you bouth.
Because if you're getting to know God better, he'll help you to get to know your self better also, wich will boost your self confidence. Improvement of self esteem will follow.
Insecurity and self doubt will dissipate. Your're getting stronger and wiser. You become a godly man and at the end you'll just attract the right woman.
All you got to do than is talk to her, wich will be MUCH easier at this point.

It has been like this for many years with heavy trials and I am still praying for his voice that can point to a clear path. Thank you. I needed this, anything. My life is super chaotic right now. Constant changing of situations and plans. Probably a miscariage. Because God told me I was pregnant. I even had a vision of the baby. And I had many symptoms of pregnancy . But got my period. I need to no know what to do. I have a few very important choices to make about the future. But have no inner guidance. And no answers or guidance from God. Many things went wrong. Lost my clothes. Lost my luggage. Everything doesnt go according to plan. My husband finally changed to the wonderful man I prayed for. And Everything was great. Then he changed back suddenly. I cant take it all well.
I will be praying for your situation sister! Do not fear or be dismayed for the Lord your God is with you! He will strengthen you and help you. (From Isaiah 41:10) God is moving even when he seems silent. I pray you cling to him and keep your faith.

After another failed attempt to overcome I heard the 😊words not yet. But I was devalued and descended into a deep pit. Hes basically opening past woinds.. longsufferring on top of sufferring is brutal but what choice do I have?😮
I think of Job and how he pleaded for God to answer him. In Job 13:15 he said though He slay me, yet will I trust Him.
I don’t know your story my brother, but I pray that no matter how long it’s taken.. that you keep faith that He will answer you. He is just and good. Though we don’t always understand.
From my experience.. Sometimes He reopens the wounds to clean them and treat them so they heal properly. I pray it will all be used for your good and His glory in the end.
No matter what we suffer from, I like to say my “worst days” with the Lord are still so much better than my “best days” without him.
In this life we will have trouble… I look forward to eternity with him. Praying for you!

I don't ask God for anything.
I tell him things.
I make demands sometimes.
From here, that's the way I have to play it.
I walk along the borders between heaven and hell in this world.
I talk to heaven and hell.
I have to deal with one or the other at any given time.
I've tried doing everything but stomping around on the ground and demanding that th4e Kingdom of Heaven come to the Earth at once.
So, I have that old conflict with God.
It would be a surrender and a spiritual embarrassment to ask God to make me comfortable in the kingdom of my enemy.
It has always been field conditions at war.
I tell God to enforce the law.
I know men are supposed to enforce the law, but they aren't doing it.
So, I tell God he is going to have to step in and enforce the law.
I can't maintain this potentially escalating conflict with God forever.
I sometimes fear the next time I see God; I will be in his face saying I've done enough, and it is time for Him to do his job.
Most people can't face His wrath, which leaves it up to me.
You can see why I don't ask for God to give me anything in this world.
My will is already to destroy it and commence on the new creation.
God believes we have to suffer some more, but "I am coming quickly" ad "soon" don't seem to be words you can trust in the scriptures.
So, every day, I walk between heaven and hell on Earth, listening to both and talking to both.
And things are always about the same, but gradually getting worse.
Until God does something.

I'm NOT blaming, or judging you, so don't get me wrong, but it seems to me that you have been fed religious lies by somebody, or something.
Have you ever read the HOLE bible? Don't you know that God is not just an unconcerned judge, but instead a loving father?

Here is additional maturity in your overview in...
how our Heavenly Father answers....
as you've mentioned all the good points- as to why some prayers aren't being answered...
I'd like to add a couple other points contributing to your strong Faith as you navigate into some of the reasons why prayer answers are not happening in our relationship with our Creator Yahuah...
that is something very basic that a lot of us who are spiritually awake seem to miss...
and that is addressing in our prayer time
Our Heavenly Father by his real official name Yahuah....
for example
the title LORD has replaced in the bibles...when
Our Saviors real official name title of (Yahusha) vs name Jesus...
So without nitpicking
I'll just explain that addressing you by your first name Jess or Jessica is officially proper
and you recognized with respect and will have more attention to someone who calls you by your first name rather than just consistently calling you Debbie
when your patiently listening and again someone addresses you as Debbie over and over
it's not necessarily something you're going to answer as our heavenly father has mercy and grace and patience of course
but prayers have I'm sure been hindered because of this not addressing our official Father in Heaven by his title true name Yahuah
and I do believe that our Creator understands our ignorance especially myself as well for many many years..
But interestingly enough of late upon learning our father's true title name I have been praying in his name and have found much more consistency in having answered prayer
and it just wanted to share that this simple addressing Our Father by his true name could be a reason why some or many reasons
why prayers are not answered due to the fact that additional information
such as the word LORD...
it refers to asking B'aal to answer our prayers...
which is the real switch in all our Christian Bibles is the name Yahuah has been replaced with LORD = B'aal
Also the title name 98% of the Christian Community use the word GOD in their prayers -Oh God people pray....
but truthfully GOD = Gad short for Gadreel -
and if you look up the name Gadreel -
Gadreel is referred to sa-tan literally
which is I'm sure a surprise and a shock to many
So what I'm trying to say here is :...
that are we addressing our prayers to B'aal unknowingly and expecting answers to our prayers
when we're calling out to our Heavenly Father but in our requests were actually calling out to B'aal to answer our prayers
So could it be the answer is No to our prayers additionally because we unfortunately
are calling upon the wrong deity??

And who is Gadreel in the Bible - that refers to sa-tan
So just some official terminology for your information that the 3 words GOD = Gad Gadreel and LORD = refers to B'aal....

Because I think that he knows we're not jewish, so why should he want us to call him by his jewish name?

@Jess @jessoladi I appreciate your effort for this video, but I think that your message also throws up a lot of questions.
For instance, What to do in the meantime when waiting for an answer on God, I mean other than "just believing"?
Because I'm convinced that there has to be more than that, or otherwise it can be wildly interpreted as "ghosting" towards us, wich is a seriouse act of emotional abuse, when being dependent on God!
I'm not presuming him of any bad intentions towards us, so don't get me wrong, but we still have to live our lifes in the meantime, you know?
I think he has to have very good reasons to let us wait on an answer, but I want to know what his reasons would be.
Because you can't do this to people to just not answering them. You'll just appear to be very arogant, right?
Look, I know that this sounds very hard right now, but you have to understand that I have been fooled seriously by demonic entities, multiple times... Confusion, disappointment, frustration, anger and so forth, where typical results of those encounters that I had. However, I have a very long story to tell here, so I'll try to keep it short and get right to the point:
I think that it is absolutelly crucial and inevitably worth mentioning that God will and can and does confort in this "meantime", otherwise you can't declare him as loving father!
A key point here that I have to mention is just telling people to simply trust him is in a practical sence not enough for people, who are right in the middle of trials and tribulations!
Maybe I can't speak for others here, but only for my self when I say that looking back on my experiences it was extremely crucial for me to actually understand what was going on and why things happened in a way! There was a lot of devastating confusion about what was of God and what of the devil to me! I actually needed to addapt in a way to make hard use of logic
(not while being under attack, but afterwards, when I was able to think strait again) to find explanations for what happened. It was all about uncompromising adaptation for raw survival of faith, because it was that hard! I mean I almost lost my faith, multiple times even, when not being able to keep up with understanding the enemies stratedies with hard use of logic, because
I experienced hell in a way and there was no easy way out!
Now listen: I'm good now, but it cost me! Also, I have to mention that those demonic tormenting attacks on me didn't stop untill I used the energy of pure, righteous anger to demand vengence from God against my enemies, every single day, for weeks! I demanded that all of them go to hell imediatelly and before their time, because there was really no other way to stop this constant spiritual bombardement on my soul and my life!
Now I'm gaining more freedom every day, but the scars still hurt!
I hope you understand now why I really want a stronger message to actually feel encouraged. I hope that you don't feel bothered with my story and the though language I have use here, because otherwise I wouldn't feel enough portrait. You don't need to feel obligated to respond here, but I really want you to know that there're people out there who actually experience imence ammounts of suffering throu pysical, or (like in my case) spiritual torture, for the name of Jesus! And it wouldn't be enough for them to be tould to "just believe", no offence!
The point is that over the years, in communication with Jesus, I found out that God has big plans for my life. Therefore demonic powers have tried their very best to stop me!
In a way I repeatedly felt led by the Holy Spirit to the story of Joseph, Jacobs son, from the Bible. I must admit that there are some unmistakeable similarities between his story and mine.
Now, out of principal I wouldn't make any promises here, because I got disappointed too often, so that I stopped believing in promises at some point.
However, I must say that I still belive in Gods promises, wich should be impossible, but understand that he was and quiet francly HAD to carry me throu, otherwise I wouldn't even have survived, but...
