omg that was way more emotional than I anticipated. I didn't realise how nostalgic I'd feel about seeing some of those old projects. I watched every single episode of this cluster, sometimes I'd watch a video whilst having breakfast or in the background whilst I painted, but also sometimes when I just needed an escape and I guess it meant more to me than I really thought. Thanks for everything Syn, here's to the future :')

This is deep it hits me hard realizing that my childhood is slowly fading, and the greatest memories I've had playing ark and being able to get off school to watch you play to create things of my wildest dreams, we love you syntac and Appreciate the hard work and determination you put in all the videos to make us enjoy and want us want to go back and enjoy the best moments of our lives. I started watching you when I was about 10 on my phone and my mom's laptop; and I'm really glad I did. I was bullied a lot when I was younger, but your vids always made me laugh and go "YOU CAN DO THAT!?!!"

ASE isn't ending. The official servers shut down and ASA will have the new official servers. That's it. The game of SE is still going to remain available and playable to everyone who owns it. Why does everyone keep saying SE's going away, or implying it's going away? Seriously! What fucking retard said it was going anywhere? Wildcard themselves even confirmed it's just the official servers shutting down.
Thank you Syntac for all the great memories. I have watched you since season 2 of gaming evolved and have loved every minute of it. Can't wait for ASA to come out so we can continue the Ark journey again

When I first started playing ark, I was under the impression that I was just bad at videogames. It was a misconception about myself that I held for a long time, and I allowed it to hold me back. But despite how brutally hard this game was for me, I also found it so fascinating. It was so unlike anything else that I had ever played, and played since, that it pushed me to want to keep playing. It made me want to keep trying through all the hardships a player can experience. Over the years I feel I've kind of had my own "hero's journey" with it. I had my mentors, I had my friends, I had my failures. I put my trust in people I shouldn't have, and payed the price for it, but came out stronger in the end. But I also found my perfect tribemate, someone who will stick with me through thick and thin, but also will push me to find my own strength and have faith in my own abilities. I found places to call my "ARK home", and many times lost them. I have had to start from scratch more times than I can count. I eventually found that I didn't need anyone else to carry me, I found that I had the strength and skill to do anything I wanted on my own, and it was by my choice that I included others on it. Because after all, it is rather lonely to go solo. By the time this whole crazy adventure was over, I truly felt like a hero. I respect this game for the lessons it taught me, and the strength it has brought me over the years. I hope that ARK survival Ascended can capture even a fraction of the awe that I felt way back then when I was so naïve. But whatever comes, I will be ready for it with more strength than I had back then.
I started the same, not being a big gamer with minecraft being the hardest game I had played before it ark was SUPER difficult to me, running away from diplodocus thinking I was gonna die, being jumped by raptors, I remember the time when I finally mustered the strength to take on a t-rex with a few ankys, a bow and arrow and some stone pillars to stand on to steal its aggro, It died really fast because it was only level 1 but that gave me the push to realize this game isnt as hard as it seems, you just need condfidence in yourself and your dinos, then I found a "high level" pteranodon and I liked flying, but the game felt so much worse after flyers, just grazing the sky to get everywhere with no fear of dying, I still have only beaten gamma bosses on mostly normal rates but I did almost beat or completely beat some of arks hardest mods, like primal fear, eternal, pugnacia, I even did pugnacia + eternal, then I went on to omega and never really played ark a little into omega, ark ascended supposedly wont have cryo balls and flyers wont be as relevant which gets me really excited for a more wander based survival adventure, truly tribal, I just hope my computer doesnt explode upon playing it... I had my own adventures discovering how to mutate and charging into battles with hundreds of dinos and pretty much mastering ark, so I hope ark ascended is truly amazing because I to havent found any other games that struck me the way ark does other than minecraft.. I hope you have a fun journey on ark ascended aswell :)

As a single player ark player, your videos helped so much with the knowledge of the tames and taming methods, ideas for building, how items can be used as well as being great entertainment. Seeing your island base again, i remember seeing your farm and wanting something like that haha. I really hope ASA will be the upgrade we all want and like. We need more!

I petty much stopped playing Ark about 4 or 5 months ago, which was bitter sweet. I went back to the island where I had been playing since day 1 beta and day 1 when they re-released. I have missed the game, but I saw little point in playing once I found out ASA wasn't just an update but basically a new game. This channel helped me so so much, and it's hard to see it end. I hope to see y'all on the other side!

@@Alte.KameradenYeah, but after ASA comes Ark 2, so by the time ASA is no longer new and interesting and is completely finished, Ark 2 will be the next big thing. Not many people are going to go back to ASE, and Syntac wont unless something changes clearly.
@@aaronburr956 ARK 2 was supposed to come out years ago. ASA was supposed to come out earlier this year. Still no screen shots, no trailers with footage of the actual games themselves.
Sorry but the Boy who cried wolf is kicking in. At least Mount & Blade Bannerlord 2 had gameplay trailer footage years before it finally came out despite the 'meme' of it never going to be released, which it did get released in the end.
ASA is basically just the same game, but with a graphical update and some mechanical tweaks. If you liked ARK, you will like ASA, because it is the same thing. @@Alte.Kameraden
@@s0515033 You don't know that... they've not presenting any proof really of that as of yet. We also don't know how well the game runs, how buggy it will be, system requirements, etc. We may not even look better, again we don't really know. As of right now I think they've only showed one supposed screen shot, of a raptor's face. That's it.
After years of BS, I'm going to be skeptic, I have zero reason not to be. I mean how man years and the Nerdy Glasses are still bugged on ASE as one of a gillion examples? Why should I have confidence? I mean when they gave the Raptor A TLC they bugged it's attack animation when moving, so it attacks far slower and janky when attacking on the move when someone rides it, again like everything else, never fixed.
Even Rockstar gives people more information than Wildcard has been giving..

Ark has been a big part of my life since watching Iballisticsquid’s original series in 2015 then discovering you in 2017 and then finally playing for the first time in 2020 after getting my first console for Christmas. It’s been a hell of a journey! Let’s see where this new one takes us!
I remember the end of the old cluster like it was yesterday, can't believe its been 3 years and ASE is coming to an end.
Getting to to watch this series grow for three years has been amazing and is the only reason I began to play Ark. It has brought me so much joy every time I saw a video come out never knowing what’s next and then seeing all these crazy cool ideas has just been so special. Really hoping Survival Ascended lives up to the hype so I can watch more amazing content* from Syntac.

Ark is definitely a special game. No other game has gave me the interesting experience that Ark has. I grew up with it and kinda sad to see it go.
Started out on official PVP back when the Chinese ruled over in the beta. Then the alpha of a server took me under his wing and showed me the ropes, and I got a lot better. Had spy missions on other official servers and got captured. Played modded primal/eternal servers and had a damn great time there and just playing with random people who most of the time you couldn't trust. Then after genesis I kind of stopped playing the PvP and just did my own ultimate ark playthrough, got all the way to extinction before I got a new computer and my extinction save deleted, started up again recently but I think I'll save that adventure for when ASA comes out.
What a nice send-off to the Cluster - I totally forgot how much I loved Atlas, it was great to see the base again! It's bittersweet to (potentially) say goodbye to A:SE, but I can't wait to see your videos on A:SA. I won't be able to get it myself right away, so I'll be living vicariously through your vids for a time. And the boys too, if they're uploading A:SA as well. Here's to a new start, a new Mystique, and new bugs to carry us forward! ✊
This is insane, I remember first finding your channel, and having to correct youtube on your name spelling, as you were only a couple thousand subscribers large, but still providing amazing content for a game I have loved since its beta. You taught me so much of this game, found so many firsts. Whenever I had a question or was just stumped I turned to your ark videos. When I wasnt able to buy scorched earth I experienced it through your vids. I know this isnt a goodbye but merely a transition, however the memories made will carry on forever. Even when I get a next gen Xbox I will always come back to ark survival evolved every once in a while because it’s the game that pretty much raised me, I started playing it in elementary school and now I’m in my final year of high school and I’m still playing it. I don’t doubt in my mind that I will continue playing this amazing game for years to come even after ark 2 comes out because it’s always going to be my favorite game.

Man this was so bittersweet. Been playing ark ever sense the center first came out 🥲 got me through a lot all throughout high school. From an abusive home to getting into ucla and playing ark and watching you every now and then. The memories with my life long friends playing this game. Thank you ark and thank you. I watched mystique’s debut video after school while I was in seventh grade. I’m now a freshman in college, it’s crazy how time flies. I’ve been watching this whole time and I can’t wait to see what comes next!

This episode was certainty bitter sweet. I came about scortched ultimate ark, and you definitely played a part in building my love for ark and the way we played. It was good to see all the old bases.

I started my Ark journey watching Sl1pg8r back in the days before console release. Watched him for several years all the way up until he got burnt out of ark and eventually youtube in general. Thank you for, in my mind, carrying the torch and leading the ark community to the finish line. I look forward to many more adventures with you in, hopefully, the best version of our favorite game. I've actually never played ARK, but for some reason have found comfort watching your videos, and I can say I've watched give or take every single one of your uploads (almost religiously) since 2017. Your style of videos are very unique and have just been a go-to for me for so long. Sad to see that the ARK SE chapter is closing, but am very excited and eager to see what you do with ARK SA

I may be late watching this, but it brought me to tears, ark is my favorite game ever and seeing someone enjoys the same game that I love, even with its bugs and glitches, and make amazing content with it has really helped me through some tough times. I’ve watched Syntac since a little before he started ultimate ark, and watching him for five years has really impacted me. But also seeing Syntac’s ase series come to an end for good made me so much more emotional than I expected. I’m sad to see it end, but I’m also happy that ark is improving.

The Atlas War Base on the Titanosaur really earned that top-ten slot. You were getting into the amazing detailing that you showed off in the Cabilus castle build.
Let's hope that more S+ and Castles'n'Keeps like structures are available for building targets...erm, bases with. Looking forward to Nova Jr, Mystique the Third and even ASA Winston. Eventually to be rejoined by NeuPoe, maybe Backpack Jr and the rest of the Syn-Ascended family.

I just found Syntac abou 6 months ago and man, I wish I could have been here sooner. It was making me emotional to see how much time and effort you put in and I could feel the emotion you had for these maps and these tames. Looking forward to ASA content.
Syntac, I hope you now you really did make a lot of our child hoods great. Sometimes coming home and seeing an amazing base video, or seeing a cool mutation stack. You never really now how much something means to to until it’s gone. Sometimes me and my brother would try to replicate some of the color mutations you got. It really made my life a better one. Over these past 8 years it was a pleasure to be able to watch you almost dainty videos.

every single time I play ARK I always think back to my first time playing it, its always so emotional for me because its one of my first games I ever enjoyed, and now that ASA is coming out I feel hope that the new creatures will be great on it, but no matter what we will always remember the veterens, such as yourself syntac, who brought joy into the community, I will always remember watching your videos when I was sick and not thinking about any negative thoughts, just watching. I love your videos so much and no matter what ARK will always be known as a flawless release
