i have been living in usa.nepal is unique to any other countries .all it needs is cleanliness in kathmandu valley .better waste management that’s it.and better economy so that people don’t have to sell themselves in foreign country
being a nepali, and a huge devotee of krishna, it made my day seeing you two so excited at the sight of 'krishna mandir' which is my favorite place here. its beautiful, miraculous, and so divine; feels like krishna himself resides there, and i'm sure he does. hare krishna.
I am from Nepal live in UK last 40 year. I have missed Nepal seeing your program. You are so dedicated. I appreciate it. You appreciation of Nepal. Thank you very much. Hope you go back and enjoy the life in there.
Nepal is one of the most underrated places in the world....... I've went there like 10 times and I never ever get bored of that place... And I am so Lucky I would say that I found your channel you guys are amazing and I am enjoying to be a new viewer of this channel
As a North Indian, I always had the desire of visiting Nepal. I have heard it’s a beautiful land steeped into spirituality and culture. Might visit it next year. Hinduism and Buddhism are like two faces of the same coin. They both complement each other. Both lead to Nirvana. Both of these religions have become intertwined together. Their philosophies, culture, stories complement each other. Sadhguru was bang on spot when he claimed that India is losing its spirituality. People in India nowadays are more concerned of getting a hefty pay package, living around the globe rather than focusing on the inner self. They wont even care if spirituality was to vanish from India. This is Kalyuga as mentioned by Krishna in the Bhagvad Gita. In the north, people are getting way to materialistic. Many people visit temples nowadays to make vlogs, have some selfies clicked for Instagram rather than absorb the positive energy of the place. As a guy who started to learn about India, spirituality and philosophy from childhood, it pains me to see the spiritual and cultural heritage of the country being bulldozed. There’s nothing wrong in caring about materialistic things. But one should also have some sense of duty of preserving an age old culture out of respect even if one does not believe in it. Having said that, Come what may, the spirituality of India will never vanish. God and nature takes care of it. I remember the Kedarnath floods (btw Kedarnath and Pashupatinath are related). The whole episode had divine fingerprints all over it. Uttarakhand (which is regarded as the land of the gods) was being corrupted by materialism. Big infra projects were being carried out disregarding the states cultural and spiritual heritage. The town of Kedarnath was being visited by people who would drink 🍺 and eat non vegetarian food in the holy town. Authorities knew about it, locals knew about it, but no one did anything. As a resident of the state of Uttarakhand (where Kedarnath is situated) I knew about it as well. The limit was crossed when the engineers building a dam, decided to relocate the holy Dhari Devi temple (dedicated to Shiva’s consort Durga). The temple is ancient, holy and regarded as the guardian of Kedarnath. Locals protested but in vain, they delayed the project by visiting the judicial courts but the final verdict came against them as the court cannot favour a religious temple over a billion dollar project. The divine plan unfolded when the temple got relocated. The day when the relocation got completed, rains started to pour in many areas of Uttarakhand state (including Kedarnath). It poured for days and days until tragedy struck at Kedarnath. The continuous rain had given rise to a temporary natural lake in the mountains behind Kedarnath. On the day of the tragedy, the waters broke the banks of the lake and came gushing down. A mammoth rock, came and stopped right behind Kedarnath temple. The rock was big enough to completely annihilate the temple structure. But in this case, it offered protection to the temple and the Shivalinga. The flood waters along with huge boulders swept the whole town of Kedarnath. No structure survived in the town except the temple and the Nandi bull statue outside of it. Very few people, mostly those within the temple premises survived, the rest didn’t. Dhari Devi( aka Durga) purged the town of its ills while protecting Shiva. After the episode, the people and the authorities were woken from their slumber. Devotees and authorities realised their mistake. They now take utmost care of the temple making sure that no alcohol or non vegetarian food is consumed within the town. It is Shiva who creates, he who destroys. He who will protect Dharma.
The Bishnu temple that you are trying to remember is called Budhanilkantha, one of my favourite hindu pilgrimage in Kathmandu. It takes around 30 mins approximately (depends on traffic flow) by taxi to reach there from Tribhuvan International Airport.
8:40 not so true, if someone says that from a city perspective then yes, but still in rural parts of india, people have immense spiritual depths. Sadhguru living in a city must ask himself why he tours America multiple times a year? Hare Krishna ❤🦚❤🦚❤🦚
