I was at that show that the footage was shot at! Was such a great show! I was scoping Olivia’s pedalboard the whole time so I’m stoked that you made this with her! 💜
YES she uses a Ghost Echo, my favorite!!! Love Version 1 but the silent switch on Version 2 was a great addition, But I still like the overall signal from the V1. I use the Ghost Echo with a Walrus either SOL or Fathom and it get deep in here!!
Interesting to hear her talk about trying to sound "way heavier" live than on record. I recently caught one of her sets and can affirm they rock much harder than on record.
Just wanna say her guitar is gorgeous. Love the cool contours it has. Reminds me of an Eastwood or something similar. Wish Fender did more like that. I'd get one, haha.
It's become fairly common, along with short delays and modulations, - where you can create WALLS of guitar from a single source, and can dramatically change how you play, and what you can do.
If you’re not using that space for a pedal might as well put the power supply on top. Makes it easier to store other stuff under the board while traveling and also gives easy access to check cables etc. not saying that’s why she does it but there are reasons to do it sometimes.
the smile when she hits the feedback is great
Always liked the Black Belles and really like the Olivia Jean solo stuff . Great sound. And cool board and guitar .
Sick tones and that guitar is lovely!

Ayyyy me too!!! Also nice St Vincent gtr! I just got one - it’s on the way, can’t wait to try it out

want... that... guitar... 😃
Seriously...that axe is super rad
Fender Maverick with a pink sparkleburst finish..nice.
Fender, release her guitar... please.
Awesome tones Olívia!!!!! Congrats from Brasil !!!! ✌🏻😍👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
thanks for watching!
That Fender Maverick is gorgeous 😯🤯🤩

Hers has a custom finish. She talks about it here: ruclips.net/video/i2ZWECT5Goo/видео.html 🙂
Wow that guitar is a real traffic stopper!
Interesting setup. I don't think I've ever seen a pedalboard with a reverb placed so early on in the signal chain
Charles Roberts watch more shoegaze.
Kevin Parker from Tame Impala puts his reverb very early as well
it pumps up the surfiness in the sound. Dead Kennedys do this as well as putting delay before distortion.
Charles Roberts I don’t think it’s set up that way. The way she has them on the board wouldn’t make sense based on the ins and outs jacks

if i could have one thing from this video it would be.. the eyeliner skills
Cool woman! Love her music. She rocks!!
loved this video, she's really cool !
You'd enjoy this one then, too! ruclips.net/video/xa0zG7KDGxw/видео.html 😀
her guitar is 🔥🔥🔥
That board looks like a lot of fun
Great video!!! Hug from Argentina
great tones!
That guitar RULES.
*Flerb!*
Never experienced "Flerb" huh? Those pants say otherwise 😋 Love her!
She totally strikes me as a Flerb girl...
The Flerb is the best part of the Holy Grail
What's the name of her bassist? I'm curious to know her pedalboard set up is.
Erica Salazar
What band is she in?
Olivia Jean. Her previous band was called The Black Belles.
Returning 20 pedals. Yep that's me. Same with amps.
Is she actually running reverb into drive? Interesting
Lots of people do that, especially shoegaze/indie players. Try it. Its awesome.
I have a earthquaker shirt from years ago, it was the only thing my dad ever gave me.
That guitar doesn't look like the easiest piece of furniture to solo on
Why did she put her power supply on the board?
If you’re not using that space for a pedal might as well put the power supply on top. Makes it easier to store other stuff under the board while traveling and also gives easy access to check cables etc. not saying that’s why she does it but there are reasons to do it sometimes.
Also, she mentions that she really likes the way it looks in the video...
@@ujnhunter - She says the same in the PG Rig Rundown video; She thinks that power supply looks cool and that's why it's also on top 🙂
reverb before dirt...she knows more than she lets on!!
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Dope fool
Yo, Olivia. Put your drive pedals in the loop of your boss noise suppressor. Thank me later 👍🏻
Maybe her 'pedal senai' can show her how to use the ns2.
Would she be able to feedback like she wants to with it setup that way?
@@ujnhunter - Good point! 🙂
I don't understand how everyone uses a noise suppressor the incorrect; way without using the loop.
@@ujnhunteryes, you turn it off.
No one uses flerb.
I love you
