I love my Unity Hot Button lol its a really cool upgrade from the Basic Tape Switch. I'm fine with the minimal amount of push on the momentary. I'd rather the like go on accidentally than not go on when I need it to.
Finally someone made a video on these. I got the modbutton but my only complaint was not having the option for constant on like the hotbutton. I don't think I'd use it that often, but it's just peace of mind for me to have that option for basically the exact reason you specified.
im a bit late, but they make a tail cap for surefire on their site that allows you to connect it to the button and it has a stay on mush on the tailcap itself
You could have used the hot button instead of the momentary switch on the 2nd upper. This would solve the issue unless both switches are plugged into the surefire. The look would be off but you'd have the best of both worlds.
I have a mod button and I'm not a fan of the flat profile. Was considering the hot button for the ergos of a 45 degree housing. Didn't know the mod button has a 45 degree housing as well. You just saved me like 70 bucks. Thanks. P.S. fat chicks need love too
Some have started to put flip sights on backwards to fit in front of a laser. Doesn't matter which way the sight faces as it will work. Nice comment to show you are clueless.
Good stuff. I've never tried the mod button but I have used some unity pads, along with alot of pads that come with lights and lasers. I like the idea of them and they are nice having everything inline, but all pads are finicky at best. I've broken 2, stripped screws on one and the fact is I like to "c" clamp my rifle very far foward. So when I need to use pads and buttons behind the laser, I'm changing my grip aswell. So last year I finally said fuck it, got rid of all the pads and went back to using the fire button on the laser and click cap on my light. Less things to fuck up and less movement for my support hand to get to what I need, and now much happier with the setup, no tellin how much money I've wasted tryin to find the perfect button or pad....
Sounds good. Luckily I haven’t had any issues with these particular switches but some have reported issues. I always say, run what you want as long as you have trained with it and know it blindfolded. Thanks for the comment.
Well, I was broke as a joke in my 20’s and early 30’s. Than after 7 years of trying, I finally landed the job I could have only dreamed of when I was younger. With that came lots and lots of forced OT along with voluntary OT. I don’t show much on YT when it comes to my firearms because I’m a little bit of a prepper that believes in OpSec but I do enjoy my shooting sports and having some nice range toys. That all being said, I’ve worked 32 of the last 48 hrs and the wife and kids would say my job is a curse. I wish I could own the stuff I have collected and work 40 hrs a week (or less) but that’s not the case. My grandfather use to tell me, you will be rich and you will be poor many times throughout life. Enjoy the things when you can.

Glad I could help. I too was wanting to see more info on these so I gave it a shot. Glad you liked it.

Awesome to hear. Fat chicks have cushion for the pushin inside and out lol.
Scalarworks front sight is on backwards.
1, no one really cares and it doesn’t matter.
2, I like it that way so it’s a flat faced surface for my hot button at the 12 o’clock position.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Lol I clicked off the video once I seen that.

@@Blankford777 So wtf is that dbal on the top then? Oh it is a laser.

@@URBANAMERICANTAC Absolutely brotha, stay safe out there and god bless from ole Carolina.
What kind of Connector do use to put in to light never use any Pressure Pads
what light mount do you have on the weapon in this video? The mount that's independent of the switch?
T-Rex Arms.
Would this be able to fit on a 3 slot picatinny rail or is it too big?
The hot button and mod button both would. That would be perfect for them.
Super skinny girls can have outies. I’d imagine fat chicks have belly buttons that look like a swimming pool.
Ah good to see another SRS in the wild. Endangered species
How do you afford this stuff lol!

Pick-a-teeeneh
I’m from Jersey. We call things what we want lol
When I connected my hot button my surefire flickers
Hmmmmm. That’s weird. Try removing the hot button lead and popping it back in.
Front sight is on backwards
It doesn’t matter, it’s on the way it worked for the mawl and button layout.
front sight is on backwards
1, doesn’t matter
2. It interfaced with the hot button and mawl better that way.
