that double voice part is real. theres a way to layer your voice like that but hes like the first person to layer it with such a low bass and higher tone.

@@sahaj366 A vocal fry is basically just when your vocal folds have relaxed to near the max they can (it gets poppy and creaky), but it can be used in order to achieve the subharmonic register. It’s this weird point where your vocal folds are vibrating at two separate frequencies (from what I’ve heard), which causes it to drop an octave. It’s due to them hitting less, and is a really nice technique in both singing and beatbox. Vibration bass uses the 2nd Subharmonic (an Octave and a Fifth down from the fundamental). However, to respond to your original question more in depth, vocal fry is still just produced in your chest voice, it’s just an extremely loose and relaxed technique without a lot of air. I hope that clears it up, and if not I’m happy to explain more :))

Beginning bass is called vibration bass. And the deep lip rolls at the end are hollow lip rolls, you get when you hollow out your throat. Its crazy hence all the suffering and literal flexing you can see in his neck.

@@games4061 Again, it may sound like one, but I highly doubt that's an actual 'liproll' If you try then its easy to replicate a similar sound as him on your non dominant lip side even if you can't do a liproll on that side Of all things in beatboxing, liproll is not something you just randomly get like that lol

Vibration bass is not really chest bass. Its more like throat bass combined with a nasal vibration or a false fold vibration or smthn

8:15 it’s a lip squeak. You trap air in your lip and squeeze it out. It’s a non-vocal sound so you can do it over your vocals.
