Finished storyboard animatic of "Lost!", one of my favourite songs from The Lightning Thief musical. I posted the roughs for these boards a few months ago, and now I've finally cleaned everything up. Enjoy the Percy Jackson chaos :)

I appreciate the subtly of when Grover said "Can't protect my only friends" he was leaning on a tree. Nice visual motif
I also loved the detail of Annabeth fiddling with her necklace. That was a nice touch 👍🏾
Plot twist: the squirrel didn't tell them the directions because it has a grudge against them because they almost hit it with the bus then insulted it.

AGHH THIS IS SO GOOD!!! THE DETAILS... THE MOVEMENT... And god, Grover holding onto the tree during "can't protect my only friends"... ouch, my feelings :((

0:31 annabeth is so happy as grover and percy are like: aaaaaaaaaaaah why is my life like this?!
this is the first pjo animatic i saw where annabeth is drawn like an excited and/or scared child instead of a serious stiff girl. this is so cute and refreshing!!

Completely serious my ribs started hurting when I laughed when I saw the squirrel's >:( face. You did such a great job with this one! I'm still so impressed with the turnaround of them walking away and then walking back to each other.

The fact we live in a world where Disney decided to do a rather bland live-action Percy Jackson adaptation instead of an animated series with musical-style songs in the vein of Rapunzel's Tangled Adventure... feels really unfair, man...
Always felt Percy Jackson would do better as an animated series really, all the monsters and powers in a series like that never really transfers well to live action.
makes me wish we lived in a world where animation was more associated with Fantasy and Sci Fi than with Kids' Media
I mean it makes sense considering how limitless the medium is

Okay but being serious, I love the use of your camera movements and the facial expresion of Anabeth, Grover and Percy its just so maziiing and expresive!!, I love the way you use the medium of animation like when they fall on top of the tree or the squirrel (so cute)!! THIS IS INCREDIBLE!!! I love all the little details, like the snake in the tree, Grover pocketing the flashlight when he talks to the squirrel, Percy covering his head with the backpack, and so so much more! Also, your art style is so lovely :D
Percy, this is why you shouldn’t insult animals. They can give you directions and possibly save you from monsters if needed

You must really love cartoons, because the direction, action and the comedic timing is just so perfect! The way you drew the characters, they look so youthful, most especially their expressions! This whole animatic made me giddy with glee! 💕💕💕

OH MY GODS! This storyboard is godlike! I would kill to have a complete fluid animation with this storyboard, the scenes, the character expressions, I can clearly imagine every scene and how the characters move and it has so much emotion! It's incredible!
