Mathew, thank you ever so much for your instructional videos. Your insight into what beginners (and not so 'beginners') need is amazing, your presentations are simple, clear and perfect. Your subscriber list is well deserved and I hope it keeps growing. Thank you once again.

I've always gone from light to dark without any tutorials before,so I was kind of doing it right but you really answered the fact that I do actually squint at it time to time the same as when I'm drawing and I never really knew why?But you've answered that for me! Thank you for the uploads I find them really interesting and they are great pieces of art.

Wow. Thank you. Clarity. Concise points. Clear instruction. This was the most helpful tutorial on understanding lights, midtones and darks and how to find them, and work through them in watercolor. I really appreciated it. Thanks!

excellent as always. A quick question: am I correct in assuming that after your first wet on wet wash dries, you're using wet on dry (for the mid values and darks).

Goodmorning Matthew and thank you for your lessons very helpful for me. About the values I understand that you can get the lightest values by using very diluite colors, then using less water on the next step (middle values) and even more less water in the last step (dark values). Is that so? Thank you.
