You sound really dismissive and condescending. Nasty "is ONLY a hit record because of x and z" is a simplification. Nasty is doing great because it's a fun, light-hearted song with great A liners and easy to dance to - that deserves its own merit too. Creating something that is catchy and can be referenced endlessly in social media is a great achievement that is NOT AS EASY as it might seem. Tinashe has a lot of songs that are deeper and more complex, I would have loved if those caught the same sucess; in the meantime, we can and should celebrate Nasty for what it is - an unpretentious banger that makes people feel good and have fun!
