Thank you for showing the breakdown of the different amenities and the actual jets in pool. It was a much more informative and helpful video than several I've seen. Keep up the great work!
I love the thermal suites! If I don’t have a room that includes the spa, I prepay online. It’s discounted and it ensures that I get a spot, since they limit how many people can get a package. It definitely makes the cruise better and the waterfall in the pool is a great way to self massage, also. On some ships, they offer essential oil scrubs that you can use in steam room. The last cruise I took was 21 days, and I got 3 refillable scrubs for about 28 dollars, but the price is different on different ships and in the past wasn’t refillable (maybe it’s different on other ships, too). I asked about scrubs on the first day on spa tour and purchase it through my tour guide. Anyway, I would use a whole jar in the steam room daily, and have it refilled on the way out. I was totally pampered! If they don’t provide scrubs, you can buy an Elemis scrub at the front desk of spa. If you do scrub in the steam room, make sure you use the water hose in there to clean up after yourself or bring in an extra towel.
We also loved the thermal spa and found it was a good price. Great tip to buy before you go and about the scrubs. That sounds amazing right about now. We are definitely going to ask about the scrub next time we go. Happy travels 🦩
We always get the thermal spa package. If you pre purchase before your cruise, it usually runs $220 for total trip. Having this peaceful space with views and thermal pool and sauna makes this well worth the price. BTW ... great review guys!
I always book a room with thermal access or pre pay for the week. It’s especially amazing when you’re having tea while laying on the warm stone and looking at Glacier Bay (Alaska). Of all cruises we’ve been on, the Thermal access on NCL is the best. Even when I book a massage, they seem to do a better job than other ships I’ve been on.
We went in November and spent quite a bit of time in there. We had nasty weather all week. Florida was in the 40’s. It was too windy to dock at the private Island. We had a spa suite so it was included in the price of the room.
As a Solo traveler I partied every evening and used the Thermal Spa each morning to recoup. Was also great to get away from kids on spring break and the crowds for awhile. I waited to tour before deciding and paid about $220 since it was only a 7 day cruise. I would have saved $20 before embarkation otherwise.
I have cruised on several different cruise lines and found that NCL Cruise Line takes care of the solo travelers, and is so far the best for solo travelers. I have been on 5 different NCL cruises utilizing the studio cabins. I always purchase the spa package online. Some of NCL's ships even have a snow room along with the steam room, etc.

Would have preferred the area together but enjoyed it just the same. If you purchase before boarding it is a little cheaper as well. The area was quiet which we loved & also had great views out of the front of the ship. Will be looking for a thermal area on any future cruise ship we sail.
