Machine details:
Justins machine is a 2019 Can-am X3 XRS. It is 72" wide and 172 horsepower. Suspension is setup to the fox tune. It is running 32x14x10 sticky Maxxis Roxxzilla tires. It has a Evo Powersports Shocker cat delete exhaust.
Billys machine is a 2017 yxz 1000r with graves exhaust, tune, 70/30 gytr gear reduction, heavy flywheel, 30" maxxis bighorn tires, 14x7 5+2 Method 401 wheels, weller tie rods, krash offroad cage, bumpers,
sliders, warn 3500lb winch, and simpson suspension seats.
Joshs rig is a 2017 yxz1000r with Super Atv 4" 30% Portals, graves exhaust, tune, 30" maxxis Roxxzilla tires, krash offroad cage, rear bumper, sliders, 70/30 gear reduction, and heavy flywheel.

Idk how many times people need to hear this but ride royal blue is a campground in the sunquist wma and owns no trails. The sand quarry is in the royal blue wma atleast you got that part right.

Well every machine has its service life and God knows you guys have used your rigs. But maybe you need to watch some of your own previous videos and remind yourself on how bad ass your YXZ’s were!
DUNE YXZ blown diffs, axles, clutches, motors, power steering issues, axle boots ripping, over heating every trip due to poor design, safe to say they’ve all had some flaws. Not saying it’s a bad machine just might not rule lol

DUNE YXZ all of this? No. It shouldn’t have over heating issues because the radiator is in front of the tires not behind. Axles, probably. Diff maybe, but at least there is built options out there for axles and diff. Engine I doubt. Not saying it’s bullet proof either, nothing is. I get it your a yxz fan so your gonna root for that. Just doesn’t fit our riding style that good, and that’s after building the machine purposely for rock crawling and hill climbs.
You are right...the outside shots make all the difference. I won't watch a death by go pro video. Great job guys and you did get me in the first 10 seconds of the video with the Billy and the blue rock crawler!
Quick question , are you required to wear a helmet on the trails here , we came down for the week an are hitting the trails tomorrow and was wandering if I had to bring the head gear with , thanks .
I believe it’s required under 18, but don’t quote me on that. I’d look at the Twra rules

Drop the air in your tires and u may have made it over the the first spot everyone got stuck at…tires work a lot better on rocks with low pressure

Yeah after this trip I sold the libertys and ordered 32 rockzilla. And just came back from windrock this weekend night and day difference.

Yeah they seem like a pretty stout rig but sometimes power is needed on hills and whatnot and it sure seems like the krx is lacking a bit. We’d love to try or have one or at least ride with one that’s for sure. Also kinda sucks to buy a first year of a rig
@@BlownBudgetOffroad i sharevyour concerns on buying a 1st year rig. But i ended up buying a 1st year x2 and it's been really good to me, the aftermarket for them sucks, but they starting to get shit out there atelast lol. As far krx power, i would bet a little clutch tuning would drastically change the power to the wheels. But no matter what rigs u guys rock the content is still fun to watch.
Also guys, the Brimstone white knuckle event is bringing down a KRX for demo rides for people that want to try it out.

Put portals on my canam maverick xmr 1000 with 32 carnivores. But last week a small rock got between the caliper and rim pushing a big hole in the rim 🙄😳😭😭

Great video keep up the good work YXZ's seem like good units but I think I will stick with my XX :) not sure it would do any better under the stress you guys put the units through but its great for trail ridding

@@BlownBudgetOffroad hey guys I am strictly a trail rider but LOVE my XX I have not had any issues but there are a few things to look for i am told i have just not had any of those problems like excessive grease in the engine or bad axles good luck
With all rock climbing one of you need to get Kawasaki krx 1000 its was designed to do the stuff you guys enjoy doing. Seen videos of it in moab all stock killing it.
What was the trail map you used? I am looking for one that I can use all over the US

Blown Budget Offroad you can go down if you straddle it just right it’s like a 8 foot hole every 10 feet lol... all the rain we had just messed it up.. if you want to really horse on the x3 and try to make it up it’ll be good video content for sure lol
We were at rrb end of last summer and damn sure videos don't do the Widowmaker justice to doing it in person

Me and josh are commercial electricians, billy is a heavy equipment operator. Personally I used to buy, fix up, and sell vehicles in the past plus my normal job to make extra cash which helped a lot too. But thanks man appreciate it
Also, easier for us to travel in the colder months because construction slows down and we have money saved up from working a lot in the summer so we’re able to take a couple big trips
Blown Budget Offroad I gotcha that’s awesome I live between windrock and brimstone and I can be at either one in about 20 min from the house. So I really like watching y’alls videos when you come out this way cause I recognize all the trails and what not

I am guessing you did not go all the way down WM to the bottom of pea gravel hill before you headed back up since you do not show it. Pea Gravel coming up is FAR harder than the part of WM at the top you show here. Can't wait to see the No Business vid.
No unfortunately the steering heim broke, that’s why we turned around where we did. No business is next though!
To do it properly you need to build your machine around portals. Not just buy portals and big tires. Gotta go heavy duty everything.
Good video guys, but I think you guys bypassed the worst spot of the widow maker at the bottom. There's a real rocky hill at the bottom you take up right that y's back into the top. That spot makes the top look like peas candy. Great vid though.
Just saw someone else’s comment about that. Bummer we thought that was the bottom and that’s where joshs steering broke so we decided to flip around and head back
Just watched another video with the bottom part in it. Honestly so bummed the portal breakage stopped us from hitting it .

The bottom is the best part for sure. It's got a really good section down there. Hooefully you guys can get the footage on the next one. We hit it two weekends ago and it was savage. No broken parts and all three machines made it with no winch lol. We're local and hit it all the time.

Last ride was 2019 turbo S on 34s, my brothers 2019 rzr xp turbo on 30s, and my 2109 turbo s 4 velocity on 34s. It's time to tackle all the Y trails at brimstone for us now too.

I have several helpful targeted apps that I can use on iOS, don’t really feel like investing in a whole new OS just for one app.
I understand their reluctance, but its hard to understand ignoring iOS because of a problem that several app creators have successfully bypassed!
Sell the app with platform wide useful minimal functionality, and add in app purchase for GPS enabled devices…let alone any iOS device that can use a fantastic standalone GPS puck.
101rotarypower I only switched to android on the tablet I’m running for gps and music in my rig. Haven’t had any issues but still have iOS for my phone.

Not sure we turned around at some point because of the broken steering. But we also didn’t film some stuff if it was easy

I would agree if you didn't go all the way down to the creek you didn't get the hard part. You can hit widow Maker from windrock no problem from the bottom up and hit the hard stuff at bottom
