  • Back in Tivoli to fix some failed gutter drains. Between the gutter saturating the ground near the house and the issues from the A/C lines run through the walls, this basement was set up to fail. We made quick work of it!

Another great job "As Usual" Clean, precise almost surgical.
I would recommend using the excavator to transport the jumping jack.
    Keep up the good work!

Thank you! The excavator does make easy work of moving the jumping jack!

Great video as usual, was curious why you didn't daylight the pipes out over the hill so you don't have to deal with the water on yard and mow around them or look at. Thanks

The client really didn’t mind them as is. You cant see the pipes from above and they should be set low enough below grade that the mower could go over them without issue.
We find that installing pipes in the lawn area helps to keep them clear of any debris since you mow/maintain around them. When they get daylighted into the woods, people often forget about them and they end up clogging. That seems to be our past experience.

1st most impressed w/the Dunkin’ Donuts. DD was mainly a northern shop BUT now we have them in the south. (Blairsville, Ga which, being from the north we are thrilled) . Next - what a nightmare. Glad you were able to figure out and correct. The original builder should pay for that . How do they sleep at night. I couldn’t. Tar and feather come to mind. You might have something with that new machine. Great job -again

There is another DD about 1/4 mile up the road from this new one!
The GC definitely did some shady work with the A/C lines and his massive concrete “repair”. Luckily we are not a subcontractor; we work directly for the client, so we can advise her on things like this. The new jumping jack is great!

Hope that contractor no longer works there. So many hacks around that should not be doing work , and it stinks cause it make people weary of the good guys. Nice job fixing the DIY guys work as always.

How do you like that (brown) shed/garage? I’ve been thinking of getting one myself, but wasn’t sure of the quality. Thanks for your input.

The Shelter Logic tent? Boy can I tell you all about those! We used them commercially for quite a number of years at our old yard. We had 2 of the large "Garage in a Box" versions, and several of the smaller carport versions.
If they sit in the sun, you get 2 years or less out of the tarp covering. The sun really beats them up. The zipper doors do not last very long either, especially with daily use. If you live where it snows, you will need to clear the snow from them. Branches and sticks can, and will fall on them and sometimes rip the tarp.
If you plan to use one as temporary storage, I fully recommend it! If you plan to use it as long term storage, I would save a little more for something like a tin building. Our eventual long term plan is to put up a full size shop building. The Shelter Logic tent in the video came with my house, so I am using it because it was free.

They had to build the Dunkin so the State workers would have a place to get coffee when they fix the bridge! Cant expect them to stand around empty handed! You should have piped in the Port a John into your drain system. That would have been funny!

You got a chuckle out of me on that one! Without a doubt, those state workers will be getting their fair share of that Dunkin!
