To be honest, this is the most hopeful timeline. It shows a world that learns to appreciate the real heroes of the past and people actively pursuing the chance to protect their world.
That's why I hope these are the canon future events.
TakeshiInazuma I think Dragon Ball Super might be able to explore that after the new arc. In chozetsu dynamic! We see Goku and vegeta walking and the portal behind them kind of looks like a portal from a parallel quest.
freeza's forces are already destroyed. So not canon. We can imagine the earth is even more peaceful without evil namekians or anything like that.
I mean, this was all before the resurrection F arc was even written, which showed that the Freeza Force was definitely still around and fighting to maintain control of the conquered planets... And Super DEFINITELY is canon, soooooooooo....
Freeza's Forces were destroyed for the most part but remnants of the army were scattered which would end up with someone bringing them together for one more effort to save the army.
How I imagine the conversation went down
Goku: Hey Geets!
Vegeta: What is it kakarot?
Goku: We're gettin pretty old now huh
Vegeta: And what of it?
Goku: wanna fight to the death in space!?

Gohan's Groundbreaking Science is one of my favourite facets of Dragon Ball, canon or not. It brings together his experiences as a fighter and as a scientist and justifies both parts of his life in a manner that changes humanity for the better.

Exactly. It's a great conclusion to Gohan's character arc and it's great for setting up future story arcs that don't exclusively revolve around Goku and co. Honestly it's a perfect device for storytelling in a Dragon Ball setting because one thing I always felt that Dragon Ball did wrong is that they focused too much on Goku and the saiyans when there are so many other interesting characters with their own unique personalities and fighting styles that could've been explored but weren't, and introducing Ki-control to the global population is an excellent way to fix that problem by allowing anyone to be the hero for a change instead of just having to rely on Goku or whatever.
@@Da_Swifta yeah, i honestly want the anime to just get past the end of z and adapt the events of online while including other recent things like 21 and the demon realm arc from heroes as i felt that those events combined alongside bringing back characters from the original to create a cool conclusion for dragon ball.

Toriyama actually talks about it in an interview with Masako Nozawa and Takao Koyama. It's something that he he has personally done many times, however didn't have Goku say it much in the manga until after he noticed Nozawa doing it in the anime, as he made an effort to bring it out more after that. I suppose you could say that both Goku and Toriyama have a "well, whatever" attitude.
Goku's thing is actually "Well, its Goku~!"

If they do just one thing from this in super I hope it is Gohan writing the book on Ki-control, not only would that open up so many opportunities for amazing new characters considering the very diverse population of this earth (not all the humanoids are human) but I would so love to see the scene where Gohan presents the book to Goku to give his opinion. I can picture him being hesitant and bored to read it but he does for Gohan's sake and then something catches his eye in the script. He then sits down in place and reads the book in it's entirety, not responding to anyone's attempts to grab his attention. At the end of it, Goku has learned a more immersive knowledge of ki-control and how each different emotion can benefit it and becomes an even better warrior.
Problem is, Goku left Earth for good several years earlier, and was never seen again.

Easy fix: Maybe Gohan shows Goku an early draft. It could still peak Goku's interest and could help enforce Goku and Vegeta's decision for their final fight since they know Earth will be protected even after they're gone?
One thing you missed, Masako.
Age 851, Mira and his soldiers destroys New Namek, using a Spirit Bomb, which is why there are Namekians on Earth in the first place.
He also left out Age 2000 where Miira took over Earth.
why did they have to use a spirit bomb to do it. And how could evil people even use the spirit bomb
GadGades Who knows? I mean, Cell said that he was able to use the Spirit Bomb, even if he never used it.
And Mira's basically just a demonic Cell, with the dna of various fighters.
It was an evil version os Spirit Bomb.
Last I checked, Mira attacked New Namek in 851, but he didn't destroy it until 853.
You left out a few details like how the reason the Pan Fighting Network started is because the mob were impressed of how she managed to kick their asses. And also can't forget the hilarious fact that the Freeza Force remnants actually though Mr. Satan was truly the strongest on Earth and waited until he died to invade.

Don't get me wrong their fights were amazing but in the first one Goku had help and in the second Goku didn't use his full strength (ssj3)
Also Goku was dead and could use more ki and Vegeta was stronger in his Majin form so it's not a normal fight

I'm sure after that battle, Goku and Vegeta both survived. They only just wanted to battle one more time before they get old and have to settle down. I mean, acknowledge the official Akira Toriyama art of old Goku. You can't say that that's not canon. I would assume that Goku and Vegeta, after reaching 80 years old, I decided okay let's let bygones be bygones and settle down. Too damn old to kick your ass anyway homie!

But I like that at the peak of their power, they fight once and for all to decide who is the strongest.
Its a kinda bittersweet ending.
And they can also continue to fight and grow stronger in otherworld, without having to worry about stamina and sleeping.
I love the extended timeline, and by picking and placing dates on it to explore in both the online and xenoverse, as well as the timeline given by xenoverse(s) I find that it really puts into perspective the longevity of the series. Even after Goku and Vegeta are gone, and their allies are there to keep protecting the things they love, there will always be dragon ball.
I just love how Vegeta and Goku chooses to end their lives.

I like the idea of Goku and Vegeta fighting again and Goten and Trunks plus Tien and Krillin have put up martial arts schools...
Nice to think that someday, lots of people will be referring to them as Master Goten, Master Trunks, Master Krillin and so on.
Real fans love both Canon and non-Canon aspects of a fandom. If you're so obsessed with "Canon" then don't ever reference the original DBZ, you can only reference DBZ Kai as that gets rid of non-Canon filler.

Isn't the happiest future, but is surprisingly organic while producing new facets. It's satisfying to see the other Z-Warriors do things, and this period is a great way for Earth to become space-worthy like many other planets!
It is much more in keeping with Dragon Ball than Super is. Whereas Dragon Ball Super captialises on what made Dragon Ball great in the past, Dragon Ball Online draws on the past creating it's own organic story. As an example of what I mean, just think of Planet Namek, if it were up to you the commenter, would you rather explore Namek once more or explore the homeworld of Beerus?

As far as I'm concerned, official stories that don't necessarily contradict "Canon" are considered semi-canon and relevant to the discussions.
Huh, you learn something new every day..... I didn't know Saiyans aged rapidly after age 80. I thought since they stayed in their prime longer than humans, that they'd age slower and would have a longer life span because of that. The things you learn.
lol, the way saiyan's age is probably the most desirable thing they have for me.
To be able to go out and keep growing even while in your 70s, putting to use all your experience, would be so nice, along without having to constantly worry about missing my shot because I'm aging.
Plus, its a nice work around for goku and vegeta aging but also to make sure that they'll live for as long as their family does.
Its also important to note that through out the many years the saiyan genes have spread to a good portion of the human race which explains why some humans can ask Shenron to unlock their genetic potential to turn super saiyan, which is only possible in the game through a wish.
Listen to me, Dragon Ball will not... no CANNOT end until Goku and Vegeta go on an all out battle. I mean a planet destroying battle!
Bro when you and Geekdom101 do these kind of 'non cannon'/filler/video game stuff, I LOVE it because I'm sure we all know the ins and outs of the main storyline and manga.
Sometimes the video games are more interesting than the main storyline...*shots fired*....heck even though the power scaling makes 0 sense of the DB Heroes series, I love the animated cutscenes Japan releases with each new mission :)

This was pretty interesting! Imagine if this time line was updated with the inclusion of Super. Maybe Beerus kicked the "bucket later on" and we have a new God of Destruction. We can venture other universes (or what is left).We can collect the Super Dragonballs to achieve Godly status or do task for Whis so he could trian you. The many possibilities!
The Dragon Balls that you ,the player ,collect in the game are actually much less powerful but also more plentiful than the originals. Dende created them for young warriors to collect as part of their journey, so it would make sense that they could only be activated at the Dragon Altar to further reinforce the idea that you too can come so far. That, or maybe they need godly energy from the altar in order for Dende to power/approve the wish.
Man, this all sounds so cool. Really wish they'd released it here in the states. They should really set Xenoverse 3 during that time period instead of just doing more time travel.
Robo9400 Yeah, Masako said something about that in a previous video. I'm definitely keeping an eye on it for sure.
There is another that started development first as well. Dragon Ball Online: Revelations. They started as soon as the official game ended, but are a little slower with it's release. The DBO Global came out a year later, and produced Alphas, and Betas. A difference is that Global is getting paid(I BELIEVE), while Revelations isn't.
Oh no no.. I mean the staff making making the private server is getting paid to do so, and they work everyday, while DBO Revelations, work when they are able to, I hear one of their staff was in the hospital a lot. I also see they put in a lot of progress themselves as well, they just don't have a beta.
I just wish Xenoverse didn't halfass the use of Online's story. The whole 'main character comes from Age 1000' thing is perfect. I get they wanted fans to be able to headcanon any backstory for their OC's but for real fan stories suck ass. I want people to be forced to build off a good foundation instead of just leaving it open for every idea ever. Our XV characters are awfully Mary Sue because of this, we need SOME structure to the story here.
XV2 at least lets us join the TP from unspecified origins instead of making up some IMPOSSIBLE idea that Trunks could just wish vaguely for a warrior and poof you appear, but still, give us something to work off of so we have a good story without the use of headcanon that we can then headcanon details for to make it better, not a story that sucks because we have to fill in the blanks to make it any good.
My point: XV should have always had it set at that time. Unless XV3 retcons out the characters of the first two, setting it during that time would still be great... But what would even be the point now? They could have your third character come from that time and basically be the DBO character but like... TP already has two oh so great heroes, one was just WISHED from the dragon balls like that's a thing... Unless they like retroactively add to the story, go "okay we don't need you guys right now so you can go home to your time" and let the XV1 and 2 (or just 2 if they insist that 1's was created by the dragon balls instead of having been pulled from a vague point in time) and reveal that said character was from Age 1000 all along and just so happens that's where Towa and Mira are, leading them and that time into the plot? But then we'd have to assume Dimps would want to do more good story structure for the character instead of leaving it needlessly open.
Love the games to death in every other aspect, just wish the story followed through and just used more Online assets.
Same here, but I think it would be interesting to wait until enough time passes for Super to create enough story development for xenoverse to make a new story. Also using your character from the second xenoverse , because the enemies would be stroger.
I seem to remember Roshi being immune to death by age. Did someone off him? Died during all the evil forces attacking? Is he still around and now there's the new turtle school and the old turtle school as separate things?
nope roshi is still alive in age 1000
Roshi is alive, but he's a hermit, so he tends to not interact with anyone. Krillin starting the (New) Turtle School allows for his teachings to continue, without him having to do anything.

Well, Pinich seems to be unable to become super saiyan despite to being one and mentions that he studied on Satan school. So probably Pinich comes before DBO (that would explain his tail)
unlikely since something he forgot to mention was that sometime before the events of the game dende limited the power of the dragon balls by creating more sets of earth dragon balls.

No, he can't at first he needed an very hard ass whooping from Vegeta, and become mad at see his rival being defeated to being able to get ssj. Where Goten and Trunks can go without any problem. That is even a plot point.
Officially, Fusion's main character goes by the name Tekka.

I love this timeline i wish they focus more on the later stuff after age 1000. It's like they can reboot the series with fresh material.
I always enjoyed seeing dbo things. since it is based in the future of the DB timeline it has a possibility to actually happen in DBS from my point of view.
Masako, you forgot one important thing: The reason there were Namekian colonists on Earth in the first place was because in Age 853, Mira blew up New Namek with a Spirit Bomb.
Now that Toriyama has sadly passed away, it's unclear about whether he left post End of Z stories for DBS
I hope Toyotarou and the anime staff adapt Neko Majin and the story of Dragonball Online.

Woah I'm early. I was always curious about different timelines in the Dragon Ball series. For me there is the NonCanon (Movie/Filler) Timeline, The Original/Kai (The Manga to Anime) Timeline, The Altered (Future Trunks) Timeline, and now the Online Timeline. Not sure if I should be a GT Timeline.
5:50 i thought it was one MASSIVE supernova to symbolize their final clash, which i like imaging as a Full power final flash vs Full power kamehameha...
I remember the first time I saw the Dragon Ball online trailer of few years ago and thinking to myself who in the world is that main character? What's his back story? Who's the namik he's fighting? then after doing my research I got more and more excited, even though I knew I would never be able to play this game. then after Xenoverse came out I was overjoyed with all the similarities to Dragon Ball online. I know that this is a game but the overall plots and its originality could be a great extension to the series. I mean why not it takes place years after the original story it happens years it just makes sense to me.

I love the Dragon Ball Online Timeline and I consider it Cannon it's just is in another Timeline\Universe.
TL;DR I think Toriyama and associated developing entities fell away from DBO because they foresaw that the game engine would not stand the test of time. Toriyama wants his product to live on past himself, which is why projects like Xenoverse and Xenoverse 2 took priority. Case in point, Dragon Ball Fighter Z, where the game engine is the closest thing to the true show animation that we have seen so far. My hope is that we see a Xenoverse 3 in this engine. Or more so, another DBO variant in line with Toriyama's vision, a game that stands the test of time for future hardware.

The world demands a movie, an OVA, a trailer or just a glimpse on the last Goku versus Vegeta battle. I would not mind Super to go on forever and do its own version of some of these events.

I absolutely love this timeline, and i have even created an oc for this. His name is Vocado, and he is a descendent of Broly from the Dragon Ball Super who trains at the New Crane school.
So Earth in the future gets Earthlings who can control Ki gets Namekians on earth and a majin race ? Man Earth sounds like it can protect its self a lot better !

These timeline discussions are great for those of us who are not gamers. I find they give me another way to enjoy the Dragon Ball Universe. Just thinking about the Majin Buu story makes me happy. A perfect ending for my favorite DB character.

Its thanks to this video and the buu one that I found out about dragon ball online. My only exposure to dragon ball was only dragon ball z abriged and a few dragon ball super episodes I mostly forgot about. Despite this and how I've grown out of dragon ball stuff, I enjoy dragon ball global a lot. So much in fact that I enjoy it than any games ive played before finding it out. Thank you. (It also reminds me of a certain Chinese plants vs zombies mmo that sadly closed but thanks to a friend of mine, ive got the launcher for the game and in hoping that it could help in a private server being held up like dbog)

Everything sounds so cool! It makes me wonder if they will make anime of these events or just leave them for video games. It's cool either way, although I do love creating a character and actually getting involved with the DB world.

I hope Yamcha helped Krillin with that Turtle Hermit School. With Goku dead, Krillin and Yamcha are the last Turtle School students alive (unless Ox King is somehow alive too, but he apparently doesn't fight at all anymore). Same for Chaozu helping Tenshinhan.
Don't forget Chi-chi, she is a turtle hermit school student too.

Also you can cover the differences between Miira and Towa from Xenoverse and DBO? In Xenoverse seems that they don't like that much, but in Online (and Fusions) Miira is the king of the underworld and is married with Towa., in DBO they have a kid also, named "Fu".
You forgot the part where something caused all humans to have a little bit of Saiyan DNA in them which is why humans can unlock a super saiyan form through the dragon balls in DBO. At least as far as I remember.
We really need some media involving Goku and Vegeta's final fight, just two ageing warrior's going at it creating supernova's just to determine who is truly number 1

Xenoverse and DB Online are two separate timelines. In Xenoverse Mira is created by Towa, where in DB Online they are both demons from the demon world/realm and are husband and wife. Not sure if this video came out before or after Xenoverse 2, but Xenoverse 2 confirmed that Xenoverse is it's own timeline separate from DB Online.
