They’re really sneaky, they love the sneaky stuff and then they just… they just wrote about it, so it just came out in the paper. So I didn’t really have much to say in it, but it was fine for me ’cos I’m… I think I’m lucky, because I was in a position with such loving fans, telling me every day that I’m loved and I already have this blanket of trust and love around me from all of you people and so it’s easy for me. I was in a lucky position and my parents are really understanding and they just want all of their daugthers to be happy. I’m one of the lucky ones. If only everyone's family was as accepting as Aurora speaks of hers being... This is how it should be.

I love her word choices. >_< She's hyper smart.....but despite having an incredible grasp on English, it will always be her second language. And so....she often comes up with these adorable and/or wise idiosyncratic turns of phrase that I just adore.
She is true to herself, a truly special person.

And I think a lot of that comes down to how intelligent and accepting her parents clearly were/are. They allowed her to thrive and unfold into the incredible human being she is now. It's sad to think of how many people never got that chance at self actualization, despite having the unrealized potential to do so.
It's funny how a "sneaky" newspaper can break an 'earth shattering' personal story and then an interview like this can show just how meaningless it all was ...
I thought her coming out was actually in her songs. For me, the songs "Soft Universe" and "Exist for love" were indicative (although an article in the newspaper could have come out earlier than these songs, I don't know). It's not my business, it's her personal business, but it seems so wonderful to me that Aurora loves everything in the world and feels the world so subtly. I am grateful to the Universe for giving her to us 💙✨

I don’t know I guess when it’s about being bi there’s an interview of someone doing a tarot reading with her where she mentions it if I remember correctly 🤷♀️

I don't know what kind of coming out this is supposed to be! For me it doesn't matter, your lyrics give many possibilities, for everyone. Psyche, sexual, illness, or whatever. as long as she stays with us, it's her business (privately). whoever thinks they look bad is out of luck. her songs are so full of acceptance that a van will always respect her. At least I see it like that. _ ich weis nicht was für ein Coming-out das sein soll ! Für mich spielt es keine rolle, ihre texte geben viele möglichkeiten, für jeden. Psyche, Sexuell, Krankheit,oder was auch immer. solange sie uns erhalten bleibt geht es nur sie etwas an (privat). wer meint sie schlecht dastehen zu lassen, hat pech. ihre lieder sind so voll mit Akzeptanz, das ein van sie immer respektieren wird. zumindest sehe ich das so.

She did "come out" in an article to "The Independent" (UK) on Sep 12th 2018. It was about the release of "Infections Of A Different Kind" and when they asked about "Queendom" she said:
"I’m really passionate about it. Right now I have a boyfriend who’s a very "manly" man, and has more beard than anyone I’ve ever seen. But I had a girlfriend before that, who I was with for a year. I just like to enjoy what is there, and I like to explore. Just love everything around you and you’re loving yourself."
The Norwegian newspaper VG wrote an article on Sep 26th 2018 called "Aurora chooses lovers of both sexes" linking to The Independent article but only talking about that and nothing else in that much longer Independent article.
In a better world VG would ask first before posting that article, but I hope Aurora did not expect it to remain "secret" once it is out in a major newspaper.
I do not know if Aurora meant this VG article, maybe other Norwegian papers also posted it.
