- A lot can be learned by drawing from props. The object doesn't need to be complicated to be a great learning experience. I used a ceramic bird to focus on important elements of art: Line, Form and Shadow.

this is lovely. very true about shadow shapes. never thought to draw props though in semi-top view. Love the final pieces!

Thanks for sharing at least your results. In my oppinion It's a pitti not seeing more of your drawing and coloringprocess. And how managed you to make the shadow of the birds you gave feets on, but in reality they donot exist ?
