Ok the episode where Wally yelled at Barry for the speed force made me so mad bc Wally showed up in season 2 then left and comes back in season 6 and the first thing he does is yell at Barry. Like Wally, you weren't even there. You've been gone for 4 years (if every season is a year) and don't know anything about what Barry's been through. Wally just makes me so mad sometimes because he's never there and then wants to yell at people, like when you're with them for more than a season/episode at a time, then you can say your piece of mind
Most people say that “Flash hasn’t gone through pain, Arrow is the only one who has.” But then, you really look at his life. 11 - Mom died, dad sent to prison He got struck by lightning, and sent into a coma. The man who killed his mother lied to him. The man who killed his mother killed one of his friends. Zoom killed his father. He basically had to kill his parents again. Savitar almost killed Iris, and he technically did have to deal with that, H.R died. He was put through decades of torture experiencing his most painful moments of his life. He was sent to jail. His friend had their body taken over. His daughter was killed by the man who killed his mother. The whole universe ended. Oliver died. The speed force died. And there are so much more losses too. And now, this season is really making Barry feel all the anger, sadness, and guilt he felt. And now, he can’t even lean on Iris, because she was taken over by Mirror Master. This video really makes you realize that.
This season has finally given Barry the character growth he's needed. People will probably miss the old Barry that was quirky and shy but after this much loss, it's only natural he takes action to protect his family like he's doing this season
this is ONE of the reasons why he’s the best superhero aside from having cool powers his past is worse than most of the heroes out there for example batman has always been mad about it but barry moves on even after suffering way worse
