I have swung both of those bats. I love them both. Big boy wood. The Yelich bat is surprisingly heavy, but solid. Great pop and super hard wood. Sam Bats can compete with any wood bat out there!

So glad the Sam bat made it through...I swing the Sambat 2K1 (Bonds model) and it is dynamic against off speed pitching....it's a little too heavy for me (or I'm way too old) against decent velocity, but kills the "thumbers". Have hit some absolute nukes with it off hanging breaking balls!!!

Had to watch a little later than wanted, but man. I gotta say the SG2 is a wonderful bat when I used it for BP and weight training. If you get rung up, ouch my hands but it was so enjoyable. I really did think the Yelich was going to take it maybe not being as heavy. But that's awesome. Glad this has been such a good comparison and I'm happy to see the not so mainstream woods today vs the main stream ones going forward haha. GO PROXR FOR ROUND 4!!!!

I was wondering if you could answer a honest question for me. I'm having to buy a bat for my son for high school ball. Of course they have to use BBCor and I was wondering what your opinion is on the best BBBor bat. Everything you see on google is the Louisville Meta is the best BBCor bat on the market. But to watch some of your videos it doesn't seem like that is the case. He hasn't hit any homeruns yet, but he is a power hitter. He just hasn't perfected swing enough yet to quite get it there yet, but has been very close. But he hits the ball super hard so it's only a matter of time. In your opinion what is hands down the best BBCor bat on the market right now honestly?

Not really,both great bats but it’s something about Sam bats they are so durable and great quality wood,my Sam bat got mad hits and hardly any marks on the barrel,used a trout n Tatis they both are indented and all marked up from the seems
