I really appreciate this video. I'm making 16 skeleton (stretch nylon) costumes, front and back with a white base and neon on top. I was sold plastisol inks and the nylon bonding agent. I realize now that I need to add more. But since I'm doing all of this by hand, with a 4-color/1 station and flash heater in my living room, it's the flash temp that worries me the most. Any suggestions as to when to know it's ready, other than dry to the touch. Any specific temps, especially since I don't have a conveyor at my disposal?

Awesome! Use a regular ink degrader such as Press Wash or Sgreen Supreme Wash. Check out our cleaning chemicals here... scrnprntl.ink/Chemicals

Can I mix this with reflective plastisol ink

While it is NOT recommended to mix down your reflective ink - you want the ink to both drive into the fabric and pull away from the reflective beads so the beads reflect properly. If needed, you can mix in any clear ink, including stretch.
Please work to drive the ink into the fabric so the beads can stay on top and reflect light properly.

Will this work with water-based inks?

Hi! If you are looking to add stretch to your water base prints, we recommend using Stretch Core.

Does anyone know what chemical component is added to these plastisols to make them more elastic? I understand that plastisols are made of PVC and plasticizer along with other additives, but does anyone know what that additive is? I'm doing an experiment and I need to achieve an elastic/flexible texture, I understand that there are less flexible plastisols, which means that there is something extra in their components that can be increased to improve flexibility, please help TuT.

Hi there! To increase the stretch of a plastisol ink , you'll need to add FN Stretch. Please see our recommendations for use on our site and give us a call anytime during business hours for further dialog on these inks! www.screenprinting.com/products/fn-ink-stretch

Can I mix ink with puff ???

Hi! yes, you can use the FN Stretch with the FN Puff. The most common use is adding 5-10% stretch by weight into your mixes when you go up to 20% puff.
