I love Baekhyun and Kyungsoo’s voices together. Baekhyun’s emotion in his voice live is next level, his adlibs with Kyungsoo’s gorgeous tone that just melts me when I hear it. Love them and this song!
IDK if anyone mentioned it in the livestream or not, but this song is particularly beloved by EXO-Ls. It's the kinda warning signal at EXO concerts that the show is about to begin~ When you walk in, they'll be typically playing various EXO songs over the speakers, but when you hear Moonlight that's the cue to get your butt in your seat, turn on your lightstick, and sing along. After Moonlight finishes, the concert starts~~~ This is actually a kinda tweaked version of the original choreo, with the rizz actually subdued slightly, especially towards the end^.^ Luhan and Chen got to perform their version a few times, but in particular they got to do it on one of EXO's appearances on the Chinese variety show Happy Camp. I really hope you two will watch those episodes someday!~
MOONLIGHT is definitely one of my fave EXO tracks!! When MOONLIGHT starts playing just before any EXO concert or fan meet it excitedly alerts EXO-Ls who begin to roar loudly in anticipation!
I remember anxiously waiting for this concert tour (not that I was going), so while I like Moonlight, I have a nostalgic kind of love for the live performance. I know Baekhyun struggled early on. He (and Chen) were trainees for only 11 months, four of them as EXO, so they had a lot of catching up to do. But even though Baek lost confidence in his singing for a while I remember him saying that he did feel satisfied with the amount of emotion he could convey.
Baekhyun is famous for his charismatic appearance on stage, so even when he is not actually singing, he is often seen standing as a duo with Kai. When caught on camera alongside Kai in EXO, no one has to look dull, and that's Baekhyun. He is very energetic. So, if you look at it, even though he is the main vocalist, he is good at dancing, but he often stands in the center and also plays the role of leading EXO.
Moonlight is one of my favorite EXO of all time... esp for us EXOL... hearing this make me miss the old concert day... when we heard Moonlight, we know the concert is starting... also the vocals of Baeksoo is crazy good here... imagine this was their 1st concert... they did perfect live
Yep, Baekhyun loves sining live to his Eris. They all like performing, but I agree, there is something about Baekhyun and Kai that seems to go deeper. With all of EXO live, it never feels like they are doing a job. They leave their hearts and souls on the stage.
