Umean not the hardest I still am going through it because I started at 2021 and I didn't think I should get the year one pass for AG one and two I'm on the holt but it's reckless how I've been playing "doom eternal" for a hole year!

The final boss was a bitch but I really loved the arenas in this level. I’m super glad the DLC leaned hard into the increased mobility because half the fun of this game is floating like a butterfly with a double barrel shotgun

Fun fact, by clearing an arena, spirits die without interference. Might make the smaller arenas or arenas with less enemies more fluid to do that.

While it’s still easier to follow your example than a normal pc player, I have to use a weapon wheel (and you’re literally the only great doom eternal console player I know lol)

@@AngunMorten090 i know ive seen all his vidoes, he's really good.. but the weapon wheel is slow so Im agreeing with the OP that there is an advantage to playing on pc where you can bypass that animation even with controller

Hot damn. I just completed TAG1 on Nightmare on Xbox One. That was the most stressed I've ever been in a video game. That final Samur fight is mental.

I have never played this game but I like to watch these videos where these insanely skilled players just casually walk through any difficulty. I get the impression that those smaller than an SUV enemies are not even an issue. They just get destroyed coincidentally in the process of ploughing through those bigger chaps.

@@attilaschweininger6867 Not really, it's just that the firsts walkthrough that came out was really bad. It seems that the person didn't even played Doom before trying this DLC. It was boring to watch. In other hand SmvR made a fantastic and dinamic walkthrough.

am i just a bad player? i never can stay in the air like SmvR is when fighting the powered hell knight and mancubus. i die so quickly and am on Hurt Me Plenty. i admit i'm rusty at the game, but i feel like its just way too hard
I knew you would show me a better path and that in hindsight it would be obvious.
I had the hardest time with Samur because I kept pointlessly killing the eyeballs and even the blood angels at first.
I thought you were supposed to.
Now I see you can just evade them. That will make this fight 35x easier

This games questions my skill level time and time again
That damn slayer gate...insane. I managed to survive up to the marauder, and had a good six or seven hits on it, but got killed by the damn dog. Let's see...three archviles, followed by three blood makyrs, followed by three doom hunters. I gave up.
Tip for doom eternal so if your playing the campaign or ancient gods here is a little trick to help so if you go to mission select and play the mission again with cheats or no cheats it’s up to you get extra lives all the the extra lives you get will go on your campaign on the regular game but for ancient gods you need to complete the first level and get those extra lives after I hope this helps you with the marauders and the boss at the end of the dlc and campaign

This game is becoming like StarCraft with macromanaging and micromanaging. Playing with mouse and a keyboard and I had to adjust my way of playing this game. My main guns are the right half of the weapon wheel. From combat shotgun to plasma rifle and left wheel for super heavies. My runes are fast glory kills, faster recharge weapon mod, and slowdown time when jumping. DLC Rune: blood punch or the one where you shoot enemy weak points for explosion. This game is brutal even on second difficulty.

I quit after that one room where the pillars got electrified and the game spawned a spirit amped hell knight
Fun Fact: Cyber Mancubus can be killed with two blood punches while the normal one needs more blood punches (i figured this out myself)
That arena just after the jellyfish jump is where I'm stuck, for the life of me I cannot get through, it's great practising though, one day .... One day.

That was the worst arena in the whole game imo! Even SMvR seemed to lose a little momentum. What helped me was just to run a big circle around the arena taking out one enemy at a time. It’s just a poorly designed arena. Keep at it💪🏼
@@YEYGAHH ohhh finally made it through, after playing 2/3rds of tag2 I came back to it, after 5 or 6 attempts finally got it, phew I agree it's a poorly designed level, but fun nontheless, got to the double marauder fight now, later on in that level so looking forward to getting back to it when I get time.

@SmvR I heard people are complaining about quick switching on Consoles, I'm a PC player but I'm curious about your bindings on controller, could you type it?
Controller layout is in description, as for weapon switching, Hold R2 and press the following:
X = plasma
Square = rocket
Triangle = shotgun
circle = heavy cannon
up = double barrel
right = chaingun
down = ballista
left = bfg

@@WarframeCrunch They don't, it's only available on pc. Theres more info at the bottom of the description. JoyShockMapper converts input from PlayStation 4 controllers to keyboard inputs.
