Cool concept, I can see this with other countries as well, eg entries that Germany threatened to send to Eurovision.
Not threatened hahaha
@peterjohn5544 only threatened, without coming to fruition.
Doesn’t matter what it is, we be lovin’ some new Alesia content!!
@@gustavsvensson1944 haha ❤️
Something weird was happening in 2014 and 2015 national selections, when people were voting for the song and the artist separately. The broadcaster for some reason thought it was a good idea, but it was beyond stupid.
@@actuallydead8316 yeah… idk about that format. It’s definitely a model that wouldn’t work at the contest now
I believe they actually based this format on the German example from when Lena was chosen. Their point was to select the best song and the best artist separately, so in the final show 3 artists would all perform the same song.
Aiste should be internally selected when they finally win. She’s been trying since 1999 and has a handful of 2nd places with 2017 being her biggest robbery
Definitely. She definitely would have qualified, or at least done much better than Rain Of A Revolution (although I don't think, it's as bad as people claim it was. Plus, it didn't finish in the Bottom 3 in the semi-final).
Eh, she is trying to get elected to the parliament with very pro Krelim and very populist party. Don't think we need to give a platform to that kind of people
I hope to see Monique (2020) and Ruta Mur (2023) on ESC stage one day🤍🖤
Yes. And Monika Marija who should have represented them in 2019. (although I don't think that Run With The Lions was the worst thing ever and as bad as people say it was, same thing goes for Rain Of A Revolution, of course, it wasn't good and their 2nd place should have gone instead, but it wasn't the worst song in Kyiv either, neither was Run With The Lions in 2019).
LITERALLY, like when they comin back?
From all the performances who finished in 2nd place my favorite is Monique with the song Make Me Human , i remember that grand final of lithuanian national selection 2020 , for the moment i thought Monique will grab her victory and will represent Lithuania in 2020 , but sadly The Roop with On Fire was stronger , she needs to comeback next year during national selection ❤
You need to do this for Latvia too, I would argue they have had many missed opportunity to send great songs especially from their big NQ streak in 2009-2014.
aiste has finished top 3 an unholy amount of times. her 2017 entry was actually composed by aminata and she won most of the heats and semi, but fusedmarc ended up winning in the final, exactly why you should never have a nf span like 6 weeks
Malta next pls
I’m sorry, but 👏I’m 👏still 👏waiting 👏for 👏Monika 👏Marija 👏to 👏go 👏to 👏esc. And Monique too their performances made me want them even more
I see that fans that Lithuania to win because they never won and they sent some good entries, but I'm not really sure if that will happen this decade. I haven't found their national selection to be so strong compared to Eesti Laul or MGP for instance and they are consistently ranked lower by jury. :/ It would really have to be a moment, myb the duo or something...
