The reason Tincture works on the snowy forest zones is because you used a normal Fur set which has lower cold resistance than the red zone; and, when drinking Tincture, you INCREASE your cold resistance to the point where its the same, or greater than that location's "recommended cold resistance" which makes the accumulated cold to slowly decrease. The warming first aid kid on the other hard, reduces the accumulated cold instantly, heals you, and also increase your Cold Resistance.
Man I'm super super disappointed in the devs. They release such a cool update but then proceeded to do everything incorrectly. Nerding things instead of buffing. I've given up on getting the repair bench. I didn't have it so far and I won't have it in the future
The berry Tincture increases your cold resistance by 5, thats why it works in the red zone with the normal fur set that gives 15 cold resistance, so you freeze normally in the red zone because it requires 18 cold resistance. but, when you use the Berry Tincture it increases your cold protection by 5 (15+5=20>18) so you stop freezing for a while. and on the other hand the kit decreases the freezing effect by 50% whatever the cold resistance requirement is but the freezing bar keeps rising. Thats why the Berry Tincture does not work in the boss arena.
13:20 the reason why because that bottle increases your cold resistance and combined with your Set it reach the amount of resistance you need for the location I assume the resistance required for the boss is too high that even those bottles aren't enough
I am done with that update thanks to the flair fun not worth it at all anymore you need to many on he daily for the events and even more now for the boss so not worth it at all not even the repair bench only worthy thing is the level ups on the benches to make more planks and more charcoal and more leather faster repairs bench cost more to repair then to make or to find so damn sure not worth it even less now thanks to the flair gun

Thats the worst part for me that i need iron for making cleavers and for the Settlement. 10 iron plates is too much. If they at least made it 5 iron plates but 10?!? I just haven't played it for a while. I like SCUM, it's fun and I miss it. There are some things that I don't like that core SCUM audience likes. I don't like the mech robots and the new abandoned bunkers. But those things are exciting for a lot of players. I don't like lockpicking higher tier locks. I love the traders, imo that was the best update SCUM has ever done, yet a lot of people really don't like the traders. Sometimes the community can't even decide what they want from the game and I don't want to be in the middle of that, I guess? Plus the game currently focuses a lot on multiplayer and I love singleplayer SCUM. I'm not the biggest fan of building bases in SCUM and not being able to have a vehicle (good luck finding one in multiplayer servers if you don't play 24/7 with a squad). On top of that it feels like a good portion of the SCUM community keeps making fun of singleplayer SCUM players for not playing multiplayer lol. When I want multiplayer I prefer to play DayZ or Rust. Btw there's nothing wrong with multiplayer if that's what the people and the devs want then that's great. I like SCUM and I will definitely be revisiting it once it either hits 1.0 or maybe after another big update.

The berry tincture gives you some extra cold resistance for 1min that's why that doesn't work on the boss the cold keep going up 🤔
You need to use the frost resistance stimulant. Those work much better than the warming aid kits.
