Interest rates are almost double now compared to then, the income dollars are not there unless people or funds jump out of stock market and jump into the commodities

9:00....proving that the high 2021 nitrogen prices were due to the high corn price and not logistics.

The greed is still huge up here in Canada! Crop prices are at 2010 levels ! Society has to decide where they want their food grown!

Fertilizer needs to be free of toxins such as PFAS's. Does anyone test fertilizers for toxins?

Sure not seeing in western Canada nitrogen fertilizer prices down 2/3 of what they were.

Just checked here , same price as last year,,,,grain prices down though. The struggle here in Canada is that natural gas price is about two thirds carbon tax. Don’t blame producers, blame our liberal government.

Many farmers should be heavily into planting cover crops beans turnips, kales ,dicon radishes .all those can reduce costs of fertilizers, nnd chemical induction. It works well.

Why use it? You can grow crops without it. Fix the soil issues instead of killing it.

Are you kidding me, Sri Lanka tried that and it lead to an 80% price hike in food and riots and the president abdicating the throne.

The problem with the commercial style farms that produce 85% of our food base is they run on tight margins that dont allow for natural rotations of legumes ect and intermitent years of production without going bankrupt.

@ I live in ag country and there are no factory style farms. They are big but are still family owned. They take better care of the soil than anyone I know because poor soil leads to poor results.
