Surah 3 verse 7 says 'And no one knows it's interpretation except Allah:
It is He who has sent down to you, [O Muḥammad], the Book; in it are verses [that are] precise - they are the foundation of the Book - and others unspecific.1 As for those in whose hearts is deviation [from truth], they will follow that of it which is unspecific, seeking discord and seeking an interpretation [suitable to them]. And no one knows its [true] interpretation except Allāh. But those firm in knowledge say, "We believe in it. All [of it] is from our Lord." And no one will be reminded except those of understanding.

It is correct. They love to compare hearing seeing and living to prove that hand is meant literally but that isn’t even a fair comparison to begin with. Eyes and ears is a more fair comparison. That’s 1. Secondly Allah says He is All hearing and All seeing, which human claims that they are all hearing or all seeing? Literally nobody, so there’s that. That example does not favor them at all. Aqeedah of Ahlus Sunnah in regards to the names and attributes of Allah (the prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم and his companions رضي الله عنهم اجمعين):
-Affirm for Allah what he attributes to himself in the Qur’an and authentic Sunnah in a way that befits His majesty.
    In the following way:
-Don’t resemble the attributes to anything as there is nothing like Allah.
“There is nothing like Him: He is the All Hearing, the All Seeing.” (42:11)
-Don’t Distort/change or specify about the attributes what Allah hasn’t.
-Don’t ask how the attribute exactly is (as no one has ever seen Allah).
-Don’t negate/reject the attributes of Allah.
They made not a just estimate of Allah as is due to Him. And on the Day of Resurrection, the whole of the earth will be grasped by His Hand and the heavens will be rolled up in His Right Hand. Exalted is He, free of all imperfections, High above all that they associate as partners with Him.’ (Surah Az-Zumar: 67)
“And the Jews say, ‘The hand of Allah is tied up.’ Chained are their hands, and cursed are they for what they say. Rather, both His Hands are extended, He spends however He wills…” (Al-Mā’idah: 64)
“[Allah] said, ‘O Iblees, what prevented you from prostrating to that which I created with My hands? Were you arrogant [then], or were you [already] among the haughty?’” [Saad 38:75].
“(Remember) the Day when the Shin shall be laid bare (i.e. the Day of Resurrection) and they shall be called to prostrate themselves (to Allâh), but they (hypocrites) shall not be able to do so.” (68:42)
“And the Face of your Lord full of Majesty and Honour will abide forever.”
    (55:27)
“And I endued you with love from Me, in order that you may be brought up under My Eye” (20:39)
“Floating under Our Eyes, a reward for him who had been rejected!” (54:14)
“Everything will perish except His Face.” (28:88)
Side point: The Hadith About 2 Right Hands:
"And both of His hands are right (يَمِينٌ) hands."
    Sunan an-Nasa'i 5379
The word يَمِينٌ/ يُمنا comes from the word, Blessed = تَيَمُّن, this Hadith is talking about how Allah’s hands are blessed. Simple. The Arab’s in the time of the Prophet used to believe the left hand was cursed.
Salafi’s do not believe that the hands of Allah are organs at the end of the forelimb of certain vertebrates that exhibits great mobility and flexibility in the digits and in the whole organ. It is made up of the wrist joint, the carpal bones, the metacarpal bones, and the phalanges.
Salafi’s don’t believe the shin of Allah mentioned in the Qur’an is the front part of the leg below the knee.
Salafi’s don’t believe the eye which Allah mentions about himself in the Qur’an is made up of three coats, which enclose the optically clear aqueous humour, lens, and vitreous body. The outermost coat consists of the cornea and the sclera; the middle coat contains the main blood supply to the eye and consists, from the back forward, of the choroid, the ciliary body, and the iris.
These are human attributes ^. Allah’s attributes are not like ours. They befit His majesty.
"And there is none co-equal or comparable unto Him." (112:4)
“And (all) the Most Beautiful Names belong to Allâh, so call on Him by them, and leave the company of those who belie or deny (or utter impious speech against) His Names. They will be requited for what they used to do.” (7:180)

      There are literally 1000's of examples - I'll give 10 examples - 5 from Qur'an :
1- Did the Prophet have "WINGS"?
"And lower your wing to the believers." (15:88).
      Meaning: humble yourself.
2- Do walls have a "WILL"?
"Then they found in it a wall (that) want(ed) to collapse." (18:77).
Meaning: that was about to collapse.
3- Can you ask a "TOWN" - can a town talk?
      "And ask the town." (12:82).
Meaning: ask the people of the town.
4- Was there a "KNOT" in the tongue of Moses"?
"And untie the knot from my tongue." (20:27).
      Meaning: remove my speech impediment.
5- Holding "FIRMLY" to the Book:
      يَا يَحْيَىٰ خُذِ الْكِتَابَ بِقُوَّةٍ
"O Yahya, hold firmly to the Book." (19:12).
Meaning: stick to it's rules and guidance.

It is sufficient for the believer to accept & believe whatever Allah has said about himself without going deep into the verses of the Muthashabihat (verses in which only Allah knows the true meaning). However the Hizbis (those with a Cult mentality) have created their own set of principles of beliefs which they term as "Aqeedah" which they use to divide & attack the rest of the Ummah. These beliefs are based solely upon theological differences of opinion amongst the Scholars, which are not necessary for the lay person to delve deeply into because they are differences of opinion based upon on the verses of the Muthashabihat. They deem anyone who does not believe in the same theological beliefs of their scholars regarding these verses of Muthashabihat that they are out of the fold of Islam. SubhanAllah.
They call themselves big words like "People of Sunnah" & handpick certain Hadith with which they use to create divisions but ignore those that call for mercy & unity solely because they differ on the opinion of the scholars they follow on the verses of the Muthashabihat.
Wake up oh Ummah. These are the very people who are silent about the mass slaughter & forced starvation of Muslims in Yemen by the treacherous regime whom they blindly defend even though they have clearly sided with the disbelievers in unjustly slaughtering innocent Muslims. The very people who are silent about the regime they defend who are inviting evil practices and fitnah to spread across the holy lands. These very people proclaim to be of the people of the "Sunnah" & that they follow the way of the "Salaf". The true people of Sunnah & the Salaf would never behave as they do. It is easy to claim such things but the reality is very far from the truth.
You only have to see the way these people behave in their arrogant and harsh approach towards others & are highly intolerant to valid differences of opinion amongst the scholars. They make it a habit to attack other Muslims including scholars & their tongues are very sharp when it comes to making Takfir upon another believer.
They have made theological differences of opinion of the scholars regarding verses of Muthashabihat as "fundamental" aspects of Aqeedah so as to completely block & prevent unity & in order to move away from the rest of the Ummah whom they deem as being out of the fold of Ahlus Sunnah.
They have an superiority complex called Saved Sect Syndrome (SSS) and it's a very debilitating disease of the heart.
May Allah save us from those who divide the Ummah. Ameen

@b king they follow the stance of a very small number of scholars yet declare those that oppose them to be out of the Ahlus Sunnah. Then that would include the vast majority of Scholars of the past and present including the great Mujtahid Imaams and greats such as Imaam Nawawi, Ibn Hajar Al Asqalani and many many more.
Oh Ummah do not be deceived by their following "Qur'an and Sunnah" and following the "Salaf" rhetoric. It's just a way to attract the ignorant towards their hizbi sect.

Salafis tend to attribute direction, movement, place and other unbefitting impossibilities for Allāh
Ahlus Sunnah Wal Jammah accept the verses from the Quran and the statements of the Prophet [peace be upon him] how they were intended and we leave the meaning of them to Allāh. This is why it’s important to understand the verses and act on how Ulema of the past spoke about them. They negated Allāh being in a literal direction. They also negated place and movement for Allāh. We already have statements of the ulema of the past so modern day interpretations of Allāh being confined to a location/direction/place are not to be accepted.
    Ibn In al-Jawzi-may
Allah ta’Ala have mercy upon him-said:
"whoever says 'He rose with His Essence' has made Him [Allah) the object of sense perception."
    [Dafa Shubh al-Tashbih, p. 102.]
Al-Hafiz al-Dhahabi said in his book Al- Uluw, after citing the
    statement of Yahya b. 'Ammar:
"Nay, we say that He is, with His
Essence, above the Throne and His knowledge encompasses everything":
    "Your statement with His Essence
    is from your own bag"'
    [Al ‘Uluw p263]
imam Badr al-Din b. Jama'a- may Allah have mercy upon him-
    said:
Whoever believes that the [ISTAWA] with respect to Him [Allah], the Exalted, is understood like the qualities of the contingent beings and says: "He rose with His
Essence" or says: "He rose in reality [haqiqatan]," then he has innovated this extraneous expression that is neither
affirmed in the Sunna nor reported from any of the Imams that are followed.
    [īdah -al Dalīl p107]
Imam ibn' Abd al-Barr - may Allah have mercy upon him-said
"And a group ascribed to the sunna said that He, the Exalted descends with His Essence! This statement is rejected, because He, Exalted is His mention, is not a locus for movement and He
has nothing from the signs (characteristics) of the creation."
    [Al-Istidhkar, 8:153]
He also said in his refutation against someone who said that “ He
    descends with His Essence”
    "This is rejected Llaysa bi-shayin]
according to the people of understanding among Ahl al-Sunna because it is a modality [kayfiyya], and they flee from that because
it is only suitable for something that is directly encompassed, and Allah, the Exalted, is transcendent above that.
    [Al-Tamhid,7:143.]
Imam ‘Ali ibn Abi Taalib ‏رضي الله عنه is reported to have said
    ,
    ,
“Allah was without place, and He is now as He was [then].”
Imam Ahmad Ibn Salamah, Abu Ja^far at-Tahawiyy, who was born in the year 237 after Hijrah, wrote a very famous book called al-^Aqidah at-Tahawiyyah. He mentioned that the content of his book is an explantion of the creed of Ahlus-Sunnah wal Jama^ah, which is the creed of Imam Abu Hanifah, who died in the year 150 after Hijrah, and his two companions, Imam Abu Yusuf al-Qadi and Imam Muhammad Ibn al-Hasan ash-Shaybaniyy and others. He said in his book:
    ‎قال الإمامُ أَبو جَعْفَرِ الطَّحَاوِىُّ السَّلَفىُّ: "تَعَالى عن الحُدُودِ والغَاياتِ والأَركانِ والأَعضَاء والأَدَوَاتِ. لا تَحوِيهِ الجِهَاتُ السّتُّ كَسَائِرِ المُبْتَدَعَاتِ".
which means: > Such is the saying of Imam Abu Ja^far who is among the heads of Salaf. Abu Ja^far explicitly stated that Allah is clear of being contained by the six directions. The six directions are above, below, ahead, behind, right, and left.
Qadi Abu Ya’la al-Hanbali says, “Indeed, Allah Most High is not to be described with [residing in a] place.” (Daf’ Shubah al-Tashbih, P: 43)
Also the great Mufassir Ibn al-Jawziy al-Hanbaliy said in his book "Daf^ Shubah at-Tashbih" page 58: "The obligation upon us is to believe that the self of Allah ta^ala is not contained in a place, and He is not attributed with change nor movement".
    - And Ibn al-Jawziy also said: "Some people lied when they heard about the Sifat (attributes of Allah) and interpreted them according to the physical meanings, such as those who claimed that Allah literally descends from the sky and moves from one place to another. This is an ill understanding, because the one who moves would be from a place to a place, and that necessitates that the place is bigger than him and that requires movement, and all of that is impossible to be attributed to Allah the Exalted
Also, Salafis tend to state they know what “Yad” means and they say it means “hand”, but when asked, “What does [“hand”] mean?” They get stumbled and contradict themselves by stating they know the meaning but cant even answer what is meaning themselves.
When one understands and contemplate that in reality, we do not know what Yad means. If one say it means “hand”. You have two options
    1. Saying “I don’t know what hand means.”
    2. You state that Allāh has hands like His creation but they don’t look like His creation.
The second is blasphemous because one resembling Allāh to His creation by giving him the same meanings as His creation. Basically one would be stating “Allāh has a hand like ours but it doesn’t look like ours” this is kufr.
That’s why it’s important to think about what one believes in.
Ahlus Sunnah wal Jammah believe in all of Allah’s attributes without resemblance or likeness to His creation. When it comes to attributes such as Yad, we leave the meaning to Allāh. This is Tafwīd Al-ma’na. We do not state Yad means this or that because one would give a meaning that in reality they don’t even know. Such as how Salafis can’t say what “hand” means without defining it in a way that resembles the creation.
I care about you and hopefully this opens your eyes in shaa’Allah

Salafis give a direction to Allah? We say that Allah swt is above his arsh and the arsh is above the 7 heavens. We don’t give a literal direction to Allah swt. From a Hadith we know that there’s is 500 years of travel time between each heaven. At what speed one might ask? Allaho3alem. And also a Hadith where a woman came to the messenger of Allah and the prophet saw said to her where is Allah? She pointed up and said above the heavens. The prophet replied who am I? She said you’re the messenger of Allah. And then the prophet saw said “grant her freedom, as she is a believing woman”. So it’s clear that Allah swt is above the creation. How and where exactly? We can’t ask. Because that’s of the unseen and only belongs to Allah. Jazzakallahu khayran.

@@a.d2019 if you mean above as Exaltation and not direction then that’s fine. If you mean above as literally above with direction then that’s invalid. Many Salafis claims above means direction and place.
Regarding the Slave Girl Hadith, read the commentary on it. It wasn’t to prove direction or place. You can read from Qadi Iyad on the matter as a source.
In the Arabic language “ayna” can relate to rank.
I honestly feel like there’s a disconnect from the interpretation of people today and ulema of the past.
Imam Abu Mansur al-Baghdadiyy said in his book, Al-Farqu Bayn alFiraq page 333:
‎قال الإمام أبو منصور البغدادي (429 هـ) في الفرق بين الفرق صفحة 333: "وأجمعوا (أهل السنة) على أن الله لا يحويه مكان ولا يجري عليه زمان. وقد قال الامام علي رضي الله عنه (كان- الله- ولا مكان، وهو الان على ما -عليه- كان اهـ. أي بلا مكان. وقال: "إن الله تعالى خلق العرش إظهارًا لقدرته لا مكانا لذاته"
Which means: "They (AhluSunnah) unanimously agreed that Allah is not contained in a place and that time does not lapse on Him. Contrary to what the Hishamiyah and Karramiyah (Groups that liken Allah to the creations) claimed that Allah is touching (or sitting on) the throne. Imam Aliy said: "Allah existed eternally and there was no place & He now is as He was; without a place. "He created the Arsh indicating His power, not to sit on it".
Imam Abu Mansur al-Baghdadiyy related in his book, Al-Farqu Baynal-Firaq, that Imam ^Aliyy, the fourth of the caliphs, may Allah reward his deeds, said:
‎نقل الإمامُ أبو منصور البغدادىُّ في كتابه "الفَرْقُ بينَ الفِرَقِ" أن الإمامَ علىَّ بنَ أبِى طالب رضى الله عنه قال: "كان الله ولا مكان، وهو الآن على ما عليه كان".

One of the ambiguities of shamsi is to say a false analogy by saying if Allah exists. The meaning of existence of Allah is different to our existence meaning.
Look at the difference, Allah exists without first and end, without a body, without soul etc and our existence is based of first and end, body, soul, body parts etc. So the meaning is totally different.
