HINDASH! I knew you said "kackie" not "khaki" 😂 This collection just feels like a privilege to peek into your process. I'm so glad you enjoyed the video 🥰🥰🥰
@@kackie Hahaha. I promise there will be a lip color you will enjoy wearing straight from the tube in the next drop!!! Think "Rest In Roses" desaturated and lightened up a lottt. Also I'm so curious about your lavender mixing shade. You have to show me it or show me a video of you using it! I know Dior made a white "sheer? maybe?" lipstick that my friend raves about for lightening up her nude shades.
"You can really slam a brush in it" is cracking me up and it's so true about this formula. I've really been enjoying playing with this palette, I didn't get the first one but this colorstory really called out to me and the shadows literally blend themselves
Wait… barrier creams for the WESTERN Hemisphere in Feb??? 😂 Gripe aside, love the thumbnail look!!! Sooo excited to see how this collection applies in person ✨✨✨
Hi Kackie! Oh my gosh HUSH is my dream lip pencil color! It’s so hard to find a tone like that. It’s kind of similar to Mac Boldly Bare from my memory but that one never lasted long for me. I could listen to your describe colors all day bc your passion shows!! 😍🙌🏻
I know you don’t like lip colors on yourself but I thought the orange was stunning. Thanks for this review Kackie. I need a video from you on the list of where you buy all your clothes. I want to be dystopian cowgirl and sh*tpost dressing too.
I’ve seen some reviews slam this for being too sheer. I mean it’s a face palette too so I’m not putting Natasha Denona pigmented shadows on my face and am curious who might be. I haven’t tried mine yet, so don’t have an opinion on performance of this palette yet but some of the reviews seem pretty “missed the point.”
That's why I waited for Kackie's review, because she's a painter just like Hindash and understands colour and buildability in a way most beauty gurus don't. And the encyclopedic knowledge that allows her to cross reference and give recommendations accurately without bias? That's rare.
I’ve been watching several reviews of this palette as well and it’s really interesting to see RUclips “make up artists” struggle using this palette because they don’t get how to use it because they’re so used to a different kind of makeup application and for everything to have a level of pigmentation that sometimes makes people struggle more if they’re not used to that.
Honestly the issue you said with lipstick overwhelming the rest of your look… that first lipstick was the perfect tone where I was looking at your eyes/lips/complexion evenly. Gorgeous color on you, even if mentally it seems unexpected!
Wow! Such a great review! Comprehensive and very helpful. I've been really contemplating purchasing some of the items from the collection. Everything seems so unique with impeccable quality. Love, love, love the look you did and I think the time is right for me to take the plunge and try these out. Thank you for your demos and insight!!
Well, I'm fully sold. Gonna get Monochromance, the Intra liner, and the boy tears. Perhaps Beautopsy as well. I'd never need to buy another palette ever again…methinks I may need to go take some colour theory and art classes to take full advantage of the nuances
I don't know if you saw the Beautopsy palette is on sale on Hindash's site! I was so excited and just ordered it. After seeing Kackie's video I now kinda wish I ordered the Rest in Roses lipstick too.
So excited I just ordered the Monochromance, I couldn't wait, it doesn't matter that I just recently ordered the Beautopsy and it isn't here yet. I waited for your video to come out and that was the final nail I had to have it!
♥ ~~~after a long slog at work and life, I am always so grateful to find respite with "my" you tube ladies. Thank you Kackie, you dystopian cowgirl fortune teller beauty, for this eve's divine deep dive into Monochromance and all that is rosy brown, yep I watched "what's in my travel bag" too. It's a Kackie kinda night.
I don't know if you have ever purchased from Doen, but they are having a spring sale right now. There is a "countryside patchwork" print dress. It looks like a quilt or picnic blanket 😂😂😂 I'm obsessed and of course already bought it. Go LOOK.
This is the best! Thank you! I also wanted to say, you’ve helped me wrap my head around my own undertones, especially the tones of my LIPS which seriously mess up every beautiful peach color and so many others on me! I’m so excited about this RiR color now :) so, wanted to say Thanks!
That's also what I was thinking the purple would be perfect for! This is the ideal formula for an eyeshadow and blush adjuster because it can be built up in slow and sheer increments. The blue and purple shades would also be helpful to cool down bronzer that looks too warm/yellow.
I love that palette so much. I know nothing about color theory and I am relearning how to do eyeshadow because I now have hooded/older skin/in my-50s kind of eyes. It's so frustrating! Buying eye shadows feels like a waste of money because it all disappears when I open my eyes. I think I could try this palette out by using just one pan for a whole look, as you suggested, and it would not feel like a waste. Then I could play around from there and see what else I can make work.
Hey Kackie, I didnt know who Hindash was before you started using his products. And now I'm eyeing the beautopsy palette. If you could only purchase one which one would you recommend that or this new one?.
I'm super curious what you think of using the two palettes together? I guess what I am asking is - is it worth having both of them? I am drawn to this new palette because of the spring/summer shades, but I have been watching a ton of videos and seeing the original palette and seeing how much versatility it has - maybe more face use options. If you were only going to purchase one to start which one would you buy? I really loved your video, by the way. You using that Khaki color as a base was inspired. No one has used it like that in any videos I have watched and that is what made me see this palette as not having to just be a pastel palette. Thanks!
I was so excited for that top when you said they go up to 5X but it's not actually plus size 5X. Still looks lovely and I think that skirt would be gorge on you!
This is everything😍 I need the palette, I need at least one blush, and I feel like I need Rust and Roses even though I know I’ll never wear it. I’m sold on the Dystopian Cowgirl Fortune Teller vibes.
i loved this video, I have been wanting to get beautopsy for such a long time and not that monochromance is out its been so tempted, halfway through this video i purchased them both as an early birthday present! might need the lip colours asap. Enjoy your videos so much, thank you!
Kackie, I feel terrible-there is something funky going on with the iPhone RUclips app. Sometimes (not all the time) when I go to click the like button on your videos, the like button has moved over to be super close to the dislike button and I accidentally click dislike. I always unclick it and click like, but whenever I accidentally click dislike is says “feedback shared with the creator” and I feel awful! Anyhow, if you are suddenly seeing an uptick in dislikes, that’s probably why. Also, I loved when you said, “this is my favorite shimmer goo,” with a completely straight face! 😂
on my screen your base (bronzer) comes off as this very neutral caramel colour that feels unreal. it's like the type of colour you remember seeing and would kill to see again, but you never find it, so the memory gets even more nuanced until the colour is too magical to exist. I have been looking into caramel for both lips and hair and it's just not happening. I wish I could imbibe this colour through the screen.
Patrick Ta is HIGH HIGH HIGH pigment. Not a bad thing, but definitely surprising at first, and more prone to fallout. But it is great for people who want to get their makeup on a little faster with maximum impact. Pat McGrath is right in the middle of the other two, I'd say. It's saturated and blendable with minimal fallouw. Hindash's shadows require some patience to build but there's ZERO fallout and a super sheer blend.
@@kackie Okay yay! I tried out the blend on my skin tone for both the Patrick Ta and the Pat McGrath yesterday, and I definitely found the Patrick Ta to require the lesser amount of building with a fluffier brush, maybe two layers or so (I wear Lisa Eldridge shade 23, for reference). I feel a lot more confident in getting Monochromance now, it'll definitely allow me my preference of softer looks for sure while supplementing the other two. Thanks so so so much!
Also, how do we think the Made shade would go for dark brows? Possibly too warm maybe? In the diffused swatch on Hindash's Instagram, it looks like a coolish darker brown on the deeper skinned model, but a mid toned neutral brown on the light skinned model. Hmmmmmm
Kackie I love you

Hindash has a vision like no other. Not to mention, wow what a good looking man 😋 and Wayne’s blushes look soooooo pretty!
LOVE THIS!! Kackie you are not only stunningly gorgeous but you are an ICON for all the dystopian fortune teller cowgirls out there 👑❤️

Oh wow, those colors are gorgeous on you.
When you swatched the peach lipstick on your hand I was like 'thats gonna look amazing on her with this look!' and then your face said it all haha
She always warns us but I'm always surprised how different the shades look on her lips.😆
The boy tears look really gold on camera (in the bottle), but looks champagne on the eyes and when u swatched it. Is it more gold or more champagne?
you're looking VERY fortuneteller apocalyptic cowboy today congrats
Thenks Sarah 🥲
I really enjoyed this review and the end look. Hindash is such a sweetheart 💕
