Thanks Jess for this great tutorial! I finished making this and it came out so beautifully, I made a full-length dress with the pattern and it looks awesome. Just a couple notes for those following the tutorial: 1. The starting circle for the sleeve is confusing because 76cm is the circumference, not the diameter as stated in the video. If you calculate the diameter of a circle with a 76cm circumference, the diameter is around 24-25cm which matches the circle shown in the video. So work out the circumference you need the way Jess says you should in the video and then use a calculation to find your diameter. 2. The tutorial doesn’t show finishing the raw edges of your fabric but it looks like it’s done once she finishes the dress. I recommend people do this to avoid frayed edges. 3. I am not sure if I missed something, but the under-arm pieces ended up not being hemmed which doesn’t look nice when you raise your arms. So I hemmed the top of those pieces with a 1cm hem before attaching them and the sleeves to the main bodice.
I appreciate you taking time to provide more descriptions. I find Jess is great but at times she doesn’t say how to work the calculations and at some places certain CM amounts whether it applies to every size. Cheers. 😊
This dress just came out gorgeous, hopefully I'll be able to sew one for myself, I appreciate the fact that you include the way you do the measurements and that you use the metric system. Greetings from Cape Town, South Africa!
I love how well you explain everything. Looking forward to trying many of your patterns. I'm an intermediate sewer. So this helps me a lot. Keep up the good work. : )
First of all, thank you for the care you take in clearly explaining the measurements to use and being easy to adapt to my measurements. I already did the dress e I love it. However, I have a question; Do the values you indicate already have the value of the seams included? Just in case, I add 1cm for the seams but I'm not sure if I should.
Jess, you never cease to amaze me! You are so talented and I appreciate the visual of your body measurement that you are now doing in your videos. I have been following you for a while and you keep getting better and better!!!

Jess this is a beautiful dress. I was wondering where that piece you cut off the top was replaced after you put the sleeves on? I’m eager to make this dress but that was a little confusing😀
Thank you jess for sharing your fantastic tutorials ♥️ i have applied most of your tutorials 🧡 keep going 👏🏻 hope you make rushed side dress , it will be gorgeous 💙
Hi Jess, I love the dress and I'm trying to make it, however the sleeve pattern got stuck, I don't quite understand how you do it, how long is the small circle, where do you get the measurement from? and the 8 centimeters? The translator doesn't really help much. thank you
Hey Jess! Love the white blouse you are wearing in this video! Could you tell me where you got it? I've been looking for one just like it. Love your sewing tutorials!

I hope you will be able to sew and use your sewing machine soon. Try with some simple stitching to get to know you sewing machine first. Then start with some simple and easy projects later. And one day, you can make something nicer
@@JessDangDIY you say that the diameter is 76 cm which is 2x width but then you put your ruler there and the diameter was only about 26 cm. So do you mean that 76 cm is the circumference?

Thanks for this tutorial, nice dress! You are so talented 🙂

Does it make sense to do this dress with cotton fabric? Or is it better with chiffon like you did it?
I'm already in love with this dress and can't wait to make it myself🥰
But why 2,5 meters? isn't it too much?
It depend on the length of the dress you want and the size of the dress too. So to me, 2.5m is good enough for any size
This is so dang cute!!!
Thank you!
I love your dress soo pretty 😍😍
Thanks a lot!
hi, interested in making this, however i have a large chest compared to my underbust, will this still work without darts?
I think it's still work as it has the elastic waist band. So as long as you measure the top part of the dress based on your bust size, it will be fine
Muchas gracias Jess, estupendo modelo. Un abrazo gigante para ti.
Jess ficou lindo parabéns pelo capricho mesmo sem falar o Inglês entendi TD.💕💕

Hello can you make a bustier dress tutorial ?
Hi jess beautiful dress. I really want to try it but, I didn't understand the sleeve part, would you please explain?
Which part in the video did you not understand?
@@JessDangDIYhi jess thanks for replying. I didn't understand the sleeve part. What is the diameter of the first circle?
very very beautiful dress.you are so beautiful too.so nice.thank you for good explenation.🆒

Hi Jess! I do not understand how to draw the sleeve pattern , the second circle precisely...???
Hey Jess! Love the white blouse you are wearing in this video! Could you tell me where you got it? I've been looking for one just like it.
Love your sewing tutorials!
I made it from a t-shirt. You can check out the tutorial on my channel

Love the video I just wondered is the the little sircle in the sleeve supposed to be two times the measurments from the shoulder to under the breast because mine is 44. So 88 cm for that small sircle seems alot.
Ah, just make sure the length of the small circle is the same with the sleeve. The main point is to connect them together later.
Nice dress creativity I gonna make one soon 😉🙃
Thank you!
So beautiful 😍

i cant work out how to do the circle for the sleeve, can you explain in easy terms please
Sorry but what did you not know on it?
@@JessDangDIY you say that the diameter is 76 cm which is 2x width but then you put your ruler there and the diameter was only about 26 cm. So do you mean that 76 cm is the circumference?
I am also a bit confused on the sleeve measure. Waiting for Jess reply then re-start from the sleeve, thank you ❤️.
I didn't quite catch it either
