Hi Jamie, I did just stick it on the chin horizontally, as I prefer to have the camera upside down and low to capture the cockpit which is near impossible on this bike. The mount does not sit flush on the shoei, and it is slightly to one side. I hate the look but a decent compromise. Loving your vids!
Hey man! Cool video! I just want to note that there is actually a beautiful visor made by Shoei themselves, the colour is 'Dark Smoke' and the visor is the 'Shoei CPB-1 Visor'. It's currently on sale on some European sites, not sure how it is in North America. I keep notice of all the deals and one site is selling the Glamster at the lowest (matching*) price + you get 40% off on an extra visor (clear/dark smoke). The full price of the visor is 79 euro's, which would be something close to a 100 dollars. Which is extremely expensive.. So in some cases (like in America where it's totally legal) this visor you have is probably a very smart alternative. It looks good! But in the EU I would definitely recommend getting the official Shoei made visors! I'm curious as to how this visor seals. I'm also not sure about the safety of this helmet because of the extension for the closing mechanism. You've probably taken it for a ride. What are your findings?
Hey Tim, thanks for the comment! I have seen these offers before, but unfortunately each time I dig deeper the visor (CPB-1) is not actually available but they just say they will throw it in. This could have changed since I’ve gotten the helmet, but doubt it since these alternatives actually went on sale. I will likely buy the shoei official one when it does actually go on sale from a reputable store that I know actually has it in stock. I haven’t gone on a ride yet but look forward to sharing my thoughts. I am optimistic!
@@ForeverARide Yeah, let me know! And you are totally correct. There IS a dark smoke cpb 1 visor, but they don't actually have them. I reached out to my friend at championhelmets and I can confirm that they do offer the combo deal with the dark smoke cpb1 but that they do not have it in stock. In my opinion they should then remove that option and only let customers select the clear visor. Imagine ordering the combo deal and then receiving another clear visor.. And wanting your money back but for that having to send it back! Not good. They are expecting restocking from shoei in 2021, not sure when.

What website did you get it from. I tried a few European websites but said that they will not ship to U.S.
Work with the smaller companies like the cafe racer.
Pay the extra and get genuine, these aftermarket visors are terrible quality and not safety marked at all.
