Regarding the wearing of mustache and beard, even though it seems to be the fashion in the West, you hardly see any Chinese men sporting them, not because they can't grow them (if you look at photos or pictures of ancient Chinese, most of the men sported long mustache and beard) but modern Chinese associate hirsuteness with unkemptness and even unsavoury characters. The same goes for tattoos.
I think most Han Chinese (or maybe southerners) can't grow thick beards. Maybe a few strands here and there. Lol. I can only grow a bit of beard below the chin and some mustache but they unfortunately don't 'join' 🤣.
I've been using a fanny pack for years & never once have i lost my mobile phone nor wallet. All my valuables are in the fanny pack even when i sit down for a meal. 100% safe. Best part both my hands are free !!

I suggest a few places in China can bring your brother to: Beijing for history, Shanghai or Shenzhen for modernity, Xinjiang, Yunnan, Tibet, Inner Mongolia for ethnic diversity and beautiful landscapes. Of course, there are many places other than those above, it will require multiple trips to just scratch the surface of every province.

伍仁月饼以前在上海很好吃的，感觉有松子，果仁青甜香糯，可能是老师傳做的好吃，技术好，现在的伍仁月饼不好吃硬，又不香，像个石头😮
我其实更喜欢五仁月饼🥮，莲蓉的比较腻。只是五仁的一般有杏仁，杏仁的味道可能很多人不太习惯。
