Who else comes here to get motivated to either continue studying or to get some work done.😅
Big W man. Love your vids!!
Yes!
+1. Every other day
@@LouisNgatale Me right now, and lots recently
Haha me!
Lately, I've been diving into the world of coding, specifically focusing on learning JavaScript. It's been quite the journey so far. Some days, I find myself making significant progress and everything just clicks into place. However, there are other days where I face challenges, even when I'm just trying to write a few lines of code. Despite the ups and downs, I'm determined to keep pushing forward and improving my skills.ode.
W video man, love the mindset "what if I had done it myself instead" 👊
Hell yeah dude!!
Wohooo....i am here withing 15 minutes.....bro like.....I swear... I was just binging your videos today to get the motivation to continue learning JS.....Bro like you are one of the OG's of codetube.....love your work....man just keep up the goodwork...and yeah please give Hermy a petting from my side....

Soooo epic! Awesome video man!
Thanks a ton!
You're crushing it, keep on building it'll come out great!
Another GEM to the developer space
Love this! Building my own Job portal to finish off my extended learning experience in MERN right now :)
I really love enjoy watching your video as an accountant student🙏🏼Keep up the good work💪🏽
Bro, a genuine question, youre a solopreneur and solo coder now, all of your income is from youtube? Or you have a backup savings account or idk.
A variety of different places 😁
Hey Jacob first thing congrats on all the success! I love your channel and am an aspiring software-Dev. I graduate a BootCamp next month and would love to schedule some time with you if you do 1:1's to just gain insight and also took about my future as a dev. Look forward to hearing from you and. keep crushing it!!
🤩
Will be launching the discord soon so hop into there 😁
Jacob! NEVER stop doing what you love (and this videos because they r amazing haha..), you motivate me a lot at work. I have a question and I hope that this one doesn't sound like a privatly question. How you can still win money while working on your start up? Like u stop making videos about your on dependency job. You still have it? Love you from Argentina!!! 🇦🇷🇦🇷
Awesome Content Jacob you really do motivate me i\'ll start making vlogs once i get the equipments i am learning React js
Let’s gooo 22 minutes masterpiece💪
Loving the videos Jacob! Really inspiring as a current cs major and looking forward to the community launch! I've been following your videos religiously but I noticed there hasn't been any mention about kiki lately, are you still with them? Haha just curious.
brb I need to go get productive now 😂 love the content!
finally, i was expecting for some video for a couple days 😎
Let’s gooooo. Enjoy!
Where are you hosting your frontend and backend?
Damn we uploaded at the same time
As always, great vlog man!
Thanks dude!
Great video and awesome energy!
You're probably not writing some test at that pace, are you? Do you plan to add automated test at one stage or some other quality assurance?
Have a nice and productive Weekend!
Maybe tests one day
Heyo, been watching since you were in NZ, personally only just started as a dev (currently full-stack for a python b2b saas). I was curious what db software you were using in this video (I know you've already gone over your ide and stack)? Would find it really interesting if you listed/described misc software on your laptop, go to extensions, etc. Love the video man, excited to see what's next in your journey!
I use datagrip!
I'm only 1 minute in and you got me HYPED UP
Let’s gooooooo
So, I missed your videos for the last month. Did you left the start up you were working for?
Love the video mate, im from AUS. What visa are you on if you dont mind me asking?
hi,can you please record a video about flutter and learning it?
Hey , jacob can u make a video on how to apply for jobs and get hired ?
Awesome video as always 😀 does it come a video today?
A secret to you guys….30,000 of us sitting here like 😮
Haha
Missed You G!
13:09 **laughs in dev**
Are you still working for the company that does the app on rooms for rent in NY or did you leave them?
More details to come ❤️
this is such a gift. ✌🏾
Jacob can you please tell , which vscode theme you are using here ?? 😀
Night owl
@@JacobSucksAtCode Thanks Jacob ..
Nice work :) ✌
I don't have full insight to the code, but based on what I think I understand, why not just have discord send the code to your server before you email it? Maybe I don't understand the issue, but then you 100% guarantee the code is valid when they go to use it.
I already do that, the issue is I need a way to check what code a user used in their signup and that’s the tough part
@@JacobSucksAtCode Can the discord bot not send back the user and code at the time that they enter the server? You may have already solved it, but if not could you pin an elaborate explanation of the issue?
@@TheSocialDeveloper I’ve already solved it DW. Discord doesn’t offer an easy way 😁
@@JacobSucksAtCode Okay good! That's when you know your on to something when their isn't an easy integration. Keep it up!
hey jacob , i want to learn android development with kotlin but my friends are suggesting me to learn mern stack and web development ,so what should i do now ? any suggestion from your side
Learn whatever you want. Your choice

Hmm, How good is prisma in production?
Great!
Hey jacob, what library/framework you gonna use for your frontend?
NextJS + Typescript
what about the food app you made? how is it going?
That was a fun project! I set it public on my Github
congrats on Antler!
Yo thanks!
How many years of experience do you have will development love the video!
Not many lol
I swear at the 3:40 mark there's a scene in Mr. Robot that takes place here....
Correct!!
After 5 days without hearing from you, I was getting worried bro 😁
Hahahaha
very good job Jacob! I have a doubt, how old are u??
27
what songs do you here while u are coding
Many
You've changed since you moved to NY... No more tuna and rice 😞😂
Trust me, it’s on the way back 😎
Hey!
Hey can you post your vscode settings?
Would you share it??
here i am still waiting to get atleast one interview call being an international student in usa. way too disheartened by the dreams and reality.
Great video!
Thanks dude!
You seem to take "backed by Ycombinator" as a badge of quality, first with Resend in the previous video, and now Railway. While good stuff comes from YC, there are also (unavoidably of course) many, many, many duds.
I always love your advice and small chats during the videos about coding/learning/building, that is super inspiring and your videos are so motivating. Keep it up J! Congrats on the progress on that building, I'm excited for the discord server.
I've always wanted to comment "thanks for your private key, sucker" as a prank but that's too mean to make you scour over the video 10x looking for the leak
Hahahaha
first one here
Nice Video ❤❤❤❤
Thanks!
Welcome ❤❤
I'm drinking green tea and refactoring some code while watching this video. It's feels pretty good 😀 Good luck on your project!
Hope you enjoy it!
Your Video Is Awesome ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤, thank you ❤️ ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤
I have used railway in the past. Used the database service for production database and also deploy Golang on it.
I enjoy your video. Keep it up bro.
Your vids are awesome and inspiring!
I initially got into programming because I wanted to build my own businesses, specifically tools and software that can benefit the creator economy.
I hope yours works out!
I’ll stay tuned!
These videos have been a daily ritual for me of late.
That’s awesome!
love the discipline and motivation dude... just wondering how you're affording to work on this seemingly full time.. save up from a previous job?
Details to come soon 😎
Man, I am envious. Not only do you code (I am struggling to learn) but you also do videos and editing exactly how I would like to do it. Stay cool. You are motivating me to keep striving.
What camera do you use?
Sony ZV-E1
I disliked the video because you supposed to eat 3 meals + 2 snacks and show some scenery in a software engineering vlog.
Hahahahahah
yooooooooo Jacob, could recommend a book about producivity?
Not sure! Don’t really read books too much haha
awesome video man, as usual!
the velocity of your app development is seriously impressive. I have a question though, what about unit/integration testing, do you have time for any of those?
I heard from other indie devs, that testing is slowing them down. and I agree and disagree with that at the same time, because of the quality of delivered features and future maintenance. what are your thoughts on that, from the perspective of a solo app dev?
I’m focused on building and shipping first. Focus on building test cases later
Can you maybe share some information or tips on how you make your backend file structure? I’m like really struggling with that 😅
Hi Jacob. Didn’t you move to NYC to work for a food-app startup? Did I miss a video? 🤔
Love the series man, makes me want to get back into dev.
Wow 😲Stay awesome!
Lol I'm not even a software engineer but watching your video become my routine now. Greetings from Indonesia!
Hey!!
Hey Jacob
What if I, as a creator, wants to have a free channel for some fans?
That I may like to nurture and give some sort of free content to. Without having to do this in another platform that isn’t Discord
You can simply create free channels yourself :) This app is specifically if you want to create paid channels
good stuff brother!
Yooo thanks!
You are inspiring me ⭐
Yoooooo
All of your videos are very useful for me and give me motivation to study to be a full stack developer in the future ❤❤❤, i love you man 😊😊😊😮
You can do it!
@@JacobSucksAtCode yes , I'm in high school and i will study hard to achieve this , but i live in Syria and I'm afraid from i can't travel out of it . What's your opinion help how to travel ???😊😊☺️☺️😄😄❤️❤️
Mr. Robot Parking lot?
Yessssir!
@@JacobSucksAtCode What an awesome shot! Keep up the great work!!
Hey man, it’s really nice seeing you grow here. Keep it up!
