After 5 minutes, I began reading the comments to see if anyone else thought this wedding dress shop is the worst. Glad to know others agree that the the saleswomen are rude to bring dresses over budget and they are ugly besides. Also not surprised to find out, the shop is closed due to lawsuits.

Now for that ridiculous $17,000 blue gown that looks like a costume and nothing like a wedding gown, I agree with Mr. Fabulous, get rid of it. Sell it at cost (if she can) and break even or donate it to Disney. If Kevin had not opened his mouth when (on another episode) a previous client fell in love with it, that blue dress would have been sold.

There can be hugely differing quality and cost between one tuille and another but even if all hand stitched ( which I doubt many are ) most pre made veils come from China and cost very little…it’s common for bridal salons to buy basic veils and add details to match a dress so there is obviously an added cost but when you compare cost of fabric etc to a bridal gown , most veils are definitely over priced ..when I was a florist we saw some horrendous stiff scratchy veils people had made themselves trying to cut costs , but by getting very poor quality tuille instead of a bridal quality tuille they really messed up the look they were wanting to achieve …better to get a slightly better quality tuille and gently handwash it before using to remove the stiffening products then carefully iron between two layers of white fabric to remove wrinkles or use a steamer ( steamers are also great to liven up squished silk flowers that would otherwise look rather sad ) if possible cut with good quality , long bladed shears to avoid a jagged finish especially if not hemming the edges……..if you choose an organza or similar fabric it is vital to do a finished edge or it will fray terribly…but if you’re prepared to put some time in you should be able to make a lovely veil for a fraction of the cost a bridal store would charge you .

Is it just me, but if the budget is $3,000 why are dresses being shown to the bride well above $3000... just asking for a friend... lol!😊
Shouldn't the gown take the brides breath away, does it really need to "WOW" the Entourage?🤔
    Bride: we're spending $100,000 on the wedding what's 10,000 more ($$$)
People with sense: $4,000 more then what you've got to spend (eye rolls)🙄

It's not just the dress. Alterations are extra and every dress gets alterations, they're always ordered too large and taken in so they fit perfectly. Jewelry, a veil and showy headpieces in bridal salons can add up to as much as a wedding dress. So when mom says $6K, she's actually going to be spending more like $8K before it's over.

the rest of our wedding - cake, florals, food, honeymoon suite at an infamous & historical 5 star hotel was all paid for by my family.
Total, probably $5,000. And this is in Southern California

Actually, I always wish to see this kind of dresses on SYTTD but they rarely are seen,I have to agree like most people in the comments that on SYTTD they definitely care more about the consumers.
I guess that it’s more about style, indeed I am not even old(I am literally 17 years old) but the most popular wedding dresses style nowadays don’t please me , even in the early 2000,the “plain and simple” ones were chic and way more pleasing to my eyes than nowadays.
