Agree. My cousin had a stillborn at 36 weeks and my aunt baptized the baby herself because they wouldn’t allow a priest in to do it. But Catherine’s compassion here was amazing. It reminds me of what my own mother (a retired physician named Kathleen) would say. And ironically, the cousin who had a stillborn is named Katy for Kathryn.
@@ErinFindsHerWay thank you for sharing. I lost my baby at 8 months. Not religious so just had to give birth and go home. Was along time ago but still working through it. I hope you guys are okay now. Us girls have to stick together ❤️
It is considered an abortion but the proper term is an early induction. She chose to keep him comfortable but not to treat him. She had him and decided to have him so she could meet him and let him die as comfortably as possible in her arms
April (Sarah Drew) performance was so earned...
Catherine was amazing when speaking to April about this
I agree
I feel that she became the mom that Jackson and April both needed in that time of grief

In the last scene she had an abortion?
She doesn't have an abortion. Her baby has an incurable disease. She induces labor and the baby dies.
