Depends on how far it is and it's access to the actual socket strip of the extension lead from the plug top. If it's inaccessible at both ends you would need to make a note of it so you don't risk damaging anything whilst needing to move large obstructions like furniture etc.
You didn’t show a visual inspection, you should always visually check an appliance before tearing it as if it fails a visual their is no point in pat testing the appliance.

if one side of an extension lead is connected to electricity from one side and it's unreachable, is it ok to test it from the other side only?
