My cousin is a young "EMO" teen who loves this band. Whenever we go to family events theres a strange tension because the entire rest of the family thinks gothic and emo are the same thing. +wouldn't you like to know Well casual insults help. heres a example from christmas a few weeks ago I walk into my uncles house (he hosts Christmas) i see her in the living room. she has bright green and pink eye makeup with pink hair to match, no lipstick. i have my standard silver, black and midnight blue set up. Me: It looks like a rainbow threw up on your head and somehow missed your lips Her: You know if you hug ANYONE with that there going to be marked for the day Me: Yea...So????? Her: your presents are under the tree... not that you can get them in those shoes (i had heeled boots) Me: i can see over crowds this way and Its at this point that i break up laughing cause i cant keep up the act any longer. we hug and just as she predicted theirs a bit of black makeup on her perfect pastel face.
Kyber Cat 😂, I have all sorts of friends, one is really girly, one is huge(tall) and knows how to fight, the other is funny and awkward, the other one is down to earth she doesn't like trends and she's friends with everyone
Don't worry, that's what happens with family members, they just... it's a complicated topic for them, my mom still thinks I'm emo even tho I've been goth and dark inclined for decades now lol.
heartfullbutterfly I didn't know that's something people do! To me it's an obvious thing to recognize that some music from genres you don't normally listen to can be good, and that you may dislike some music from your favorite genres. I agree with Puss in Biker Boots though, I also keep up with genres to make it easier to find things I'll like (and also because it's convenient to have words to use when people ask what sort of music I'm into)
I went to a black veil brides concert last night, it was absolutely brilliant and they sound really good live. I highly recommend going to see what it's like.
@@cobykendrick127 I had the same experience. The opening act played for an hr. Andy leaves the stage after 20 minutes. The rest plays instrumental music for a while. I completely lost interest afterwards.
IDK my vow feels like a B grade metal band, in general this band is a mixed bag in nearly every way from what I have listened to.....They go from whiny rock(last one) to emo (In the end, fallen angel), then like shit punk rock (rebel love song) and then badass metal (My vow) all in the space of a few songs Rise against and the offspring all the way btw XP
Hey! But guess what? Black Friday, Have you ever listened to Evanescence? I don't think they're goth, and they may not be your style, but I think you should react to Bring Me To Life, Going Under, Sweet Sacrifice, Lithium, or Thoughtless (KoRn cover). Skyler Richardson They’re “gothic rock” they are not. They LOOK gothy more so dark, but they’re not actually gothic or goth music. They are dark and somewhat spooky in some songs. But that’s it. Goth is an actual music type and subculture. Lots of dark things are called goth for no reason nowadays. They are mislabeled they are 90s rock, or alt metal. Amy Lee was inspired by GRUNGE music and some blues like Blue Oyster Cult. They are darkly inclined rock if you will. The theme is dark, the music composition is pure generic-esque 90s alt metal or nu metal/rock. Metal or any kind of music can be really dark and almost gothish but not actual goth. Halloween music can be dark but not goth for example. Nothing wrong with dark things. I enjoy Evanescence (nothing against them) and anything dark including some goth music. Fuck even if dark christmas music was put into a band I’ll go for it.
Ok.... I guess some goths may like evanescence ... personally I like two or three songs and the aesthetic in some videos, but evanescence is not goth music AT ALL.
I was OBSESSED with their music when I was an edgy teen, but hearing them now?! I’m in love with them all over again!! Andy will always have a place in my heart🖤🖤
As a nearly 30 yr old Goth, I adore Black Veil Brides and the messages they give. Been a fan for mamy years now. I wouldn't call anything past their first album 'emo'. They've matured their rock sound very well. The lead singer's solo album is bomb as well and takes on a more classic sound.
I'm a 45 yr old 'goth' and love the Black Veil Brides. I am more 'goth' in style but my music taste is more wide spectrum. I do like Rock too and 'emo' as well but I don't think its right to only listen to 'Goth' music and dismiss all other genres because it doesn't conform to your 'style'. A lot of music can have great lyrics, great vibe etc. I don't just want to listen to Sisters of Mercy, Cure or Fields of the Nephlim.
Andy's vocals definitely improved compared to the last ten years that he's been singing for Black Veil Brides. I always during my near-ten years of being a fan of the band that people often praise the instrumentals of the band, but considered Andy's vocals to be something that is holding back the band... which I tend to agree, despite that they're my favorite band and don't find his vocals to be that bad. I think with the amount of the vocal training he's been doing ever since the production of Set The World On Fire after criticism of his vocals, along with cutting down and quitting his heavy smoking addiction, his vocals are starting to sound more strong then they did before. I do enjoy this review that you did here, and it's always cool to hear an unbiased/honest review of material made by my favorite bands. I wonder if you ever heard of the Japanese symphonic metal band, Versailles, because they seem to be something that you might enjoy when it comes to elegant ballads that you praised the last track of Vale for. :)
Meli Missfit Yea his singing has improved but I really really don't like the way he sings.. Like to me it sounds like he really presses it out and I don't like it at all..
I will say their music has definitely improved since 10 years ago. I've been a fan since I was 13 (im 21 now) and I gotta say this albums sounds like it could be my favorite so far. I will have to buy this or listen to it on spotify when it comes out. depending if i'll have money lol
“Some guy who sounds like he’s half dead singing about bleak landscapes. To the background of a guitar with the reverb turned way up to eleven, a grumbly bass line, and a drum machine.” Hollow Hills... poor Kevin Haskins, drummer of Bauhaus, but he does sound like a drum machine.
It's Black Friday yeah I know what you’re saying. It just seemed funny to me because I always describe Bauhaus’s drummer as a drum machine. Thank you for giving me your time and I love your videos.
There's no doubt in my mind they're a talented band with a big fan base so when people say they're rubbish my reaction is usually well I don't like them either, not my cuppa tea but I wouldn't say they're crap just coz I don't like them. I've heard truly horrendous gibberish music and that band don't deserve that label in my opinion. Musical opinions are a funny thing, I suppose it's a little like food you either like it or you don't. I prefer The Cure, Bauhaus, Sisters of Mercy, She past Away etc but that's just me 😊
I`ve never understood the whole shouting from the rooftops 'i hate Emos and their music' thing. That kinda crap might be impressive to eejits and other like minded, silly folk but i just think - nobody else fucking cares that you hate them or the music they wanna listen to, seriously literally no-one gives a fuck get over it. And yeah some very young people and others not familiar with certain kinds of music may confuse it with being Gothic but it`s hardly the crime of the century for fuck sake lol. I`m nearly 40, not once have i been asked if i`m into the emo thing but if someone did i`d just say no but i have friends that like it. Standing there like a pompous, butthurt asshat over a simple question is a bit childish
I'm not Emo or Goth but it still surprises me that people these days still have the mindset that their sub-culture is superior to all others. The comment section of a RUclips video is a bad example but take a 5 minute stroll through them and you'll see what I'm talking about.
I think the reason they believe so is because they don't fit the stereotypes they are often portraited in. And they are often young and don't realise this superiority complex and stereotypes are harmful.
there's a whole lot of people in the comments acting very superior with thier 'gothier than thou' music tastes. like good for you, you can offer criticism of a band you don't like respectfully, especially on a video that was essentially made with BVB fans in mind. they aren't the band for me but freya said it herself-- if people are into this sort of thing, they will like it. thank you for another lovely video, friday 💀👍
Vivisection is Scientific Fraud Some of you 'gothier than thou' are asshole for thinking new bands like BVB are like that. Plus, Jake and Jinxx are one of the best guitarrist in the new generation. You only hate the band because of the look.
I am so happy that you made this video. You gave your honest opinion and you gave them a shot with an open mind. I actually didn't expect you to like the certain tracks they offered 😂 regardless your opinion is valid and everyone should have that similar state of mind when listening to any musicians. Much respect. Thank you goth queen ❤
It's important to me to be honest, never going to say I like something if I don't, seems a daft thing to do :p Music is such a personal thing too, for sure the songs I didn't like will be much loved by many others :)
Ugandan Knuckles Trust me, when I put my username THE LIGHT BEHIND YOUR EYES, I was crying while I was typing. It's so sad that they broke up but them posting videos makes me want to cry even more and put on my black eyeliner lol
Nat O she posts the video link to twitter an hour or two before it shows up in my sub box. I don’t know if it’s a glitch or intentional, but I guess that’s where the comments are coming from.
Not giving hate but I just thought I’d let you know that Andy is not the only member of black veil brides. If you love black veil brides as much as you say you do, give credit to the other members too.
FUCK ANDY BALLSACK🖕🏼 FUCK BLACK GAY BRIDES🖕🏼 AND FUCK YOUR SOUL IN THE ASS🖕🏼 That's the least thing I could say abt a BVB listener. Such a bullshit overrated Band
Metalhead Grinder that's your opinion.... you shouldn't bully others for their opinion. Everybody had the right to an opinion, we all think diffrently. You are entitled to your opinion as they are there's. I think you should calm down dear. 😊
Well it isn't emo either... emotional hardcore is very different from bvb. Real emo would be La Dispute for example, or The Saddest Landscape. Black Veil Brides are hard rock or such and not hardcore at all. People mistake Panic! At The Disco, My Chemical Romance, Black Veil Brides etc. for Emo, but actually they aren't emo at all.
Patrizia Nifosi Finally someone said it, although I do think FOB's first album is at least somewhat emo, same goes for the first two MCR albums. Not behind those though
I really like your honesty! This is the first video i've seen from you and this won't be the last one:D I LOVE Black veil brides. I am going to a concert here in germany too*-* This music give me a feeling I can't describe. You're so awesome:D I like you:D
Yeah like why is she doing this....lol!!! Awe but so many of her fans and viewers like them...i was gonna write something more but I changed my mind....BVB ...no thanks!! Looking forward to the next REAL black Friday video.
"In the end" is white a good song from them. I think his voice is fantastic in that song. But it is totally cool that you aren't into this specific type of music!!
BVB concerts are good. But the little girls there that wont shut up ruin it. So you have to stand by the speakers and make yourself deaf for the next 2 days. It's worth it if you love the band though.
My Vow and The Outsider, the already released songs are my jam atm haha, When They Call My Name is not my current favorite, sounds more like Andy's solo album which is more like indie rock in my opinion, still good, but I listen to everything so lol. As a loyal BVB fan but goth (which is not limited, I can go from Cradle of Filth to Ivy Levan tbh) who knows BVB are far from goth but also likes music media loved to call emo (I like Minor Threat and Jawbreaker tho so I know what was actually emo music) I'm so happy you did this and I'm glad you gave your honest opinion and, kinda, liked them somehow or Andy's voice haha. As a said on your journal post on VF I adore them musically. They have a fanbase full of pop fangirls tho, and their image is not everybody's cup of tea, they hate them for that, but their music is not bad, just not for everyone... The self-proclaimed music experts (or metal experts whatever) insult them like the fangirls they complain so much about.
Ahhhh, The Outsider is awful in my opinion. Probably the most generic song on that album mixed in with a rip-off of Coffin. Just my opinion. I'll agree when they call my name does sound like andy black. My Vow has an amazing riff for both the breakdown and the main riff for the intro. Unfortunately, the first verse is lacklustre. And once again, the chorus is, unfortunately, Coffin's exact chorus (I believe with 1 key change). The fanbase is awful, you can't criticise anything without being attacked by them. The image has changed a lot (For the better, in my opinion, emo will have died out if they continued with it). I still see elements of it with song titles, but it's changed a lot! But sadly, the "Metal-Experts" will remember how they were emo. And will never forget that. Personally, The Last One, Wake Up and Dead Man Walking are the best on the album. The album itself is pretty good, certain songs I can't stand though for many reasons.
I listen to goth music and metal but I used to have a bvb emo phase and they are somehow my guilty music pleasure but from I heard from the vale album...uhh. to emo. But I still love their first two albums.
Do you have any opinions on alternative metal bands such as Breaking Benjamin, Skillet and Three Days Grace? I adore them and have for years. I went through a heavy emo phase when I was younger and saw BVB back in October of 2014 when they came to Dublin. I do miss it, I'm not gonna lie but I grew out of them soon after.
Most people who I've talked to that are her fans seem to be emo, it's not that I have anything against emos but I dislike the blurred line between the two since they're completely different things
I remember seeing this video and then the next day seeing Black Veil Brides and Asking Alexandria and that concert was fucking awesome! no shame, 22 and have been listening to this band since my early teens 😂😂🙈 What I have noticed w these epic bands is they all come out of the "emo phase" and can adapt which is awesome Classic example is prob PATD
I'm goth, and though I can appreciate the dark tone that BVB brings to there music. I feel as though it falls short of the " base darkness " that is found in traditional goth music. I've listened to BVB several times in the hopes that the tone, form and overall aesthetic might grow on me so as not to confuse a bad feeling with BVB. My final thoughts of the band was that it's a loud and edgy tone that might be fit for others in the dark alternative, it's just not for me.
I'd like to see her react to babymetal but I don't see her being a fan unless she has some hidden love for J-pop. But I could end up being completely wrong.
She did admit in a few of her older videos that she liked Japanese culture and that she can understand Japanese so there is a varied result on whether she will like them or not
I used to be a HUGE black veil brides fan. Lol I have the leggings, hoodie, tank top, t-shirt , necklace and bow 😂 I used to be a die hard fan. I was very emo also lol
Other than this new album, I own every single Black Veil Brides album in existence. 😂 I love Black Veil Brides! And yes, Andy does have a beautiful voice. That's why he's the human angel. 👼I love Andy! Great review!
My top five most favorite tracks on VALE are King of Pain, Vale (This is Where it Ends), When They Call my Name, Throw the First Stone and Our Destiny.
Black veil brides was the first band I ever fell in love with and I still love them to this day and as the years have passed they have evolved along with me, kinda like we’ve grown together
I've seen BVB 6 times over the years, the first time in 2011 when they were first becoming popular, and its amazing to see how far they've come over the years, really feel like I've watched them grow. They deserve to be where they are now. And yes, Andy's voice is just as incredible live. Cannot wait for this album!
I am a proud member of the BVB Army their earlier music helped me through a bad time in my life and as the years went on it kept me sane through terrible events.
I absolutely loathe emo music (especially since it's so constantly confused with goth in the average person's mind), but, well... you put out a new video, I have to watch!
Same here. My Local Club is Divided into a goth and an emo/screamo dance floor and most of this music sounds the same to me. If she didn't say that the album isn't even out yet I would've thought "Ah I know that song". And I actually always only walk past the emo dance floor and not dance on it...
They're such a great band! I met them last weekend and they were so nice! Their new album is different but I enjoyed it. Their best album in my opinion is wretched and divine, especially when you listen to it in order. Amazing
I appreciate your open-mindedness with the album review. You admit that it's not exactly your preferred genre of music, but you give the band/music a chance. Quite lovely.
BringMeTheSleepingChemicalPanicked!Horizon No just No. I'm sorry but My Chemical Romance Suck and if you haven't paid attention she doesn't like Emo Bands.
Shadow Knight I wouldn’t say they suck, i think their lyrics are quite clever and their songs are good, but they sound unapologetically emo, their last album does have a bit of 60s style Pysch rock in it, but i doubt shed like that either.
I am new to your channel and binged watch to your transformation videos. Great personality! 😙😊 I would like to see you react to visual kei japanese bands (eg. Versalles, jupiter, malice mizer etc. :) tia
i used to listen to black veil brides back in like 6th-7th grade and then kinda moved out of it when i moved away and stopped talking to old friends. i still truly love the band but i just don’t listen to that genre as extreme as i used to
chandalikepanda for sure her 13:13 album and stinkfist teenage Jesus and the jerks death valley 69 with sonic youth and those Richard kerns films are all amazing
"When They Call My Name" is on of my favorites from that album, at the gig I was Andy (the singer) dedicated it to us and I stood with mouth wide open almost crying my eyes out. Then they made music video out of that, I cried again and only saw my phone case in the shot - go me :D
I have a question, last night on your snapchat there was a song that peaked my interest, I was wondering what was the song? I'm sorry I'm curious. And I'm also really excited for the new BVB album!😄👍
BVB are obviously not goth music, no question there, but apparently I don't know what 'emo' music is because to me 'emo' music is stuff like Dashboard Confessional. Whichever it is though I'm alright not knowing really.
I'm so happy the album is finally out. I can't wait for the concert tomorrow! I'm glad you gave them another listen. You might try looking at their last 3 albums in order. (Wretched and Divine: The Story Of The Wild Ones, their self titled album, and Vale.) They actually tell the story introduced in Wretched and Divine. There is even a movie made for Wretched and Divine. Vale is the wrapping up of the story, hence the sorta sad song at the end. And if you ever get the chance to see them on tour, you should. They are incredible live. I've seen them 4 times already. Tomorrow is 5.
Natalie Parker Same, when I was 13 I listened to taking back Sunday and falling in reverse. Now I'm 14 (ik it wasn't so long ago, go figure) and I listen to KISS, Queen, Mötley Crüe, and Aerosmith, lol. Although I do enjoy SOME emo music, but I'm more into 80's punk/biker style now :P
Janise Romero same, i mean i still listen to some emo, like MCR, BVB, and paramore (guilty pleasure), but I’m mainly into punk and metal now, Sex Pistols, ramones, BMTH, ozzy, New York dolls, etc. the guitarist to MCR actually started a punk band, like a REAL punk band not pop punk, and its good as fuck if you’re interested.
I'm a fan of Alternative and Grunge and some Heavy Metal and i never been a fan of Emo bands or Gothic music sorry if that offends anyone but i like what i like and the same with you but this band is alright i don't think they are great but just ok in my opinion and honestly their has only been one band that I've heard and seen that truly impressed me and that band is Nirvana and i actually got a chance to meet Kurt Cobain before his death and got his autograph and took a pic with him that was one of the best day's of my life and since Nirvana their hasn't been a band that blow my socks off or impressed me so far but maybe one day I'll find another great band like Nirvana and honestly i hate the music of today it seems to me they are more interested in becoming rich and famous then putting out great songs or music like they used to and to me no one or no band is original or creative or even unique anymore and they all sound the same to me.
Have you heard of Dr Steel? I think he stopped making music, but the songs he came out with in my opinion clashed music genres. Some people say he started the steam punk genre but idk about that.
Kris Cobain No i haven't but I'll check him out and give it a try. I'll let you know what i think once I've listened to several of his songs and thanks for the suggestion.
Kris Cobain Hey after listening to a few of his tracks I think Dr. Steel is very creative and somewhat Original but as far as his music goes it's really not my type but I'm not saying he's not good it's just not the type of music i like it's sounds a lot like gothic music and Emo music mixed together. But i did like a couple songs , "We Decided" And Lulllaby bye bye.
"You're going to dig this album like a grave." I like that expression.
MewWolf5 are you greysexual 🌼

I’m a pop punk kid and all my friends are K-pop fans. We get along so well. It’s weird

I walk into my uncles house (he hosts Christmas) i see her in the living room. she has bright green and pink eye makeup with pink hair to match, no lipstick. i have my standard silver, black and midnight blue set up.
Me: It looks like a rainbow threw up on your head and somehow missed your lips
Her: You know if you hug ANYONE with that there going to be marked for the day
Me: Yea...So?????
Her: your presents are under the tree... not that you can get them in those shoes (i had heeled boots)
Me: i can see over crowds this way and
Its at this point that i break up laughing cause i cant keep up the act any longer. we hug and just as she predicted theirs a bit of black makeup on her perfect pastel face.
I don't pay attention to genres of music, I just listen to what I enjoy.
Hannah Ruble same. If music is good, why try to not like it because it's not in your music genre?
I pay attention to genres cause it helps me find other bands in that genre but it doesn't stop from listening to what I want.
heartfullbutterfly I didn't know that's something people do! Same
I went to a black veil brides concert last night, it was absolutely brilliant and they sound really good live. I highly recommend going to see what it's like.
It's Ashley's birthday today
Velvet Power i wasnt to impressed i heard 3 songs and they left the stage

“That boy can sing damn!”
Yes he can. He really can.
Waterparks x PalayeRoyale I enjoy your username lol
Andy Biersack is BVB's leaf singer or Andy Black when he's performing solo. A great band
Yes he can
THUMBS UP IF YOU WANT A VIDEO WHERE SHE TALKS ABOUT HER FAVOURITE METAL BANDS! 😻
Hyysteria id rather hear her favorite goth bands instead. Love to see what we have in common or get new things in my playlists!
Hyysteria yes i would love that
YES
Hi
This should be top comment! haha!
"Oh god that boy can sing" literally me, that's the reason I started listening to them😂
Leila Mathias-Hayes right??
Leila Mathias-Hayes Honestly though, even Lost it All is good cause bass vocals on point
Yup he can
From the look & the sound of the clips you've played they sound like an emo band who grew up to become a glam rock band, but never quite lost the emo.
Honestly that description fits perfectly for I've always felt about this band.
IDK my vow feels like a B grade metal band, in general this band is a mixed bag in nearly every way from what I have listened to.....They go from whiny rock(last one) to emo (In the end, fallen angel), then like shit punk rock (rebel love song) and then badass metal (My vow) all in the space of a few songs
Rise against and the offspring all the way btw XP
Skiamakhos...Yeeeeess! I couldn't of put it better myself my friend. 👍
Hey! But guess what? You can't say these guys haven't stuck to their guns...They have always been Emo & have always wanted to be Emo, so hey as an alternative individual...Even if it's not my thing, we can appreciate that they never stopped being themselves, in a way & isn't that how we all strive to be here. I mean, not my gig, but I do see the value in staying true to oneself. 🎸💀
pretty accurate !
I can't say they're my cup of tea, but you reviewed it, we listened to it together, and we both gave it a chance. Take that, Gothic elitism!
Black Friday, Have you ever listened to Evanescence? I don't think they're goth, and they may not be your style, but I think you should react to Bring Me To Life, Going Under, Sweet Sacrifice, Lithium, or Thoughtless (KoRn cover). (It would be nice if there were a keyboard with backwards letters so I could spell KoRn correctly.)
Rock Music Is Perfection lol agree with the keyboard thing
Just add a Russian keyboard... Then you can have KoЯn
It should be available in the languages settings on your phone.

Mystical Potato Queen I feel you girl
Mystical Potato Queen SAAAAMME
Mystical Potato Queen sis me2 ❤😻💀👌👑
Literally same!! Making me think of when I saw them in concert and met them at their listening party for BVBIV
Mystical Potato Queen me too I’ve loved them for 3 Years now and I will continue to love them
As a nearly 30 yr old Goth, I adore Black Veil Brides and the messages they give. Been a fan for mamy years now. I wouldn't call anything past their first album 'emo'. They've matured their rock sound very well.

Fancy coming across you in the comments section. Hiya, I'm a fan of your channel.
Isaki Tahashi Each album tells a different story and has its own message, but they’re all connected at the same time.
Yeah. I think we stitch these wounds is a little emo but everything else is just rock. I don't get the stigma they get sometimes.
I'm a 45 yr old 'goth' and love the Black Veil Brides. I am more 'goth' in style but my music taste is more wide spectrum. BAMozzy and you shouldn't just listen to those bands I listen to Cruxshadows but I also listen to MIW and BVB

Versailles are really good. And also the songs Kamijo does outside of the band.
No melodyne has improved
Ive been a Black Veils Brides fan since the beginning and now Andy Biersack has a movie out called American Satan in case u would like u watch it ❤❤🤘
Lizzie FaZeFaN Lmao she went at the movie premiere
Horrifying Inspiration420 how about that new bassist
Elaine Bueller now that's that shit I like.
Yes!!!! Elaine and Freya...be nice....j/k I know what you meant...lol
My kind of music.
Just generalising, a lot of goth rock bands do use drum machines, it's kinda become part of the sound.
I prefer The Cure, Bauhaus, Sisters of Mercy, She past Away etc but that's just me 😊
TheCoffinLodger Nicely put! Exactly how I feel about it.
BVB and other pop punk bands are not emo. Emo is a genre of bands like Funeral Diner.
We need more respectful people like you in this world
Some of us just have a problem with bands that bend over for the record label with no integrity, originality or balls.
Vivisection is Scientific Fraud Some of you 'gothier than thou' are asshole for thinking new bands like BVB are like that. Plus, Jake and Jinxx are one of the best guitarrist in the new generation. You only hate the band because of the look.
Exactly it’s so annoying when goth elitists insult emos like that they’re completely valid and there is some really good emo music out there
Just to state it's obvious I'm Emo.
It's obvious I love Black Veil Brides.
I've dedicated a lot to look like Andy.
It's Black Friday This is why I adore you ❤ I love that you are always so genuine
It's Black Friday I like the tracks you picked. Think you can tell me their names?
Vocaloiding Viva The Last One and Wake up
Ema Marjanovic tooo brate neko hrvatski 😆😄😄 napokon neko i ko jos razumije
I'm an old BVB fan, but still loyal 💚
Taylor Thatcher me too. since 2013!
Queen LOOKING GORGEOUS AS ALWAYS 😗😗😗😍😍😍🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤
PaganOrchids4 she posted the link on Twitter
I love Black Veiled Brides so much I can’t explain it
YES BVB! In all honest I love Black Veil Brides. I've been listening to them ever since I was 7 years old and they are just amazing
Why do you have to make ur username that it makes me cry
Ugandan Knuckles Trust me, when I put my username THE LIGHT BEHIND YOUR EYES, I was crying while I was typing. It's so sad that they broke up but them posting videos makes me want to cry even more and put on my black eyeliner lol
"It's Black Friday uploaded a video 7 minutes ago"
*see's comments from an hour ago*
Wut?
Nat O Right?! THATS WEIRD!
Nat O she posts the video link to twitter an hour or two before it shows up in my sub box. I don’t know if it’s a glitch or intentional, but I guess that’s where the comments are coming from.
Dude same thing happened here
karen macleod
*Patreons
Nat O ay nice pfp
I LOVE Andy Biersack
I LOVE Black Veil Brides
And BLESS your soul
Metalhead Grinder sorry i did not saw that
Not giving hate but I just thought I’d let you know that Andy is not the only member of black veil brides. If you love black veil brides as much as you say you do, give credit to the other members too.
FUCK ANDY BALLSACK🖕🏼
FUCK BLACK GAY BRIDES🖕🏼
AND FUCK YOUR SOUL IN THE ASS🖕🏼
That's the least thing I could say abt a BVB listener.
Such a bullshit overrated Band
Metalhead Grinder that's your opinion.... you shouldn't bully others for their opinion. Everybody had the right to an opinion, we all think diffrently. You are entitled to your opinion as they are there's. I think you should calm down dear. 😊
Never Nevertheless honestly stop bieng so......... Horrible
*immediate search for Sisters of Mercy vid to get myself right*😄😈
Honestly same here
Bouta be me
Poisoned Pinup that's funny, me too...I was just thinking this..lol
It's gonna be some black metal of some kind for me.
Same
Well it isn't emo either... emotional hardcore is very different from bvb.
Lol the only thing emo about them is the people who listen to it
Shelsea Cuevas i listen BVB and i'm not emo, you can be emo and listening BVB but it doesn't mean they are really emo lol.
ForeverDreamWithinADream BVB is glam metal and hard rock, their first album BVB was a mix of metalcore and glam metal= glamcore XD
Yeah agreed BVB aren’t emo, like you said the label “emo” is mostly overused and misused by people, especially in terms of music.
Patrizia Nifosi Finally someone said it, although I do think FOB's first album is at least somewhat emo, same goes for the first two MCR albums. Not behind those though
I really like your honesty! This is the first video i've seen from you and this won't be the last one:D
I LOVE Black veil brides. I am going to a concert here in germany too*-*
This music give me a feeling I can't describe.
You're so awesome:D I like you:D
I’m actually going to a black veil brides concert this Friday and I’m so excited
Fuled by ramune have fun, I’m seeing them in 13 days
Jaycie take me senpai
my jaw dropped when i read the title
Yeah like why is she doing this....lol!!! Awe but so many of her fans and viewers like them...i was gonna write something more but I changed my mind....BVB ...no thanks!! Looking forward to the next REAL black Friday video.
Me too, i tought the album was launched 2 days early! I'm going to see them in London the 27th and i need to learn the lyrics! :D
lucky! ive always wanted to see them live!
In the end is one of my favorites from BVB
Bread loaf The fanbase actually is pure shit
I’m glad you like his voice at least 🖤
I listen to goth music and metal but I used to have a bvb emo phase and they are somehow my guilty music pleasure but from I heard from the vale album...uhh. to emo. But I still love their first two albums.
tbh its nice to see her not hating on them /because/ they're emo, i feel like too many goths get really immature about subculture rivalry.
MiaTheWatermelon Hey just want to say I like your shirt on your thumbnail because Nirvana is my absolute favorite band.
I love Three Days Grace, Breaking Benjamin, and Skillet!
Yes Breaking Benjamin! That's one of my favorite bands
I like these bands too
Breaking Benjamin is amazing. I strongly suggest listening to a couple of their acoustic takes, especially "So Cold". It's incredible.
The fact that most of Black Fridays fans are emo throws me off...
But idk what I am, they call goth they call me emo I just wanna wear black so I don't have to deal with colours 😂😂😂😂
Is being a weeb better
Most people who I've talked to that are her fans seem to be emo, it's not that I have anything against emos but I dislike the blurred line between the two since they're completely different things
Most emos tend to be weebs too ? lmfao I never said it was a bad thing
MEH I'm bvb fan and I'm completely not emo
I remember seeing this video and then the next day seeing Black Veil Brides and Asking Alexandria and that concert was fucking awesome! no shame, 22 and have been listening to this band since my early teens 😂😂🙈
What I have noticed w these epic bands is they all come out of the "emo phase" and can adapt which is awesome
Classic example is prob PATD
I'm goth, and though I can appreciate the dark tone that BVB brings to there music. I feel as though it falls short of the " base darkness " that is found in traditional goth music. I've listened to BVB several times in the hopes that the tone, form and overall aesthetic might grow on me so as not to confuse a bad feeling with BVB. My final thoughts of the band was that it's a loud and edgy tone that might be fit for others in the dark alternative, it's just not for me.
it’s black friday + black veil brides = literally my favorite thing ever
Was anyone else hypnotized by her fashion
It's amazing
I like see more goth reacts certain music videos. Please do Babymetal next!
I'd like to see her react to babymetal but I don't see her being a fan unless she has some hidden love for J-pop. But I could end up being completely wrong.
Snotmerchant I think she said a while ago she had a phase with J-pop
Oh geez, I forgot about babymetal, I used to listen to them all the time
Yess that would be cool:D
She did admit in a few of her older videos that she liked Japanese culture and that she can understand Japanese so there is a varied result on whether she will like them or not
BVB help me though my highschool depression. I love them so much!!!
Saame
I think your fans like your reaction cause one it’s honest and two it’s really cute.
BVB is my favorite band! I absolutely love their music, whenever I listen to them I am happy. I really enjoy the interviews for them too 😂
"You're going to dig this album like a grave"
Oh my gosh, that is perfect.
I used to be a HUGE black veil brides fan. Lol I have the leggings, hoodie, tank top, t-shirt , necklace and bow 😂 I used to be a die hard fan. I was very emo also lol
I can't I screamed when I saw this xD I've been wondering this for a while not gonna lie x
Other than this new album, I own every single Black Veil Brides album in existence. 😂 I love Black Veil Brides! And yes, Andy does have a beautiful voice. That's why he's the human angel. 👼I love Andy! Great review!
TheDiva LovesGlitterandGlam you must be my soulmate :D
you say that like they have a lot of albums
zac gibb they do :D
I too have all 5 of their studio albums
Vale is amazing
My top five most favorite tracks on VALE are King of Pain, Vale (This is Where it Ends), When They Call my Name, Throw the First Stone and Our Destiny.
Black veil brides was the first band I ever fell in love with and I still love them to this day and as the years have passed they have evolved along with me, kinda like we’ve grown together
I definitely fit in the trad goth subculture and I love "emo" metalcore music. I love black veiled brides
Amira E.-Sick, I’m trad. Want to be friends??...
The tracks sound much too similar. I could see myself becoming bored quite quickly.
your hair looks so great
Ta! :)
I love Black Veil Brides so much. Ever since I started listening to them, I've loved the boys and their music.
Hey freya! Do you like Type O Negative?:0
Koljuchka777 yaaaaaas!!!!!!! Peter Steele for ever!!!
The voice! Yes! The deep deep tones uff
how do you feel about my chemical romance??? :)
Avealine Evelyn I STILL HATE THEY BROKE UP😕💔🖤
it's emo as fuck
Omg I love black veil brides I love them I love them so much I'm a big fan
I am a proud member of the BVB Army their earlier music helped me through a bad time in my life and as the years went on it kept me sane through terrible events.
I have been listening BVB and BMTH since i was 9
(I am 15 now)
Good choices
for some reason I thought you meant behemoth for a second there and I was like DAMN you listened to it at nine o-o
I absolutely loathe emo music (especially since it's so constantly confused with goth in the average person's mind), but, well... you put out a new video, I have to watch!
Wendigo Heart same
I thought I was the only one. I could never get into it.
Wendigo Heart loooooovveee your username.
Same here.
My Local Club is Divided into a goth and an emo/screamo dance floor and most of this music sounds the same to me.
If she didn't say that the album isn't even out yet I would've thought "Ah I know that song". And I actually always only walk past the emo dance floor and not dance on it...
Ironic because you’re getting metalcore getting mixed up with actual emo music (Cap’n Jazz Sunny Day Real Estate etc)
Are you feeling better? You seem like you're in a really good place while you were making this video.
ck2d sandwiched between significant panic attacks lol, but I can apparently get my shit together long enough to record videos :p
Darling, what doesn't kill us makes us stronger. Win-win.
I FREAKING LOVE BVB
you should react to my chemical romance
BringMeTheSleepingChemicalPanicked!Horizon love them
BringMeTheSleepingChemicalPanicked!Horizon No just No. I'm sorry but My Chemical Romance Suck and if you haven't paid attention she doesn't like Emo Bands.
Omg I love your username 😭
Shadow Knight I wouldn’t say they suck, i think their lyrics are quite clever and their songs are good, but they sound unapologetically emo, their last album does have a bit of 60s style Pysch rock in it, but i doubt shed like that either.
BringMeTheSleepingChemicalPanicked!Horizon yes
I am new to your channel and binged watch to your transformation videos. Great personality! 😙😊 I would like to see you react to visual kei japanese bands (eg. Versalles, jupiter, malice mizer etc. :) tia
I am in my late 30s. Their lyrics speak to me....their music drives me......A bit of a reflection that’s in my head 😎🖤 🎼 🎶 🎵
I love Black Veil so much, the new album sounds amazing! Can’t wait for Vale to come out and to see it live!
OMG I love this band so damn much 😍😍😍😍😍
Have you ever listened to Three Days Grace? Their not exactly goth or emo, but they're good.
And also, I am a huge BVB fan.
I started looking at the mess after you mentioned it. Haha
I'm so excited for this album to come out! I love Black Veil Brides
I have always been a bvb fan. I love it all. Their music has grown and aged with the band and with their fans. This is what I love so much.
Please react to palaye royale, the singer of the band did the vocal for the American Satan movie
Palaye Bella yes
Palaye Bella YES
UPP
Yess
i used to listen to black veil brides back in like 6th-7th grade and then kinda moved out of it when i moved away and stopped talking to old friends. i still truly love the band but i just don’t listen to that genre as extreme as i used to
Have you ever listened to Wednesday 13?
Absinthia Venamortis I went to his concert a few months ago!
Absinthia Venamortis YEESSSSSS DO A REVIEW OF CONDOLENCES
lol it's funny cause he has a song called that too "london after midnight"
Yaaaaassss
zeregaa haha Calling All Corpses ^-^
It seems you're getting prettier every video; I love what you do! Thanks for sharing yourself with us like this.
Andy’s voice is amazing. I love them all.
to me goth music is early London after midnight Lydia Lunch's 13:13 album the vanishing 45 grave ect.. not a band like bvb
Lydia never gets the recognition she deserves.
chandalikepanda for sure her 13:13 album and stinkfist teenage Jesus and the jerks death valley 69 with sonic youth and those Richard kerns films are all amazing
She's probably not recognised because not many people know about 'no wave'
I am a HUGE Black Veil fan. They've been my favorite band for like, a year now.
Emo is usually cheesy lol
im trash same 😂😂
im trash I almost said something when I saw her picture 😂😂
They're amazing live, I got to see them last week and meet them. It sounding amazing and Vale is my favorite album
"When They Call My Name" is on of my favorites from that album, at the gig I was Andy (the singer) dedicated it to us and I stood with mouth wide open almost crying my eyes out. Then they made music video out of that, I cried again and only saw my phone case in the shot - go me :D
I AM SHAKING
I have a question, last night on your snapchat there was a song that peaked my interest, I was wondering what was the song? I'm sorry I'm curious. And I'm also really excited for the new BVB album!😄👍
I think it was 'Believe' from Eminem, it was a snapchat filter haha! Figured it was appropriate :D
It's Black Friday yes it definitely was! XD
Thank you so much for replying!❤️❤️
BVB are obviously not goth music, no question there, but apparently I don't know what 'emo' music is because to me 'emo' music is stuff like Dashboard Confessional. Whichever it is though I'm alright not knowing really.
To me emo music is music like Funeral Diner
BVB is hard rock, glam metal
You want to see them live? At the end of January they are playing shows in Germany :P
When I was 11 I liked emo music for about 5 months and then I got sick of it. Now I mainly listen to a bunch of various 80's music.
Natalie Parker Ever tried old school 80s Gothic rock? Like Sister of Mercy.
Henry Austin Yup yup yup. I love Sisters of Mercy as well as the other big gothic 80's bands.
That's literally what happened to me, I just started listening to The Cure and Siouxsie and Bauhaus and I was hooked.
Casually questioning how you already have the album on the 9th when as you said, it doesn't come out till the 12th?
THEWILDONESAPPEAR Sponsored video
Emily Rachel Gilley oh right, I saw that in the description but I was too dumb to realise what it meant xD :P
Samples.
Eva Lima actually ya, makes sense x
MY NAME IS VALENTINA AND PEOPLE CALL ME VALE CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT I HAVE AN ALBUM NOW
the band that got me into rock when i was 14, still love them now that im 20, sooo proud of them.
I'm absolutely in love with your videos
No problem im looking foward to your opinion of him.
Raven.....Youre so Raven
Kris Cobain Hey after listening to a few of his tracks I think Dr. Steel is very creative and somewhat Original but as far as his music goes it's really not my type but I'm not saying he's not good it's just not the type of music i like it's sounds a lot like gothic music and Emo music mixed together. But i did like a couple songs , "We Decided" And Lulllaby bye bye.
