I remember my dad using a pair of those hand clippers on me as a kid. I still have the school photo showing the cut. 😂 Year later I remember cutting his hair. Trying to be funny, I wanted him to feel some kind of way, instead he liked it, got up and said nothing. I didn’t give him bad cut, he just wasn’t as concerned as much about his haircut as I was about mine. After I became a barber, the first thing I wanted to do was give my dad a professional haircut. Unfortunately, he had passed. Seeing those hand clippers again took me back to a memorable time. ❤

Thats radical that you're using the classic clippers, but i doubt its the noise thats making him sleepy, as a Barber myself, the fact that their getting groomed and they can relax and let go of control for a moment of the daily worries such as work and what not, this moment is for them, this grooming time is for them, its in our hands after the consultation and they can just let go, notice how his are are almost immediately shut as hes in the chair and you start to cut, this is the moment where as the client we can just let go, ahhhh...

Bro tbh i want these just because they are classic but watching the video on cutting hair with them is boring but they would also be handy if there's ever a no power situation for a while the simple shears over comb or classic clippers over comb... can a wahl clipper guard fit on these or no does anyone even try that with these? I perfer machine clippers better but like i said if it comes down to having to use them they would be there. And if you are thinking about machine clippers the Jrl machine clippers are very quiet not to loud at all the all black ones
