Thanks once again for sharing this Ross, a truly epic adventure, loved the footage and scenery, couldn't agree with you more on the reward of views for effort, I definitely have this area on my trek list, the boss didn't seem keen unfortunately, so a solo mission, looking at Peru in September for 22 days, but the bloody Peruvians are falling out with their president, so could be Nepal after all 🇳🇵😁😉. Cheers keep on keeping on.
@@rosstetlowadventures9751 yes, right upto the tiny little plane!! With recent events in Pokhara its hard to watch! I've personally done the flight in and out of Lukla... Brown trouser time, the valley of landslips and the exposed paths over the precipices looked interesting, you can't beat Nepali Bridge engineering can you 🤣
Hope you enjoyed visiting upper Dolpo. I'm from upper Dolpo .Tinje. There are few more villages, like Vijer to shimen. Shimen to Phal, Phal to Tinje and Polde village, from there you can choose two routes one leads to Tarap village and another leads to Charka village, it is different route where we can reach Santa village to Mustang, Muktinath, Mustang to Pokhara or Kathmandu
@@rosstetlowadventures9751 yes sir. I personally don't really prefer these on going changes but I can't help. Because most of people are running after benefits for today.
@@theotherworldfeed hello there , a combination of GoPro 11 and I phone for video and still images was my Nikon Z7ii. You have to keep flipping them around as battery management is hard work, no electricity up there so I had a big solar panel on my back
Hey enjoyed these videos thanks very much - I've trekked elsewhere in Nepal, but this is a region I've always wanted to go to the most, so making some plans. A couple of questions - 1. Exactly what time of year were you there? October? The weather looks amazing. 2. I had thought you have to go on a group with at least two people? How did you manage to organise with just yourself and a guide? Did you have to pay for two permits? Thanks in advance.
thank you for capturing this wonderful part of the world.

Late October, and initially set off with a group but they all turned back very early on so me and the guide decided to carry on 😎
