you can fit that one..remove air on positive side then add air on the negative side..it will shorten, just align it to the holes..after mounting..add air to the positive side according to your desired compression

Donkey D thank you!! I was really just looking to make the upgrade. I like the looks of the air shocks better but if I could only get one to fit the rear I would prefer they be uniform. They make a 152mm length which is what I'm going to get. They should have given you more than just the model number, but also the length to buy. Also with these air shocks, you gotta get the air pump for it. Let the air out of the shock so you can get it on the scooter, then increase the air pressure to the pressure you need

I would like to do something same on my zero 10x from the standard red. Also, what are those light on you have on both side of the scooter by the kick stand? Would you be able to do a video about it and how to install and what are they for?
You’re too observant! 😊 I got the lights on the side installed but haven’t wired them up. They are emergency strobes. I wanted to have them because the trail I take to and from work and also to and from the charger for my car I have had some close calls with smaller animals......skunks, squirrels, and even a deer! So I’m hoping the strobes with scare them off when they see me coming. I will absolutely do a video for you. So I saved myself the headache and paid someone 65 bucks to powder coat the arms along with the stem collar. Vinyl works good too but just isn’t gonna be a long term solution. Plasti dip could be an alternative too. That would be a very cheap alternative but the longevity would be my only concern with plasti dip. Thanks again for watching and the comments!
@@ADayintheLifeofMr23 Maaan, I thought you have used something like a spray paint, doing a multiple coats and would of been able to recommend me the one to use it. Definitely agree that is better to pain the arms off that use the vinyl or the plastic, plus it's easier to clean them off from the mood. Will wait your next video as they are awesome and maybe see some ideas I can implement to my Zero 10x. Also just a quick one, where did you mount your GoPro/account camera usually on your scooter and how are u fix it there, what mount?
HolidayCountdown I used the rear foot step and the mount I used has a clamp and is adjustable all around so it makes it pretty universal for most application. I was a little worried the arm wouldn’t keep the camera steady enough but paired with the stabilization on the GoPro I really pleased with how the footage turned out. I’m absolutely obsessed with this scooter so I can guarantee I’ll be adding more bits here and there. Really appreciate the support!
Yes, it will work for the 10x. Even though they look similar the suspension on the 10x is bigger. Makes sense though since the tires are 2” larger on the 10x, just was really hoping I could try it out. The smallest shocks I can find are 125mm or 150mm. 125 I fear will be too small and won’t have enough travel. The 150 I’m also afraid might be too big. One other video I’ve seen a person was able to use a 145mm for the front shock on their 10x. But for the life of me I can’t seem to locate a shock that size. Thanks for watching and for the comment!

For the 10 X you can get air shock
Yes, it will work for the 10x. Even though they look similar the suspension on the 10x is bigger. Makes sense though since the tires are 2” larger on the 10x, just was really hoping I could try it out. The smallest shocks I can find are 125mm or 150mm. 125 I fear will be too small and won’t have enough travel. The 150 I’m also afraid might be too big. One other video I’ve seen a person was able to use a 145mm for the front shock on their 10x. But for the life of me I can’t seem to locate a shock that size.
Thanks for watching and for the comment!
I replaced my 11x with 165mm airshocks, 8x would.def.be way too small for 165 lol
That’s what I get for not verifying it myself. I just figured by asking they would know for sure. But it’s ok. How do you like the 11x?? What’s been your top speed?
@@ADayintheLifeofMr23 lol yeah they'll tell u anything to make a sell, 11x has been great so far I hit 55 on gps and ran out of road 😀 im only 135lb so I feel I can achieve 60 with the proper road, really stable I also added a damper lol
That’s incredible! That thing is seriously a beast!
that's the shock for the zero 10x. it has 165mm rear shock and 140mm front shock
Definitely found out the hard way. I did reach out to falcon PEV who sells the shock and they did say it would work on the 8X....but it absolutely doesn’t. Haha. Thanks for the comment!
Take your own measure .always
Jean-marie fait tout you’re right, lesson learned for sure. Thanks for watching!
? Coudent u let the air out of the shock and bam ur good u can fit it together
Hey there. Thanks for the comment. I could do that but the issue would be the shock can’t fully extend so I would lose a lot of the functionality of the shock. So for sure that would work to make it fit but the shock wouldn’t perform as well. Thanks again!
@@ADayintheLifeofMr23 did u know u can order a zero 11x from titan group manufacturer off alibaba that sells the scooters to zero and all the other manufacturers for a fraction of the cost to my country it costs 2500$ with shipping
@@Maykay1312 I have seen other scooters on sites like that for a lot cheaper as well. That should be a lot of fun. I’ve been looking at the 11x for a while! That thing is a beast!
@@ADayintheLifeofMr23 ye same only thing is u can find it for a lot cheaper but its not just worth it ur gona lose money in the long run getting a better battery because the cheaper models of the 11x have a chineze battery and its probably not gona be any good and the only one i looked at is original 72v 32ah lg battery i just need to get some money so i can order it off alibaba cant wait
@@Maykay1312 I know what you mean! These things are super fun. You gotta let me know when you get yours. The price tag on the 11x is definitely pretty steep but seems well worth it for the performance you get
8x front & rear is 135mm,10x front 135mm , rear 165mm
Just finding a 135mm is the problem. 😩
@@ADayintheLifeofMr23 rockshox have 145mm , SENQI have 135mm
Kin Man Chuk thanks for that! I’ll take a look at those brands. Have you used either?
@@ADayintheLifeofMr23 No, I just bought zero 8x
Kin Man Chuk very cool! I will definitely consider those options though. I was able to find them on amazon too. Thanks again for the comment!
So they didn't recommend what u needed? Is their fault lol they don't even know the product lol
Yeah it was disappointing for sure. But the shocks on the 8X aren’t terrible so I don’t know if it’s needed. 🤷🏻♂️ thanks for watching
@@ADayintheLifeofMr23 got a 10x here. Happy to watch your videos and discover more about the product. I need to get that new clamp ASAP
Hey lil bro. Bought another 50lb scooter 800w. Its a beast in its own right. Probably going to be my daily rider. Still love my 8x but I was wondering is there anyway to adjust the suspension? I feel like its to tough/tight. You really feel it when going on cobblestone and such.
That’s legit! I’ve been considering getting something too like a skateboard or something not so dang heavy. There is a way to adjust the 8x. The nut that sits on top of the spring. You’ll see there are threads on that. Just tighten or loosen that bit there and it will adjust the ride. 👍🏼
Thanks bro.You should do a VIDEO. I think it would be a hit! Check out the specs on my other scooter. Its a JOYOR Y9. I LOVE IT!!
