Where To See Elk In North Carolina | Elk Watching In Cataloochee Valley

- After leaving the hustle and bustle of the Tennessee side of the Great Smoky Mountains. Our goal was to see elk in North Carolina! After doing some research, we found that Cataloochee Valley was a great place to view elk on the North Carolina side of the Great Smoky Mountains. We booked one of the few remaining sites at Pride Resort in Waynesville, North Carolina and wasted no time in heading straight to Cataloochee Valley!
My wife were there this week for the first time. The first time either have seen Elk. The rut was on! We got to hear them bugle all over the valley.
It is an amazing thing to experience and they are absolutely majestic! Thank you so much for watching!

Been to Colorado 8 times and never saw Elk. Went to Cherekoee last week and my God we saw a ton :) It was just AMAZING ! Big Boys
Cherokee is great! Cataloochee Valley is a neat drive across the mountain and down into the valley. The elk are everywhere in there as well! Thanks for watching!
Gatlinburg is always packed. Great wildlife sightings. loved that reflection in the lake. what an unforgettable experience.

😱LOVE the footage you guys were able to capture! I remember seeing a lot of Elk in Yellowstone, but never saw any bulls like you guys were able to capture. Really spectacular creatures. Man some of those colors at 12:30 really are incredible. We are starting to see a lot of changes with the trees here in Colorado. Keep up the great work you guys!
