you paying for the connivence of having a phone on top of the camera ......... in case you forget to switch to airplane mode is going to ruin the shoot , but got his people to want this , Tremendo video Armando como siempre !!!
Well if you want 10 bit 422 out of some cameras that don't record that internally, you can use this. And it's far cheaper than an Atomos Ninja V+, which is basically what it matches features with. If you just plan on using it as a monitor, yeah you don't need it.
Hello @benjaminehrenberg, Thanks for your feedback! While the Monitor Plus app and USB-C cable offer basic functionality, the Ninja Phone provides several advantages, such as enhanced performance with the Atomos OS interface, seamless camera-to-phone connection, and advanced monitoring tools. It also allows for live streaming, multi-camera setups, and direct cloud uploads. The Ninja Phone is designed to unlock your Iphone HDR screen's full potential and offer a more comprehensive experience for content creators. We believe it adds value beyond what you get with the standard Monitor Plus app. Let us know if you have any other questions! ATOMOS
Hi@GadgetsBoy, Thank you for your inquiry! Currently, SSD support is not available with the Ninja Phone. However, we have forwarded your suggestion to the concerned department to explore the possibility of implementing this feature in the future. We appreciate your feedback! ATOMOS
Hi @lemnisgate8809, thanks for sharing your thoughts! The Ninja Phone accessory is mainly designed to unlock the full HDR monitoring potential of the iPhone screen, providing a wider color gamut and better dynamic range when paired with film cameras, while also making use of the iPhone’s storage for recording. However, we will keep your request for SSD and LUTs in mind as a feature request. Stay tuned on our socials and website for any updates. Best, ATOMOS
Bought one then found out that the iPhone 16 Pro Max doesn't fit the holder if the phone has a case on it. Hate taking my case on and off, wasted my money.

Why not just use the monitor plus app and a USB- C cable instead. I can’t see any feature which makes me want to buy this product.
