Here in SC. When we limb line we can't use stainless hooks and our hooks must be 8/0 or bigger. We also can't keep any gamefish. I wish we could use smaller hooks on cut bait lines. Great video justin. If we set our hooks in the day light the gars will clean every hook

Man, I gotta say, I'm impressed with that Duck Drab paint! Getting a paint to stick to flexible material is not an easy task, and it's not only on a flexible boat, but surviving getting cold and stiff and being scratched and then getting warmed up in the sun on top of your buggy or truck. That's impressive!.... The biggest white perch I ever caught were two twins just an ounce or two under 3 pounds caught running lines with big minners in Okatibbee Lake... I have come to a possible conclusion on your Crawfish Boil Conundrum, as far as catchin Gret Bigguns for the pot... You need to get some of that fine, new thin braid from your Temu crappie reel and make you some trot lines for crawdads! Put some #12 hooks on there, bait em up with some individual fish roe, and make you some weights out of some sewin thimbles and wear the crawdads OUT! Never seen one decide to get CAUGHT on a line before!! She had a bunch of hawngry mouths to feed, so she wasn't playin around and got bold enough to steal fish bait from a country boy!

That was a first for me too . Even with all the years running lines. I caught some weird things tho. Some with feathers but not a crawdad

Yea and they work great just difficult in swift water in a canoe. In a boat where your on one end its easy but this spins around and gets dangerous

Have you ever just stick hook into the minnows mouth and thread them on the hook, that's always worked better for me on lines.
