  • For most people with European hair the traditional weave braided and then sawed in does not last long and tangles at house of hair uk we offer you a beaded saw in that last 10-12wks for most clients it's low cost and low maintenance and looks amazing.
    If you have your own hair we can often offer same day appointments in our west London location.
    House Of Hair UK is a small hair extensions studio in west London Ealing run by stylist Ayanda Soares, the videos we upload are to demonstrate the methods we use in the salon to give advise and support for those who have or want to have hair extensions.
    Hair extensions should always be applied and installed by a licensed professional.

    I’d like to express my ‘Gratitude’ to you HoH!!
    From watching your tutorials, I have taught myself to use this method AND successfully!
    I keep coming back to get ideas on placement and for a refresher prior to each client I do. After using taped extensions , this is so easy, quick and clean - removal and reapplication with no sticky glue to pick off!
    Love love love it, thankyou 💕

    WOW ! GREAT JOB ,HAD long blonde extensions put in my Caucasian thin hair African American lady did the hair,she put on top a round Braid then second Braid from front side around head to the other front side ,3=..Started sewing in extentions second row than top, she was finished, ok it looked beautiful. Forgot to tell you She cut ✂️ the long hair b4 she started,,Why she did this i didn't understand, This was the first time i had extensions,,now i have more knowledge this was unnecessarily done. After 4 day's the extensions was so loose feeling they was going to fall out after 2 wk,s i felt insecure couldn't stand it any longer had my husband helped to taken them out, for a white person thin hair braids won't hold the long extensions in ,but your way of doing it looks stronger to hold ,i would try again with you. THANK YOU DEAR FOR SHOWING US YOUR ART YOUR TALENT,,MUTCH LOVE TO YOU❤ YOUR A SWEETHEART❤.

    These are extensions , weave is done completely differently..she's not completely replacing all of her natural hair with artificial hair..her own hair stays down..she's just adding in a track around the base of the crown to make her natural hair to appear fuller.

    • @lilzuplada1564

    Do track extensions pull out or prevent hair from growing?

    • @houseofhairUK
      @houseofhairUK  7 лет назад +6

      Christina Powell hi if installed to tight they can 100% pull hair. If left on to long or the tracks are to heavy they can make hair thin over time. Best to only ever double tracks I never triple them up, and always place in a u/v shape helps to distribute the weight around your trample a little better. Also don't keep them in for to long I recommend 8wks, for fine hair 6, strong thick hair can someone go to 10wks maybe 12. Also length some people like to very long extensions the longer they are the heavy they most likely are so try to only wear 4-7inch longer than your natural hair xx

      Sure they would just need to be placed in a more V/U or horse shoe shape to reduce tension when pulled up

  • @mabaldwinful

    I love your video, I want to install wefts with beads, I love the colors in your weft. I would like to purchase this ris the name or number of this color. Where do you your beads ? Are they micro linkies, lined inside the barrel, or what is the name of the beads, my hair is very fine, Thank you, your video is great !

    • @houseofhairUK
      @houseofhairUK  6 лет назад +2

      +mabaldwinful hi ok so the hair we do is inhouse hair it's colour 18/613 mix, you can get silicone beads on Amazon and ebay might need to try s few companies do see who has good quality that does not peal off. I used the ones with silicone inside. If your hair is fine use 4mm beads and try to put more of your hair inside the bead so it can take the weight of the weft. I would not advise going very long because long weft are heavy & can pull on your own hair. Also do not double up the extensions weft just go single so your hair can handle the weight. Hope that helps xx

    Okay, quick question? Are you making a small braid and adding a bead, then clamping it down and moving on to another section of the same braid...I did something similar to this and the weft is loose....I sooo love this video, just want to make sure I have my clients hair perfect...

    • @houseofhairUK
      @houseofhairUK  6 лет назад +1

      Shannon Blackman hi Hun there is no braiding involved because it often makes bulky on clients with thin hair and often braids slide out on clients with European hair texture. I just simply add the beads side by side linking each bead to the next giving a solid foundation like a braid would then I attach the extension hair. Hope that makes sense x

      Debbie Joyner hi this cost £25 per row it last 10-12wks if you have thin hair I would recommend having Maintinance around 8wks. Wefts can be heavy on the hair so I would not double the weft over and stitch in I would only use a single row of weft so it’s less tension in your hair but yes can be used for single strands

    Is Russian hair the best for white girls?

    • @houseofhairUK

      Hi Hun it really depends on hair texture it’s more fine so would be a better match for most ladies but I would say maybe 85% of my white client use my SEA hair and love it

    To me most of us of European ancestry need to wash our hair every day with maybe one of the weekend days a non-wash day. I don't think a weave would suit my hair it gets so greasy. One of my relatives has dry hair though and only needs to wash her hair once a week. The weave does look nice to add a fuller look to her hair though.

    • @houseofhairUK
      @houseofhairUK  7 лет назад +1

      Vi W hi Hun you can wash daily if you like but the drying she styling processing along with the washing (rubbing) will loosen the application, but yes I have daily washing clients so we use this method not braid in weave because the braids would loosen within a few weeks. Also we stock dry shampoo that a lot of my girls purchase so they can sometimes wash every other day. Or final option is to just wash the t- section (top & sides) daily and the whole head every few days. Hope that helps I will try to do a question and answer video really soon

      kim stringer so funny you say that but I have been doing weave for years and years and this takes me half the time on European hair. Also braids slide out of European hair in a few weeks this past the client 10wk+ trust me if your a stylist learn this method. I do a few of these a day

      Trigger Toes hi Hun it’s really not my clients love them they don’t put pressure on your hair at all. They do take 1-2 days to settle and get used to but after that they are so flexible and gentle on your hair x

    10-12 weeks???!!!!! How do you clean your scalp, your hair in all that time?? I'd go mad not cleaning my scalp. I get itchy 😷 when I go one to two days w/o shampooing my hair and by that, I mean really scrubbing my scalp with my nails, not just pouring water over my head. How do women really clean their scalp and hair w/o ruining all this work???!!!!!! And, aren't most extensions plastic??? Basically just plastic cause real hair is expensive. I don't want to ask my black friends cause I think they would take this as a sign that I don't like their hair so, I stay away from the hair questions cause out of all the people using these wefts, the majority are black women.

    • @houseofhairUK
      @houseofhairUK  4 года назад +2

      Marilyn Catalano calm down love. The hair is not glued to your scalp you wash it like normal with shampoo and conditioner, you can rub but not scrub the scalp. The hair market is flooded with human hair from all around the world it’s not the expensive anymore 1 bundle of human hair can cost around £70-200 depending on length and how it’s processed. Also my client base is full of non black woman, white, Asian, black hair extensions are for anyone who wants to increase length or volume

      @@houseofhairUK thank you for clarifying that for this 63 y/o white woman that used to be a hairdresser in my day. I sincerely love to learn as much as I can in this day and age so, I thank you. Beautiful work by the way!!!😀🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗 Oh, by the way, how much is let's say 70 pounds into U.S. dollars. I don't know about converting pounds into dollars so I would greatly appreciate knowing this.
