    Your employer sacked Peter Lalor for posting on his private socials news stories about Gaza. Shameful stuff. Where is the journalistic solidarity. Grow a pair guys. At least Peter Lalor knows who his friends are now. Incredibly disappointing.

      I was disgusted re Lalor's sacking as well. That said, Geoff and Adam aren't running SEN and you don't know what they've said privately. It's easy to call them out. Did you take the time to let SEN know what you thought? They're far more likely to listen to us than they are Geoff and Adam.

    It’s been noted that the England women do not train as hard as the Australian women, this needs to change.

    I wonder if Healy might keep going for a different reason: she just scored her 3rd win as a test captain - equalling Belinda Clark - and there are 2 Tests (vs India & WIndies) ~1 year from now. Winning both would see her equal Larsen's all-time record captaincy tally of 5 wins (not to mention the additional opportunities to get that Test ton)!

    What the English women don’t realise is that the likes of Aus, India are developing at such a rate, there is serious competition for places, and that their performances have been looked at, if you were a Franchise team woukd you pick any of our players.
    McGrath was actually playing in the A side prior to this series

  • @Hugh-N-inKent

    Australia were clever targeting Charlie Dean's off spin and as a consequence, I believe, her batting confidence evaporated. She's supposed to be going to the WPL but don't be surprised if she takes a break. England really need her for the ODIs upcoming.

    The problem with the English team is that they came to Australia thinking they were going to play a bunch of easybeats. But they encountered the very best on the planet. They had the wrong attitude from the start.

  • @mindletloose
    @mindletloose 7 дней назад

    The venue wasn't the problem, the timing was one (end of school holidays) , England's capitulation through the ODI and T20 series the other.
    Maybe way too ambitious to match T20 World Cup crowds of 86,714 but if you don't play places with capacity, you'll guaranteed never get large crowds.
    You achieve great things by daring to dream big.

    I get it’s up to the other teams to step up and match Australia, but is that possible…. and in all honesty surely it’s not great for the women’s game with the wide gap? Games need jeopardy and just don’t see that at the moment when the dominant Aussies play. A jealous England supporter!!

    • @rahulnuthakki123
      @rahulnuthakki123 7 дней назад +4

      As an Aussie fan, think of it from Australia's perspective. They have no one matching them and yet they get better and better year after year.
      It's definitely possible to get better irrespective of what other teams do. England just need to do what they can do to get better. Most of it is attitude, dedication and training harder. Which is possible. And if they do that, they will run Australia pretty close if not beat them

    Beaumont - not scoring, and improving
    Heather Knight, not scoring and as captain is responsible for plans, setting the field, adapting to situation. Needs to step down
    Lauren Bell, needs to play outside of the UK, perhaps go to Aus, get coached, play regular 20, 50 over matches
    Maia Bouchier, has not adapted, gets done on spin,
    Amy Jones - needs to go
    Nat Sciver Brunt - needs to retire, always looks depressed
    Sophia Dunlkey, keeps failing
    Charlie Dean, needs to go to Aus like Bell, get some experience
    Kate Cross - retire
    Sophie Ecclestone, needs to get fit, she got 5 in the test, but for how many runs, she got nailed
    Lauren Filer, needs coaching
    Danni Wyatt Hodge - retire
    Change the professional scheme, no longer than 1 yr contract, even pay per play.
    Perhaps then they would take it more serious.
    We have the likes of Izzy Wong having jollies at RedBull F1.
    This is just like the Athletes and Lottery Funding, open to abuse.
    Management all need to go, they have failed, we need a ruthless manager, training squad who actually say, you are unfit, not performing.

      Think you need to distinguish between ODI (and Test) and IT20 latter would suit some of the younger players for the ODIs down the line. Exception would be Smale in ODI with Beaumont alongside Beaumont and drop Bouchier to 3 or 5. Interesting comments about Lauren Bell and Charlie Dean for that is exactly what I have been saying about Alice Capsey.. go and base herself in Australia for a whole season.

  • @Hugh-N-inKent
    @Hugh-N-inKent 6 дней назад

    I still maintain Alice Capsey still hasn't recovered properly from that broken collar bone. England must bring in Seren Smale to open in the ODIs.

    NZ's Super Smash has just finished, displaying a fine array of young talent - England same in the summer? Heather should stay, Nat had a bad tour by her standards. England have been batting with seven and bowlers who can't bat. What's betting all forgiven and back with the same team in the summer?

    My issue with these guys, is that they have no humility. They feel the need to really humiliate others. Yes Australia absolutely thrashed england and it was a deserced loss. You take snippets of quotes and turn it around and denegrate others to rhe level that Mr Lemon spoke like. Personally, I will always use these types of videos to show how not to behave .
    Really get disappointed in these two, Mr Lemon especially.
