By filling the glass bottle with oil, the plant material inside becomes more beautiful due to the refractive index of light. It is used as interior decoration.

Mineral or baby oil is fine. Herbarium oil is very expensive. Get them at the dollar store. If anyone wants to make and sell their crafts, always go for cheaper supplies if you can. If you use expensive stuff and it reflects in your price you might not be able to sell them.
