I just found it after reading the Rolling Stone article with Jimmy about his new book coming out www.rollingstone.com/music/music-features/jimmy-page-anthology-interview-bonham-led-zeppelin-1074825/
Totally missed opportunity to have James talking about "taking them to the bridge" and then splicing in the end of the Crunge where Robert says "I can't find the bridge"
This right here ladies and gentlemen is the reason why I keep paying for internet! As someone already pointed out, this is quite possibly one of the best music mash-ups ever made.
Absolutely brilliant, both funky and weirdly funny (the video has many amazing moments, like Page's back-pedal cycling loop). No wonder Pagey himself loved it!
The every morning mashup. The mashup that should be broadcast to deep space. The mashup that could be on the soundtrack of almost everyone's life. The mashup that can alter any mood. The mashup that...... GO !
Those moves are what I like to call brown-fu. A combo of kung fu and James Brown dance moves. If you watch the video for are you gonna go my way by Lenny Kravitz there is a lovely young lady busting out some cool moves. 😁
This is my favourite mashup ever, brilliant editing and mixing. As far as I know, members of Led Zeppelin were great James Brown fans (see the song Crunge, which is a Brown homage/parody).
Yes, absolutely brilliant, both the original remix and the editing of the video. There are many points where the video is both exciting and funny at the same time (the "backwards cycling" movement of Page, for example).
This is awesome because I know Plant loooooove Elvis and I can only imagine he loved a showman like Brown. Rock on, this is awesome! I’m grooving, digging AND rocking!
Jimmy & James should have been a band, James could have brought out Jimmy's magical talents Way Beyond what Robert brought out in Jimmy. Love you both to death.🌹🌹
this is so badass! i'm cracking up 'cause i never figured 2 of my favorites bands would get together & bring the hole lotta love, cold sweat/sex machine thang to our funky little wifi hookup-genius sh!t
~ So much classic rock and funk and male hormones this is almost overwhelming, but truly addictive it is so marvelous and brilliant - brilliant - triple fabulous ~ Cheers, DAVEDJ ~
Well done to the creatives who put this together. Two Titans in the same song 🎵 zapped into something brilliant. . . When I played this track last year on the park ( sunny weather) everybody told me to turn it up to 11. . .
I REPLAY This ALOT Also...Bestess Mash-Up EVER!! ...LOVE THAT PART TOO! "Where's That ConFounded Bridge" 😄...lol and the way Jimmy Page Get's The GROOVE-ON to that lol 😄 JUST FREAKIN' LOVE THIS VIDEO!! 👍💜🎸💫🎶🪅💃🕺🪅🎶💫☮🕊🌈✌🎇☄🤍🧚♀✨
The greatest mashup, full stop. Illuminates the cross-pollination of great music that occurred in the '60s and '70s. And Mr. Brown's moves at the 2:45 mark prove that he is the funkiest being in all of the universe.
Here's another James Brown/Led Zeppelin connection: James Brown's music had a huge influence on Led Zeppelin. This can be heard on their song "The Crunge" which according to Jimmy Page was 100% influenced by James Brown's funk style. You can also hear singer Robert Plant say at the end of the song "Where's that confounded bridge?". Bridge was something James yelled at his musicians to change the rhythm in the song so he could start to dance!
Quite possibly one of the best music mash-ups ever made.
Queen/House of Pain/ACDC-We Will Jump You is worth checking out
Yes I agree 💯! 👍🏻👍🏻😏
without a doubt! BESTESS MASH-UP EVER!!
👍💜🎸💫🎶🪅💃🕺🪅🎶💫☮🕊🌈✌🎇☄🤍🧚♀✨
Bill McClintock might argue that point.
Recently, a team of psychologists from Stanford and UC Berkley established that it is impossible for a human being to not like this.
😅👍🏾
I like it, but I'm the minority 👍🏾
Hahaha, has anyone else just found this from jimmy page posting on his Instagram?

Classic rock, r&b funk and old hip hop, the history of rock and roll in one song
Apparently, Page has seen this video and liked it.

Nobody'll ever convince me there's a better mashup.
Amen
I've been listening to countless 'mashups' during lockdowns and this is just brilliant!
TURN IT UP LOUD!
👍
When guy next too you has his trunk vibrating. I'm gonna put this through my 10 speaker Bose system in my Yukon and watch them turn in awe.
Bose speakers are Bloody Good. So are Accoustimass speakers 🔊 Rock n' Roll
Straight up one of the all time greatest music remix I've had the pleasure to enjoy. 😍

What a killer mashup
Absolutely brilliant, both funky and weirdly funny (the video has many amazing moments, like Page's back-pedal cycling loop). No wonder Pagey himself loved it!

James Brown and his precision timing. Like how he busts a move at 2:44 - 2:52
James Brown é único. sempre tem o tempo perfeito,,

LZ’s song “the crunge” was inspired by James Brown, they loved him
@@abbietalavera6068 you can tell! I love that aggro-sexy-angsty energy they all have. Makes you energetic.
Clyde"Funky Drummer"Stubblefield and John "Bonzo"Bonham on the same track, nothing else would be needed.
THE BEST MASHUP
Hit it and quit? Like he hits his tail? Lol!! Definitely one of the best mashups.
This is awesome Jimmy page posted this on his instagram story, this is how I found it.

Greatest rock band ever...
Led Zeppelin.
👍🏾
I wish it was on Apple Music
prob the best mashup ever done. Its better than either song separately. The video throws it over the top. Prove me wrong.
I cannot prove you wrong. But I CAN say you got taste and style
I love the videos that go with these fantastic creations!
Why hasn’t this got a million plus views?
Whoa momma... thats the shit right there 🔥🔥🔥
any Zeppelin fans get this? 1:06 "Have ya seen the bridge?" where's the confounded bridge!"
Yep, the ending of The Crunge. Good reference.
Fucking awesome mix both with the video and music! Plus I like the little clips tossed in with Aerosmith and Run DMC thrown into the mix of video!

0:59 Robert used this line in "The Crunge". Would've been cool to include it.

This is phat. Good ears, man!!
I know Plant sang Sex Machine live on May 24, 1975 as a part of the Whole Lotta Love breakdown, so this isn't the most bizarre mashup 😉
Why am I suddenly hoping for a bootleg of that show so we may hear that deliciousness?
I would love to hear that too!
How's video of it? ruclips.net/video/KRDw4Cp9SKI/видео.html
Get up !!! I want a whole lotta love
Jimmy muthafucking page shared this on Instagram 👌 well done, sir.

This James Brown song is actually the song where Led Zeppelin got the words "has anybody seen the bridge?" from on The Crunge.
0:57 enter red hot chilli peppers under the bridge

Dammmm.so coollllllll so much fun key 😮🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
I wish there was a bit more Run DMC in it. Walk this way!
Or less!
Awesome!
I like this remix

Super Cool!
Imagine these 2 on a double bill during their heyday.
Make a version with Run DMC lyrics and Steve Tyler singing.
Very cool.
