Hardly Did I write any Public Comment nor get extravagantly excited over anything. I am Stone Hardened by Nitty Gritty Life Experience with rather Harsh, Stoney, Granite, Disposition, However, I must admit that Live Pictorials of various Investment Holdings in Downtown Lagos, convincing enough, for any Fence Sitting, Reasonably Biased, Hard-Wired International Investors. Nevertheless, Impressive piece of work had won me over without saying a word... Stone Hardened Martins...The Gravity Way !...
You did well! How come you didn't add any advertisement to your video though?

Lagos needs to plant more trees to green the city.
Yes that would be lovely !
I quite agree!
True 👍
Petition!
Johannesburg has more trees than any other city in the world. Just saying Lagos?
Nigerian government must to build smart cities with high skylines and good roads and bridges and create jobs for the people of Nigeria
So needs to build another lagos Finally !
Yes 👍
It's not the Government the one to build a big City there with high skylines, but it is the one to make the necessary better economic and legal conditions so that the people there could build there a beautiful city for themselves! and for them! not for the Government!
Nigeria and smart doesn't fit in a single sentence.🤣🤣

Stable video, quality sound, great job! Watched about 10 minutes. Love the vibrant colors everywhere!
Still watching.. 20:10 What's going on here? Govt office? I see the blue Toyota truck has a United States Army sticker. Pretty interesting. Ill have to read into US Nigeria relations now.
this is the place where the Oba Of Lagos is Staying apparently. The oba is the historical chief of the city.
thank you so much for watching this video my dear i really appreciate to see you coming around !
that video is actually very quiet, if you have few minutes more and want to take a dive into the life of Lagos Nigeria, i advice you to take a look at that video in the belly of the city, or the immersive drive i did . They both are in the Center of the megacity, in some very busy places. On both of them you may see hundreds of thousands persons busy working in the streets. So different from the quiet and organized place you are used to shoot.

thank you for your very warm comment ! I am so glad these videos can reactivate old memories and give feelings to the viewers !
did you see the aerial footage on my main channel ?
The city is massive. The commercial district sprawls over multiple areas.
yes the most massive of Africa !
I will be visiting Lagos next year after being away for 12 years. I was born there but was raised abroad. Can’t wait to see what this city holds.
There is no half feeling toward Lagos. You'll hate it or you will love it. Lagos is a city that cannot be compared to any other.
By watching the video them Nigeria is a nice place

Thank you for this video bro. This remind me of my childhood when I used to walk around Lagos island. Places like Campus, Okepopo, Odunfa, Oyebanji, Isalè Èko etc. Thank you.
This is the kind of comment that makes my video alive. I really thank you for that ! Without people like you to have feeling and appreciate them, these video would be senseless.
Is this a poor city?
@@NOV123 its not a poor city. It's a vibrant city. This is just the market area. The city is not as developed as it should be and that's due to corruption in the government but its an amazing city where you can find whatever you're looking for.

@@hegivesmerest6573 wowww that s a great news! I also love to look at these scenery, for real is still better. For me it is like a permanent master peace of art. Where every seller, every street boy or oga is an actor in the masterpiece
I've been away from Nigeria for 13 years, and seeing this brings back a lot of nostalgia. One thing that surprised me is the sheer number of traffic offenses in this video alone! Reflecting on it now, I'm amazed at how we coped-people changing lanes without signaling, improper overtaking, running red lights, not yielding to pedestrians e.t.c
. I truly believe that if you can navigate the roads in Lagos, you can handle any road in the world.
I don't care how poor a city is, there is no excuse for all the unorganized streets, no lane markings and no red lights where there should be and causing all this chaotic driving. It's almost like there is no driving laws. It's ridiculous and doesn't have to be like that. The people deserve better from the city. It's like everybody is out for their selves and nobody else is around. And add to that the ever so frequent sound of horns honking, makes for nerve wrecking sight-seeing leisure drive thru the city to say the least. I can't imagine having to make that drive everyday. Kudos to the videographer and excellent driving skills and our safe arrival. It felt as if I was right there with you. Great video. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Thank you for posting it.

Nigerian are hard working and smart. Look at Lagos, building it from scratch and just 40 - 50 years ago. Don't forget, cities from the West were built 400 - 500 years ago. Imagining, Lagos today X by 10. Will Lagos be top of the line city.?
Lagos will keep developing and seat at the top level of Africa. then world.... during this generation, no doubt about it
Lagos is so huge
yes it is really enormous. That one hour video only brought us in a small part of Lagos. I ll have to do many of those if i want to cover the major part of Lagos megacity
Its a lot more crowded now than it used to be. Streets like Igbosere, Moloney and the roads in Onikan etc were much more sedate just 20 years ago. I was shocked when I reached Obalende, comparing it with how it used to be in the 1970s when I was at St Gregorys College. That said, this is the city of my birth, it will always be my hometown. The fast pace sets you up for any situation anywhere in the world. I feel blessed.

I remember the days when Tafawa Balewa Square was called Race Course and there was a cricket pitch there. Yes I am that old. My bus from Shell Club in Surulere used to terminate at Tinubu Square, there was no CMS bus stop then, although it was the Christ Church Cathedral that was my destination twice a week for choir practice as a choirboy. On Sundays we did the same journey by car. I witnessed the building of the Eko Bridge, the old Carter bridge was the only bridge to the Island in the days when I first started making the journey. I also witnessed the building of the National Stadium in Surulere and was present as a child at the All Africa Games in 1972. Needless to say then that I also witnessed the construction of the National Theatre at Iganmu. Lagos grew as I was growing, we grew up together.

A great one-hour road tour of Lagos, proper. I enjoyed seeing campus square where I grew up initially in Lagos in the mid-1960s, and then on to Broad Street. I saw the old Central Bank building (across from Tinubu Square), where I worked from 1974-75. It was exciting to then see the old building on the left along Broad Street, where the Audio-Visual Aids Section of the Lagos State Ministry of Education was located. That was where I met my wife in 1973. Very nostalgic drive through our beloved Lagos, rough as it may be. Kudos for this video.
