Warlock used to be my favorite faction when I played this game as a kid and have quickly come to realize how hard it is to get them operational not to mention its a bit rough having a t5 unit that is virtually useless on hero without teleport. Great video as always! Keep em coming!
This was such a good game for 1995 I felt bad for the developers because I never bought it - they put out a demo disc on PC gamer which was 1 map but you got all the content I didn't care about the other maps or campaigns or artifacts I was missing out on
A lot of things go into the time of completion: do the towns in the middle match your castle, does the AI beat up on each other, does the AI cheese the artifact, are you playing for quickest real world time, are you playing for the quickest in game time, etc. For example, when playing, I typically have 6-8 heroes running around. This can assist for a quick in game time, but comes at a cost of real world time. It is all about the trade offs.
Nice game. It is not an easy map. You played good. I think you are playing too aggressive in combat some time, and loosing troops which can be saved. Let the monster come to you, meanwhile kills them with your archers. You can have won it easlly with a weaker army, muxh sooner, but who care about score anyway? 😅

I can't say that I understood why you chose necromancy, but this was fun and nostalgic to watch.
I never do choose it and I like to switch things up every now and then.
